    Hello Everyone,

Haven't checked in since the birthday on Monday. The key lime pie was great and I had no issues.

Yesterday was P4D6, I woke up and was 4 lb. over LIW. On Wednesday I must have had too many pecans (the first nuts I've had this round). Since Steak Days don't work for me, I just went ahead and had a homemade Cappuccino w/HWC and sugar free whipped cream topping at breakfast. drank a lot of water all day, then at dinner time had a Jay Robb Whey Protein Shake with Frozen Pineapple Chunks mixed in. I also took an Epsom Salt Bath. Voila - I'm back down by 3.4 today.

I’m prepared for the wave but wanted to drop this infographic-meme as a reminder. HCG really accelerates loss but the laws of weigh loss still remain the same. It’s up down not a straight line from day to day. But when plotting the points it’s the trajectory!

    TGIF!
    Isn't that the truth!

Today I am same as yesterday in weight. I had to conduct a Zoom interview at 7:30am and since I was up earlier than usual I forgot to take my shot, so guess today is a skip day, LOL. I don't usually do skip days but maybe I will start in case I decide to go past 30 days and do a full round. It's been a long time since I did more than 35 shot days.

I can not be trusted on a PI. Not right now at least. I took on a crisis situation with a friend and didnt eat all day the first two days then we went to dinner and I had chips and artichoke dip last night. Up a pound. Then today we had lunch at this amazing Mexican restaurant by the courthouse and I burned it all down. The homemade tortillas were fluffy and staring at me. So tomorrow will be a steak day and then again on Sunday and I will roll back into a new round.
I am taking on someone elses awful stress and need to focus. I feel really yucky after all the chips and rice and tortillas. Lesson learned.

Way to go powered, sounds like you enjoyed yourself and it didn't effect you negatively.

Today was rough and even though I don't eat perfectly on protocol (I eat a lot of broccoli and cauliflower rice, drink broth) today I had about 1/5 of a cup of cheese and a quest low carb protein bar. Just put my calories into MFP and I'm still around 600 calories. Hopefully I don't stall out too badly.

    Star Date P2
    Day 9

Things are getting hard... In the depth of space you expect to see losses... But not like these... Theyre going backwards... Bones...

Im a Diet Jim... Not an downward only elevator!!!

Weighed in a smidge up. So begins thee ol up down, up down! I remember the same challenge before. The, cant see the forest from the treeitisms!

Another strict plan day. Scallops and cabbage for lunch and then uh lotta meal prep today and tomorrow. BBQ chicken! Nom. Wifey hooked up a nice chicken marinade - mustard, rosemary, salt, garlic, pepper for the week. Love the mindlessness of prep and premeasure so I can just enjoy. Hi, I posted this in Leez's group. Reposting here as it seems the more active one.

Wanted to check in and talk about my P2 experience. Technically a R1 as the last, and only, one I did before was about 7 years ago.

I had always used exercise for weight control and knew it would bite me in the rear someday. It did when I became sedentary due to a 2-year battle with my insurance company to get a hip replacement while in too much pain to move except when absolutely necessary. At the same time my thyroid took a dump so, between the two, I gained 30 lbs in 2 years.

Lived in yoga pants as the only thing that would fit me.

Anyway, did Intermountain pellets for 45 days (P2). I 'only' lost 15 lbs but they are solid ones, as I lost 5 lbs in June before starting HCG July 3 (first load day.)

    So I'm calling it a 20 lb loss :-)

I would have lost more but I ate a little more than 500 calories, albeit in allowed foods, mostly extra protein. I was ok with that as I recently bought a house that had been long neglected inside and out and am doing a lot of heavy lifting, painting and yard work. The first week at 500 cal, I would get dizzy going up and down a ladder trimming tree branches. (Who knew buying a house was basically signing up to be a farm hand.) I'm also 66.

I knew about inflammatory water retention as a life-long gym rat but now I was able to track it more closely with my daily weigh-ins and weight log vis a vis what I had been doing the day before and how sore my muscles were. Constipation was also an annoyance because it would cause the scale to sit at the same number.

I'm now starting P3 and going to pay attention more than I did last time as I think that's where I went wrong re stablilizing.

I'm at the halfway point weight-wise but happy to stabilize here for a while before starting another round in 6 weeks.

Anyway, that's my story. Hope it encourages anyone just getting started on their first round.

My name is Miss Cast and I approve this message :-)

    Welcome Miss and Jessie.

I was down 1.1 lbs today and all I could think about this morning was donuts. I went to the grocery store and it was torture. I did not buy the donuts but ended up getting some egg whites and made some egg whites, tomato and spinach for breakfast. I need to eat sooner in the day, I try to push it off as long as possible but I was straight hangry today.

Tomorrow starts week 3, I made a list of questions for myself when I get to the end of 21 days or this vial which I think will be about 30 days on whether to mix up the second vile and keep going or whether to take a break.

Hi everyone i am on vlcd6 and using the nuimage injection with the Lipo/b12 upgrade. I am doing great and feeling energy and not a lot of hunger, except at mealtimes. However, I am not sleeping great. My previous experience with Hcg, I did a few rounds with drops and slept awesome. One round with injections (no Lipo/b12) and slept normal. Im just wondering if anyone else has had this experience and if so, what did you do to help w the sleep? I did an epsom salt/baking soda bath last night that was relaxing and helped a little bit still woke up a lot and felt pretty wide awake. Thanks everyone! Keep up the great work!!

Sleep is a tough challenge on HCG. I find it is my head primarily with racing thoughts on multiple items. Ive taken something HCG Chica recommended called Phosphatidylserine. It does help to get me to sleep. I double dose before bedtime (2 pills 2 hrs before bed) and then take one at bedtime. It does help a bit.
