Mo, Very frustrating when the scale goes up and down for a week- maybe you are past that plateau now. How many days are you planning? It's good to get the iron from
the beef and to vary the sameness of the menu.
Hi Gemgirl,
Awesome, love P3 and don't find that phase hard at all. It feels like normal eating to me.
I think I struggle with how many pellets work, it seems to vary from day to day.
Enjoy vacation!

Blue,
Have been experiencing the same with the lack of sleep. I think I missed the window when I felt tired and kept pushing it. I'm menopausal and taking BHRT but had missed my dose so maybe the lack of estrogen was what caused it. Usually it's progesterone but with me it's estrogen.

Dropped 1.6 from P2 steak day. Hoping to keep 1 lb of that loss. We’ll see. Plan is to continue drops today then transition Wednesday/Thursday, P3 on Friday. Fingers crossed all goes well!
I'm post menopausal as well! I'm no longer on hormones, though. I was the first couple of years, though, and counted to days until I could hopefully come off. I was basically psycho, eesh. I usually have that window as well, even when using the OTC sleep aid, so know what you're talking about. Hopefully itll be better for you tonight![]()
Mo, I never knew that about Liz! I loved hearing it, thank you.
Great drop from your P2 steak day!!! Heres hoping you keep (and fingers crossed, maybe a little more??)
AFM, LIW was 184.4, today is P3D3, and I'm sitting quite comfortably at 182.4. Totally happy with that! I've added dairy, eggs, olive oil, pork, turkey sausage, bacon, blueberries, kept apples and strawberries in, as well as spinach for a quiche. Next week is when I do my main grocery shopping, so basically using stuff I have on hand and adding more plus healthy fats. I'm NOT trying to stuff myself, either, I'm eating to hunger. So, just naturally keeping things easy and "safe" this week while still getting what I need and want. Now, NEXT week may be my challenge simply due to more variety. I totally stopped doing all faux baking in P3, too. It is unbelievable how calorie dense those items are when made with nut flours, MCT or coconut oil, and cream! And, of course, I just can't stop at one!
Mo,
That sounds achievable. You need a good whoooooosh!!

I think there are very few doctors that know anything about hormones in general, least of which are the endos. I keep taking the hormones only because I feel a lab result of zero for estrogen for a woman sounds dead to me. Usually I see the post menopausal lab
parameters start at zero! How can that be healthy? Sometimes I will do every other day just to keep some in the bloodstream without going overboard.

Good morning, everyone. How are you all doing today?
A huge success - I'm FINALLY starting to sleep better, woooo hooooo!! Also, went to the driving range yesterday. About a month ago, hubby and I tried walking nine holes (me for the first time ever), and I literally was physically unable to. Kept having to stop, kneel down, rest, drink a little water, it was awful - sooo weak, soooo nauseous. It really scared me! I believe it was a combo of being on P2, extreme heat, AND starting the Orencia. I avoided golf the rest of my round until going yesterday. Pretty happy with the difference in physical response, though still have a long way to go working on my swing, hee hee. But, a vast improvement. We like to play in a Friday night scramble, those use carts, so I'll be fine this week I think.
Hanging solid in P3 so far. Starting to plan our annual trek back to FL from CT. I'll be firmly in P4 for the trip which I was careful to work around. Driving for two days is rough enough without having to be on a very limited diet. VERY excited to see our 3 yr old granddaughter again! She's a little doll, very active, and is really getting to be very outgoing and engaging, love her to death. Already planning holiday crafts and baking for her and I to do, she loves spending time with granny
Enjoy your day and keep hanging in there!
