Talking Lovely Losers 2019 - NO STOPPING in NOVEMBER!!!

Hello to all of the Lovely Losers out there from Coco (aka sdwis). Here's your new thread for NOVEMBER 2019.

    SPECIAL NOTE:
We all know how challenging it can be if you are on your HCG Journey during this time of the year. Everyone else is eating to excess with no apologies, and could care less about their weight. If you are brave enough to be in the middle of a round, or just finishing a round at Thanksgiving, you need extra encouragement to stick to it, so HERE IT IS.

If you are lucky enough to be LOADING during this time you have lots of fatty choices, ENJOY!!!!

This joyful and jubilant group of HCGíers have been starting new threads every month for years to prevent people from having to sort through literally thousands of old posts, and making it easier for new people to join in.

Please note as you read through the posts:

We are all in different phases of HCG.
We all use different methods of HCG.
What is right for YOU, is right for YOU and we respect that. We donít judge.
We discuss ALL aspects of our individual journeys to a healthier lifestyle.
And MOST importantly, while we can be a little naughty and nutty (always with humor!! ) we are NICE to each other!!

So, whether you are just starting, finishing or are somewhere in between . . .

    You ARE Welcome!!

    Thank you, Coco!

Clear and bright today, and after three days of snow and temps in the teens, so glad to see FALL back. Still crazy here, but still in my window by about an ounce. I'll take it!
    Onward!

Hello everyone! Just got back yesterday from our outreach trip & I was so exhausted! I actually slept til 10 this morning & haven't done that in years! Those 12-13 hr days for a week can make a person weary....

So, believe it or not, I did take my scale w/me & weighed myself twice. This morning is day 9 for me on P2 and I was so happy to see I'm down 6.8 lbs as I usually gain on those outreaches! The feed us 3 meals a day & many meals are loaded w/carbs!
I'm not sure how long I'll be able to last in this round- ha! I'd like to at least make it til the 16th.

So happy to see you all are hanging in there! I know people are reading our posts & being encouraged as I have done myself- Just not able to post. You were always on my mind as I took my gtts everyday! 😉

Pearly- glad to see you hanging on! Where do you live? I'm in OH & the last few days, esp, yesterday were brutal! Sun shining today!

Kar- moving on to P3 soon- good for you! I will try not to be to tempted by the smell of your bacon! 🐷

For all you other losers out there....

    STAY FOCUSED!! 😳

Babysitting in Athens now. Been a good day. I made it past 10,000 steps again w/a 2 & 4 year old! 😆 They sure are busy little guys! I had made up some food to sustain me thru the weekend. I try to be prepared more, but it doesn't always work out.

Keep going, Lovelies & Stay Focused- it will be so worth it! 😳💗

    Hello, Lovelies.
Gem, so glad you enjoyed your exercise!
I’m still slowly creeping down. That’s going to come to an abrupt end in a few days, as tomorrow is LDW. Not close to goal, but far away from where I started, so it’s all good.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend!

Home now. Had a great piece of steak & some asparagus- yum! I feel kinda drained today. Guess the kids & all the traveling in the past month + the diet is taking a toll on my bod! 🤔

Kar, I'll feel alone w/o another P2er or is someone else & I just lost track? At least the scale is creeping in the right direction- ha! 😉

Take care & stay focused, Lovelies! 😳

Gemgirl, I am just ahead of you on P2. Still going, but lost count of days. Power back on, but my schedule is still out of wack. We had a local deputy killed in the line of duty, and until recently, his family lived a few doors down from the family I nanny for. The kids all attended the school she teaches at, and 1 still does. Definitely heartbreaking for the whole community, and the teacher/mom I work for wants to attend the special memorial service planned this week. I couldn't say no to working an extra day so this could happen, even though I am not really up to it physically. I can push myself another week for something this important!

Today we are catching up on sheets and blankets that need washing, and finishing cleaning out the fridge (all our produce froze after the power outage - the fridge does NOT like running properly after running on the generator, but we can't afford to replace it.) It is now below the lowest setting, almost to off, and the freezer is all the way up. All the parts hubby can clean are clean, and all components test fine. Not sure what is wrong! In a few weeks we will need to defrost our supposedly frost-free extra freezer and reorganize it while it is mostly empty, but for now, I am feeling pretty good about being able to use what we have and not shop for much. I buy in bulk, so it's time to be creative and cook from what I have hand for the family. My hcg diet is too specific for that, so shopping for my needs will be a must regardless of the budget...

