Starting new in 2020-somewhere around 190lbs. We will see when I get the meds where I start.

*Have done several rounds in the past with success. R1 2019

Typically if one is doing a long round of 40 injections one can extent the VLCD to around 46 days by skipping one injection per week. I purchased product from NuImage and will continue skipping one day per week and having dropped my dosage to 150 IU will continue injections until all the mixed product is used. Going a bit rogue but perhaps it will backfire if I develop immunity and stop losing weight.

Yay on the losses, Kristy - I was the same with 2.0. Already doing many thing on my rogue OP. And yeah, I actually need to watch some carbs, too.

I also skip a day... just in case? Just in case I want to go on longer than 40 days, hoping I continue losing?

AFM - I knew this was gonna happen. Deadline looming, so I pulled a half-nighter. Quick nap around 10pm,, work till 3am, up later than usual. The hours of sleep were not bad, but the interruption leaves my body stressed and I have a headache.

    I am up 2lbs.

Today is stressful, too, but will try and get some exercise and enough sleep in. I am mixing things up today, eggs for breakfast and then more fat, less carbs. As I have lost so much, I feel fine risking some experiments.

But man... This sleep ain't no joke.

Mom has decided to go low carb. Wellllllll. She isn't dropping her two glasses of red, and then there is still cake for two weeks, apparently. At least, it is better than what she has been eating... All muesli and bread and pizzas etc. She also does a lot of veggies, she is a vegetarian (but eats fish), and considers this all “healthy eating” - but muesli and porridge and bread... that is very German. Whole grains or not.

I only gotta teach her to go high fat, too. That will be a challenge, we are so conditioned to be scared of fat.

OT - I am sad that forums in general are going out of style. This forum has such a wealth of info, well-sorted, experiences collected over years - Facebook groups are a mess. You can't find anything and after five minutes in most group, I hate all of humanity. Someone ate only veggies the first day, did not load, did not read any protocols, was hungry after 5 days - and the suggestion was to "eat 1200kcal, my clinic does that, too".

Clinics do that so it is easier to sell the program, because people balk at 500kcal. And when I piss-friendly ask how she takes hcg, at what dose, which protocol, to find the real reason she is hungry - I get blocked. Yup, go and eat 1200kcal on a protocol you do not understand.

AND my client is all "yeah, somehow these aren't working - it was our suggestion, so not your fault, can we do the things you suggested before?" - sure let me just redo everything.

So today will be THAT kinda day - grumpy, hating humanity and gained two pounds. The world better watch out.

    hey all.

Godlovescowgirls: I love this forum for this support. The facebook pages for HCG are a mess as far as I am concerned. I disagreed with someone, I think an admin about PB being a legume and therefore a starch when someone was gaining on P3 and I was removed from the site. I was amazed to not be able to try to help and have an opinion.

I had not been on because I have just been so frustrated this round. My weight got up to 150.4, but today I am back down a pound. I am starting to have regular BM's. I really just think that my body got toxic and inflamed as I have said. Today I am going to get some labs drawn, TSH to just check where I am and my hormones. I then will make some decisions on what I am going to do about those if they come back out of range. I am really make good food choices. I feel good about my plan right now. I hope to get back closer to my LIW by taking care of my body. I am back to taking the stairs at work. I work in a jail, we have 5 floors but each floor is two stories (top and bottom tier), so more like 10 floors if you really think about it. Since I don't have a ton of time to go to the gym (nor do I want to any more) I am going to find ways in my every day life to add exercise in, without it feeling like exercise. i am looking forward to summer to be able to walk more. I do play tennis and I am looking for times to schedule that it in more.

Last night we went to the Denver Area Counsel's Eagle Scout banquet. My oldest son and his two friends along with about a 100 young men were recognized. It was a proud mama moment. Working today, going to spend time with family and then working tomorrow..before taking a few weekends off. Going to FL to see mom for spring break soon. Ordered a new bathing suit top, hope it fits.

Morning all, I just went back and tried to catch up with everyone. I'm still IN THE GAME! P3D13-ish! I'm still bouncing 1-2 lbs. below LIW. I'm not counting calories, I'm mostly eating proteins and veggies. Have had a few nuts and peanut butter. Mostly, my mind is set on avoiding all SUGAR and getting carbs from veggies and some fruit. I have cheated a few times.....but very conscious about it and no gorging. I had a corn dog at the rodeo, one beer and found a bar that made skinny tequila drinks....so, I did fare well over my fun girls weekend. (thank goodness). Since last weekend, I've cheated on some whole wheat deep dish everything pizza......well worth the cheat!!! My very favorite. Also, I went to a Mexican food restaurant and had some chips and queso. (not that much). I can tell the difference when I eat the bad carbs........the next day I am much more hungry........I feel much better just eating protein and veggies, not cheating on crap and then enjoying something worth the cheat.

