    Vlcd1 - 195.4 (4.4 above LDW)

Doing a second round. I feel i did well in p3 yet ready for another round to drop another 20-25. My goal is 170. Ultimately, i would like to get to 160 but that might be too low due to my height if 5í9Ē. I may look too thin there. My lowest in the last 15 years has been 165.

I loaded on lots of good stuff- avocado, fage, bacon, kielbasa, eggs, butter, cheese, sour cream and coconut oil. Did a few bullet proof coffees which i LOVE. I did eat some chocolate cake and ice cream. Wonít miss those as much as cheese and meat and crispy salty snacks.

I feel good, energy good. Here we go!

I have not got caught up on posts still i hope you are all doing great! Letís do this!

Welcome back to P2 Natalie! That sounds like a DELICIOUS load!

P2D28 No loss today, but my face is a little swollen from the trauma of 4 rounds of shots to get and stay numb yesterday, plus 3 hours at the dentist and 2 hours in the car caused inflammation all over I am sure. I am also having a harder time breathing today because our air is SO thick with smoke and ash. I am allergic to smoke, so I pulled out my inhaler and have been using it. Already on 5 daily 24-hr antihistamines plus rx antihistimine eye drops. Even have my old epi-pen out. For some reason, I can't find my new one that came in the mail last month. Going to have to find that asap, even though I hope I never need it.

I am starting to think of P3 foods, but keep redirecting my thoughts because I am still over 2 weeks away by my estimates of doses left in the vial... P3 is my favorite part of the round! Especially since with my fluid/electrolyte issues, I don't usually do correction days, but just allow my body to rebalance unless a gain stays for a few days even with my normal treatment for fluid imbalance... I have learned SO much about food sensitivities from P3/P4, and now know most of what I can stabilize well with and when to re-introduce them, so I feel confident about it. I am just so excited about how well this round is going. Part of me wants that fast forward button to see the end results of the round, but I am truly enjoying the journey! I haven't had a true stall, and the losses have been more linear than in past rounds. I am sold on the rx injections so far...

Finally was able to log in and start my online Adult/Child/Infant First Aid/CPR/AED course today. I have to complete the online portion before attending the in person skills training/testing on Saturday, so I was getting concerned about the IT issues. A lot of the problem has been our internet service (TOO SLOW) and then the power shutoff damaging our surge protector, so everything had to be moved, and there was a setting that wasn't right when something was reset. All good now. Our son (who pays for the home wi-fi) agreed in advance to ensure nothing would update or download for the next two days while he is at work, and our daughter set up a clear window in her Mandarin lesson/chats from noon to four today and tomorrow so that I have dedicated wi-fi, and I barely have enough bandwidth for the modules to load and play. I completely understand now how frustrated a lot of parents in my area are because of distance learning, and many have more than one child trying to share their limited bandwidth! We actually have some of the best available wifi in our area... hehe... part of living here, but I would normally just attend an all day in person CPR class. COVID has changed so many things. My frustration with this is NOTHING compared to how COVID has affected so many.
I am Roni (Ronnie) I am finally giving REAL RX HCG INJECTIONS "A SHOT"

A lot depends on th proportions of your body and the sizes you wear at a certain weight. I'm 5'10, but my problem areas when I gain weight are always my boobs and arms.

When I get down into the mid 140s I wear size 2 in pants and dresses. In the 150s, I'm size 4. In the upper 160s I'm size 6. What are your problem areas with the most fat distribution, and what clothing sizes do you wear at the various weights?

    Good morning all,

Sorry to everyone in California with the fires and power outages. With any little spark being able to start a fire it really sucks that it has to be done and is inconvenient but could really save a lot of damage in the end.

Female patients are definitely biased against in the medical field which is crazy seeing as how the field seems female dominant. Women are seen as histrionic when they voice their complaints and are more likely to be subdued and not clearly voice the extent of their problems because they don't want to be labeled as "a burden" or "a problem". Don't let anyone gaslight you, if you have something going on that is not normal for you, raise hell. Keep watch over everything and be your own advocate. I don't think it's because medical personnel don't care, it's a world of seeing the freaking worst, being pulled in a million different directions, answering to 4 billion accrediting and insurance agencies and being told you are not working hard/fast enough, ever. It's a broken system.

