LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - "SPRINGiNG FORWARD" in MARCH!!!

Hello to all of the Lovely Losers out there from Coco (aka sdwis your newest Moderator). This is your thread for MARCH 2019.

SPECIAL NOTE: Spring is just around the corner, and my personal goal is to fit easily into my "fun in the sun and beachwear" as I have for the past few years. I am finishing up a vanity round in a few days, with excellent results thus far (including a successful 10 day Planned interruption).

Here 's encouragement to everyone who is also looking forward to losing those Pounds and Inches just in time for a new Spring Wardrobe!!

This joyful and jubilant group of HCGíers have been starting new threads every month for years to prevent people from having to sort through literally thousands of old posts, and making it easier for new people to join in.

Please note as you read through the posts:

We are all in different phases of HCG.
We all use different methods of HCG.
What is right for YOU, is right for YOU and we respect that. We donít judge.
We discuss ALL aspects of our individual journeys to a healthier lifestyle.
And MOST importantly, while we can be a little naughty and nutty (always with humor!! ) we are NICE to each other!!

So, whether you are just starting, finishing or are somewhere in between . . .

    You ARE Welcome!!

    Good morning, good month everyone!

Managed my first light kettlebell training yesterday, aiming to introduce that every second day. Went for the first doggy round right after getting up, followed by some fish. (I am doing a low calorie variation of hcg 2.0)

VLCD7 and down 15 lbs. Getting my new supplements today, so then I am taking d3, magnesium, and a B ****tail (as a pill) similar to the fat burner/ MIC shots. I can easily get b12 for injections, but the whole ****tail would have been hard to source, half illegal and extremely expensive - so pills it is.

My best friend and secret crush fessed up yesterday that he is starting a diet next week... it is one of these Whatsapp/ Facebook secret ďwrite me for detailsĒ deals that an acquaintance of his is peddling. What I have seen so far, it is mainly low carb with a lot of supplements, including those b/mic ****tails, at a horrendous cost.

I am curious and look things over next week... like I told him, I am obese - which means I know every diet out there.

Hope everyone is doing great, heading into the weekend! I have my parents over tomorrow, so will probably barbecue if I can get the grill to work - easy for me to stay on protocol.

I have been MIA the last couple of days.
I am weighing in at 148 still. I am still struggling with my BM's. I am giving it this weekend and if it does not get regular going to the doctor. I have said that before but the week got away from me. It is weird I am not going without help, and I don't feel like i have to go. Weight up, no inches gained, no bloating, no gas. I really do not fee constipated. When I do go it is just not right. TMI I am sure. But I am chalking this round up as a lost cause and moving forward. I think a few things came into play, I had my colonoscopy the day before I loaded, not sure that had anything to do with it. I got really dehydrated due to being sick, even though my fluid intake was very high. I think that through this P3 in spite of drinking a ton of water, with the severe constipation I also may have gotten dehydrated. So, will get this all on track and re look at a round in the future. I go to my clinic tomorrow and will ask when they think I can do another round. I might just try to do one before the summer hits full force but after spring break as I am going to FL to see my mom.

Otherwise things seem good. My husband has been hearing back on his resumes and is getting some movement through the process, it is slow. My kids seems to have settled down and I think things going forward are going to be ok.

Morning, everyone! Looks like most are doing well!

April: Definitely gotta figure out what's going on. It's so weird that you're not feeling any effects from it but better to be safe about it. Glad your husband is hearing back about jobs! Hopefully he grabs one up soon.

AFM: I didn't weigh today but I feel pretty good. I had some Lily's chocolate last night. Yum! I prefer milk chocolate vs. dark but I didn't mind the 40%. Went to the urgent care yesterday and immediately got in because they thought I might need to go to the ER. He basically said I just had a mild concussion and a sprained neck. He asked me what I wanted from the appt. and I just told him I wanted some Ibuprofen 800mg. I'd rather take 1 of those than 4 200mg so he wrote it up and here I am. Feeling much better but now I have to figure out why they charged me $129 for the visit when my insurance says it should have been $0. I have an email in to my insurance carrier so we'll see what they say. I just need to be reimbursed by someone.

sdwis-Great job. Sounds like this summer will be amazing for you and you're weight will be something you're happy with-with plenty of time to still get there!
GodLoves-15pounds in 7 days!?! soooo jealous! Do you mind telling me your starting weight this round and what version you're doing?
April-I have that issue (BM not happening) on HCG too. I don't feel like I have to go and therefore I don't. It's not unusual for me to go a week or so without one anyway so I just move along through the diet as normal and figure at the end when I finally have one, maybe I'll lose an extra lb or two
hcgpro2-Sorry you had to go to the ER. I never pay that bill up front. I let them bill me so I don't have to fight to get reimbursed. I did that once and it took MONTHS. I let them sort it out and then I step in when needed so the ER does get paid. Hope the meds help.

AFM: I'm starting a new round in the morning. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in myself. I finished a round many months ago and ended at 175. I've crept up to 191 as of this morning. I was trying to get back to 185 as that seems to be where my body has settled in for a while and then start this round, but that didn't happen. I just hate to do a 30 day round to simply get back to where I was at the end of the last round. Such a waste of a round last time. I'm really hoping I can lose 25lbs this 30 day round instead of only 15. TBH I wanted to hit 159, which is why the big push to get back closer to that 185 #. Seemed more doable-you know what I mean? I also have my 19 year old doing the diet with me this round. I have enough for us both to do a long round, but I'm going to break that up a bit. Do a short round, continue healthy choices to get to 160, then do another round starting the day before Mother's Day. We go to the beach at the mid/end of June. REALLY want to be around 145-150. I know I can do it. Now it's a matter of doing it. I'm doing the original protocol... I think. That's actually why I'm here. Which protocol do ya'll find causes the best results in overall loss in a short round? Diet Doc has two plans, but the one closest to the OP has a lot more fruit options and more protein overall. Thoughts?