So, I have chicken breasts thawed that I need to grill. No produce, so I need to shop for vegetables and fruit on Tuesday. Tomorrow is my 16 hour work day plus commute, so no time for errands. I will drink 2 V-8's and hopefully grab an apple/orange from boss? I don't mind missing my fruit if I need to.

Weight loss for week 2 was NOTHING! Too much stress, but I am OK with no gain. Week 3 is going to be a good one! Here we go...
Hey, I'm Roni (Ronnie) I bought a ticket on the Onederland Express! Come along and enjoy the ride!

    Greetings, Lovelies.
Hang in there, Roni. Hopefully your refrigerator will behave soon. So great that you have had a generator with everything going on!
I bounced up 0.6 today for LDW. I was hungry late in the day yesterday, so I did eat more protein than usual. I'd rather bounce up than have a big drop on the last day, because it seems to keep me out of steak day territory (knock on wood). I also find it funny that I bounced up so that it's 11 pounds lost this round. I haven't lost more than 11 since my first round, no matter how long I go or how much I need to lose.
As the wise Ms. P. says.... Onward!
Hope everyone has a great day.

Wow, I feel great today! Ok, my scale hit the 150's today (158.6 to be exact) & I was a bit worried that I broke it! Ha! Haven't seen the 150's in over a year! I'm officially down 10.2 lbs on D12. I have my yearly Dr's appt today & I have to find something "light" to wear for my weigh in! 😁

Kar- that is so sweet of you to stay in touch during P3! I tend to try & stick w/everyone during all phases as 3 can sometimes be as hard on me as 2. I travel w/a ministry throughout the year & we put in 14-15 hr days & I just don't seem to find the time to post. I have read a few when we get in at night, but that's about it. We are leaving Sunday again & won't be back til Thurs. Real hard to stick to P2! I don't seem to lose alot each round lately either, but hope this time will be different!

Tight- Where do you live that your electricity goes off & on all the time? Calif? That would drive me crazy! Hang in there girlie! I know you must be discouraged with no loss, but I believe it's coming!

Happy losing everyone! Stay Focused! 😳

KUDOS to each and every one of you for staying the course and keeping on keeping on. I hope you can appreciate yourself and give yourself a hug for all of your hard work. Lots of people come around here, some to post, some to read, but a whole lot of them fall off the trail quickly. Auto correct tried to make that the TRIAL, which is not wrong, either!

This is not easy. We have a food-centric, carb-centric, sugar-centric society and eating differently than 95% of those around us is a major accomplishment, even if we are not 100% perfect all of the time. Even all the 'new' trendy ways to eat: paleo and keto particularily, seem to miss the mark health wise compared to P2- style losing and P3-style living. There are a lot of 'sugars' allowed in paleo that seem crazy to anyone who follows P3. Honey? Maple Syrup? Agave? They are lovely sugars, but the ARE sugars! Keto seems closer, but man, it is full of measurements, numbers, calculations...is it a diet or a math test? Just figuring it all out makes me need chocolate.

    So, YAY YOU! Lurkers included.

So, I didn't even get to change my ticker before it went back up to where it had been again. I was down 1.4 over the weekend... up 1.4 today! A lot of time, I think it is NOT a what have you done lately diet, but what did I do 2-3 days ago that is just showing up now? I was really pretty good over the weekend, but Friday was ... not so much... so I was super surprised to be down.4 on Saturday and down a pound on Sunday. Woops. There it is! Friday hit TODAY. LOL. Dang. Can't get away with nuthin!

Back to getting as clean as I can.

My current challenge, besides spending 12 hours each weekend day at the rehab with my Mom and only seeing my house long enough to sleep and change clothes, is that I am getting so I cant even look at chicken or turkey. I have OD'd on them both. Doesn't matter how they are prepared, I can't do them right now. I did a lot of burgers last week, but did them bun and all, which was not my usual thing, so not surprising I am bouncing up and down. I bought some fake crab legs (I know, they have carbs, but I seem to tolerate them well) to add to salads this week. I just need a change of pace. I packed lunches and dinners all week last week with baked chicken and sliced deli turkey and DIDN'T eat what I packed most of the time. Spent too much money on fast food when starving.

So, trying to do something different. This is soup season, and I usually love making my own soups, but just do not have time or bandwidth to make or even eat soup right now.

    Onward!