My weight has been yoyoing the last few days. I hit 178.1, then 178.4 then yesterday 179.1 then today back to 178.4. I hope I am in the 177 range tomorrow. Cut out my fruits and a Melba yesterday and ate some extra protein. My dreams of a short round are swirling down the drain lol. Goal weight is 160, I think today is vlcd11. Not sure if another 18 lbs is possible in another 30-35 days at this point. I'd be happy at 165. I'd probably be back to a tight size 8 at that point.

Anyways, hope everyone is doing well. The air conditioner has been broken in this hospital I've been working at for the last few weeks and they are shutting everything down and pushing all the hot air out this morning so between my scrubs, lab coat, mask and gloves I might die. I don't know how you guys get the hcg chills I wish that was a thing for me!

Natalie you had a great round. Congrats! I am still P4 day 100 today and last couple of days i am up but still comfortably below LIW...just not creeping down as i was. I am suspecting drinking less water has been a factor. Calorie wise staying fine..just probably too much sodium.
I am 77 years old and when much younger i focused on dress size.... i think it is not important today but rather how you feel in your clothes whatever size you are. Manufacturers today have catered to womens obsession with sizing and conveniently made sizes (2, 4, 6) larger in measurements than they were 40 years ago To keep women happy. Lol.

I have not been checking into forum daily as i work every day and do not have much exciting to contribute, Happy for all that are on HCG as it is the best way to get eating habits under control. Even if i have to get creeping lbs off once every year or two with short rounds i am ok with that,

    Much success everyone,

Beachy, I just take a single dose in the morning. I haven’t really read any thyroid specific books, just the usual wheat belly, grain brain..all of those which touch on how bad gluten is so I’m reminded that it’s also really bad for us and not to eat it. Keep track of all of that so you can let your Dr. know so she can adjust as needed for you. It took me about 6 months to get on the right dose for me with a few adjustments over the years. If I think of any books I will let you know

Jessie, you are crushing the 1st week! Great losses!

Natalie, Our goals are very similar! I’d like to be around 165-170 by Christmas after R3 (I’m on R2) then after my races are over do a R4 and lose 15 more by the summer for an ultimate 155. Of course this all assumes I will maintain my LIW...LOL

Emily, I think jumping around the scale seems to be common before a big drop..so hoping you get a big drop tomorrow Maybe even skip 177 all together! Thank you for working on the front lines of this madness. And now without A/C..Bless you!!!

Roselanoue, you are really inspiring me with your success! I hope I can have the perseverance to maintain like you are!

Tightwad, navigating all the changes due to Covid isn’t easy and definitely frustrating. I hope you are feeling better today. P.S. I hate the dentist..strong word “hate” but yep, hate the dentist.

AFM…VLCD 7 and plugging along slowly getting down to my LIW from R1. 2 pounds to go and then I’ll 1) be at LIW and 2) everything after that will be lower than I weighed in January 2020. Small goals add up to big results is my mantra right now. So happy tomorrow is Friday!

Thank you Maxi. Went down to 177.4 today so down a pound from yesterday! Maybe tomorrow 176? I will be off Saturday and Sunday which always makes food a little more accessible but it makes water more accessible as well which I struggle with during the week at work. I've noticed I don't pee a single time at work which is kind of nice because I have to take off all my PPE, walk up a flight of stairs and across the building since they have our break room and bathroom blocked to work on the AC.

Hope everyone is doing well, I am 1/4 of the way through my round and feeling good.

Roughly 16 pounds this first week.

Iím prepared for the wave but wanted to drop this infographic-meme as a reminder. HCG really accelerates loss but the laws of weigh loss still remain the same. Itís up down not a straight line from day to day. But when plotting the points itís the trajectory!

    TGIF!