I am a "die hard" original Simeons Protocol Girl. I've been too successful with it to try anything else that may or may not work for me.

For all of you with BM issues, I have them moderately in P2 as well. This is my go to product, which in P&I Dr. Simeons also states can be used.

BM in 30 minutes or less - guaranteed. If this doesn't work for you, a doctor visit may be necessary!

That's my problem. I've been too successful on OP to change, but if there is something that would allow me to go ahead and do the full 60 without becoming evil on day 32, that still has the same weight loss, i may be willing to try. What is your average weight loss per 30 day round?

    Happy cold March! UGH!

Thanks for getting us going sdwis.

Kristy - I've only done the OP. I do so much better with structure and the others allow too many options for me.

Cowgirl - You are doing great! What is a "doggy round"?

April - hope things get moving!

Pro - glad you got it checked out. Hopefully you'll get reimbursed quickly.

AFM - Well I've used my round as not only a weight loss round but also as an elimination diet of sorts to try and figure out my ear congestion and digestion issues. So I haven't had dairy for 7 weeks and felt better. Ears were still congested but digestive issues worked out. Well this week I began P3 by bringing back dairy. Well 4 days later my ears are itching, I'm a bit dizzy and more congested (even though I'm still using my allergy meds) and my stomach is beginning to get yucky. I'm sad to say I do believe I am allergic to dairy. Can we all have a moment of silence? So I'm kicking dairy back out. Now I was also a bit of a dummy and brought eggs in this week also (another big allergen). I really don't think it's the eggs but I'm kicking them back out as well and I'll bring those back at a later date.

Maintained weight loss for 2 years +/- 5 lbs
    Gained 10+ lbs from medication

NO reason to be jealous, I have to lose what most of your goal weights are... kinda... I started at 315 lbs. That means there is a lot of weight to move, and I am still lucky at 44, so far it still moves easily. I always do great with real food and no carbs... wonder why the lesson does not stick.

I am doing injections again. Seven years ago, hcg in combination with paleo, I lost 100lbs... I can do it again.

I am somewhere between OP and HCG 2.0 - was for most of my rounds, honestly. I never tried to eat the melba, and eventually dropped the fruit, too, since the sugar gives me cravings. I would usually do an apple in the afternoon, when I got peckish, but then went ravenous right after. Now I am rogue on both protocols, I think.

I do almost exclusively fish - canned tuna, ocean perch, hake. I can get away with more fish when compared to chicken, and I lose better on it. First small piece of fish right after getting up, or after I take the dogs out - that is HCG 2.0 advice. I mix my veggies - tomato, cucumber, zucchini, aubergine, kale, lettuce. No onions on 2.0. Where needed, I add a tiny bit of chicken broth or balsamico to fake a dressing. Unsweetened almond milk in my coffee (13kcal/ 100ml), with regular sweetener. That is off protocol in both cases, but I really wanted to cut out dairy all the way for this round. And I NEED my coffee.

I have two small dogs, so I am somewhat active (but I also have a big yard, so it depends), just added kettlebell training yesterday, hoping to also get some definition eventually. Better start now.

This round is the easiest ever, but my mind is really ready for some losses - and my dose is perfect. I am peckish, never hungry. So that is a big thing where I stray from HCG 2.0 protocol. I am supposed to eat 900kcal. From protein. O_o I don't need that, so I don't. I have been below 500 every day so far.

I hope to not get frustrated when the losses slow. Like right about now. We shall see... another 15lbs in the next 3-4 weeks would be nice, but I still lose on P3, so I will get there eventually - and then there is still a lot of weight to tackle!

cowgirl: seems like your body likes the 2.0 version so yay! I've never tried 2.0 but a lot of people around here swear by it.

amber: I wouldn't wanna live without dairy, so I'll join you in that moment of silence. You'll always have the memories lol

Kristy: Unfortunately, it sounds like I won't be reimbursed for it unless I can find the info on my HRA. Someone else at my job said her plan says urgent care is $0 but she was told she has to meet her deductible for it to be $0 :/ My deductible is $8,000 lol

LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - "SPRINGiNG FORWARD" in MARCH!!!

    Day 3 of P3 155.2. Up 1lb from LIW.

P2 is hard in its restriction, but Iím remembering why P3 is a mine field.

I am so hungry! Iím going to start to attempt to bring back intermittent fasting to get my ghrelin hormone under control. I made it 14 hours today. 16 hours everyday is more ideal.

Iíve noticed Iím boredom snacking already so my job today is to come up with a meal plan and buy groceries accordingly. Iíve noticed snacking happens when I donít really eat proper meals.

Iíve started moving around and doing cardio these past few mornings. My cardio health is probably the lowest Iíve seen it in over 10 years. Not being able to work out during pregnancy and post partum contributed to this.

Just for fun: my body has changed from pregnancy! Last time I was this weight I wore a 34B bra size. It looks like I will have to buy 32DD or 34D this weekend. I also used to be a 38 inch hip at this weight; Iím now 40! Pregnancy made me more hourglassy? Haha.

Attached is my macros from yesterday.