Kristy--I did try 2.0 version once......did not lose the weight that I lose staying POP. But, 10-12lbs vs. 15-17lbs is still great depending on how you look at it!! Mainly, it's stabilizing in the long run that is important and some rounds just aren't as good as others.

Cowgirl--I've been to the rodeo twice and want to go again!!

Jessica--I admire you willpower and motivation. AWESOME

LEMON- Thanks for posting you hummus adventure.......scared the heck out of me. I do NOT want to have to do a steak day!!

April--good attitude. getting hormones and thyroid levels balanced will hopefully make all the difference. I"m sure most everyone has had a bad round before. I had a 2.0 round right in the middle of Harvey (Houston Texas) last fall. Let's just say.....that didn't go so well!!!!!! But, I just walked away with the 12 lbs. loss and was grateful. (also didn't flood).

Everything has been so easy this round. P2 was easy and P3 is not stressing me. I'm starting to think about a vanity 3 week round. How long is it recommended to wait between rounds.......especially if you only have 10 lbs. more to lose? Ok....headed to do weights. Also, the weight lose is helping me on the tennis court. I'm actually quicker!! LOL. Have a great weekend everyone. KMac

It's great to see you stabilizing well and enjoying life at the same time. Very encouraging!

Here is the wait times between rounds according to Dr Simeons:

ďA second course can be started after an interval of not less than six weeks, though the pause can be more than six weeks. When a third, fourth or even fifth course is necessary, the interval between courses should be made progressively longer. Between a second and third course eight weeks should elapse, between a third and fourth course twelve weeks, between a fourth and fifth course twenty weeks and between a fifth and sixth course six months.

I ate a filet Mignon last night to get more protein in. Lost 3lbs this morning so Iíve lost 6.2 lbs in the first week with 2.5 of that being my loading weight I added on.

Iíve felt full all day but am craving sweets LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - "SPRINGiNG FORWARD" in MARCH!!! going to have to nip that in the bud too. As of now Iím up .8 from this am and typically have 2lb losses overnight-so itís likely and hopeful Iíll be down another 1.2 tomorrow Iíve got 26 days to go and plan on making the most of it.

Oh yeah...i remember you from a round checking your weight during the day and being able to predict what your body would do overnight. And it works! Always fascinated by that but to chicken to try it. Looks like your settling in well to know out another round. It'll be over before you know it

Good planning as always April! I understand your frustration first hand. Watching your round start to unravel regardless of your efforts is so unpleasant! I'm convinced that what happened to me as well (After you pointed that out). I was pretty much sick for most of my last round...it was a mess! It makes logical sense but there's nothing about it in Dr. Simeon's write up about it. I'm sure it was something he observed over the years.

For all those saying you'd be lost in his new age dating world...count me in. I would have no idea what to do or what to be on lol Good luck to those in new relationships and flirting! I've never been good at flirting lol

I know technically I should probably wait a while till my next round but I kind of feel like this last round could be like a "first" round for me because it had been over a year since my round before that. I am gonna wait about 8 weeks though. I'm planning on loading the weekend d of Mother's Day and doing another 21+ day round. I really wanna get down to around 130-135 and maintain that.

I saw a pick of myself from yesterday and it wasnt good. You know how you get ready in the morning and feel like "hey, I look good!" Then someone takes a pic and you feel like one of the monsters on Monsters Inc? Lol that's how I feel now.

I need to read through the men’s forums tonight... starting my friend’s husband on injections tomorrow or Monday. 235lbs, 5 feet 11 inches, 53 years old, and pre-diabetes.

Will start him on 140ui and hcg 2.0, 600-900 calories, I think. They live across the street, so I should be able to help out with any questions.

Since he is now taking my second round vial, I just ordered enough for three more rounds - who know if I can still get things after March, if Brexit goes through! I need to srockpile.

Remember me wanting to do a rogue high fat day, in P2, since I gained two lbs due to sleep deprivation? I had eggs for breakfast and salmon for lunch. Only I was too tired to read the salmon box correctly, and ended at 550 instead of 250 calories for that meal. I was sticking with 500kcal on 2.0, despite being “allowed” 950 - so I am hoping it won’t kill me.

Not sure I can avoid the sleep deprivation today, either, but will try to crash at 10... client is just on a deadline.
