Thread: Lovely Losers 2020 - Absolutely Active in AUGUST!!

  1. #49
Hi everyone - Iím Catherine. I have had success with this program in the past and am going to start another round. Should be getting my hcg on Monday. My problem last round was that I moved into p3 just as we were moving into quarantine and I was not successful ďcementingĒ the losses. So I want to do it again. I hope this forum is both a support and a motivation for me. I want to be that for you all too. Thanks!

Hi Catherine, welcome! This is an awesome and supportive group of women. Iím no stranger to HCG and it works itís just what you do after that counts. After a series of life events I allowed myself to balloon. My mother died, I had a brain aneurysm and just kept making excuses. I also got sober in November and that alone helped me to drop 20 lbs.

I am on vlcd16 and am down 15.2 lbs. I just ordered another batch from nuimage and will go for 43 days. Hoping to drop 30. We shall see.

Jump on in and keep updating!

Thanks for the welcome & congrats on overcoming so many obstacles. That is awesome.
Stabilizing is what I struggle with most, so I need to make that my priority.

I was the same today. Gonna do an inflammation smoothie today. They were selling roasted hatch green chilies today and I bought them and am sure they arenít protocol but they smelled so good. I have a ton and will give some away and maybe see if I can cut them up and freeze them.

    How is everyoneís weekend?

mmm.... we have a market that roasts and sells hatch chilies seasonally too. I always buy a bunch, peel, de-seed and freeze to make my favorite chile relleno casserole later. But that is definitely not on protocol.

But tomatoes are. At least those in P2 right now can enjoy the wonderfulness of garden tomatoes. Hope everyone is doing well!

I haven't posted for several days. I was busy, and when I wasn't, it was because I was in bed with a migraine. My feast on beef did not go as well as poweredbystarbucks! Up 2.6 pounds a few days ago from pigging out on it. For the first time this round, I ate completely off protocol. Not because I bent the rules slightly by adding a rogue vegetable, but because of the enormous amount of protein I ate over a two hour period. It was like I just could not stop (and didn't really care at the time, which is what scares me more - old habit needs to be changed!)

It took 2 days to get back to my previous 243, and today I lost another .4, so today (P2D18), I am down 17.4.

Today has been a great day, and I have spent a lot of it in the ladies' room, so I expect a good loss tomorrow.

Great to see another new "face" in our P2 crowd. Welcome Catherine! We look forward to seeing your posts and getting to know you. This is a great group for support. With the NuImage sale of short-dated hcg, I expect we will get much more busy soon...

    Good morning all,

VLCD1 for me. I don't think I did awesome at loading and feel a little hungry this morning. Having my strawberries and black coffee for a snack.

I am starting at 187. I haven't been this heavy in years and I really hope I can get some of this off as my clothes don't fit, but I don't want to buy a bigger size because I don't want to stay at this weight. Sigh. I started a new job last week and the uniform is different so I am making do with what I can.

Anyways. I don't think I prepped too well for this but I think that might be for the better. Hit the store last night and got some chicken and steak and broccoli. I don't remember if broccoli was on the approved list but I think it's a low GI veggie. I have honestly thought about tracking my food but not weighing in every day. Anyone do that? I just don't want to be obsessed with the number if I'm doing everything perfectly....

    Thoughts?

Weekend madness with way too much sugar and off p3 protocol food. Was with my boys all weekend and kind of just splurged on whatever i wanted.

Even though i work today, gonna do a steak day. I live close enough that i can run home and cook up a steak and eat it before group starts tonight.

Will be a long day today and Iíll be training on data entry for treatment plans and such. Loving my job still Iíve got a lot to learn. Glad i can put my psych degree to use!

Going to weigh myself here in a minute. Ugh.

Welcome new faces! Good luck everyone!

Emily, Broccoli is not on the OP (Original Protocol), but many do fine with it. I use mushrooms, broccoli and cauliflower myself. Those are my only rogue vegetables.

The first week losses are going to be amazing. Weigh in if it will be motivating to help you over what for me is the difficult first 4-5 days. Once the losses slow down, it may help to weigh less often. The important thing is to stay on protocol. If you eat clean an get your water in, the weight will come off. It is not always linear, and that does stress so many of us out, so not weighing daily in P2 is an option. I weigh most days, but just try to focus on the total loss and I also take my measurements weekly. Keeping a journal and noting your non-scale victories is another way to keep the focus off the scale, and to really "make your mind over" so that you can maintain your losses after your round.

Good morning everyone! P2D19 and I hit a big milestone for the round this morning... 20 pounds down! Woke up to a 2.6 pound loss and that puts me at 240. Tomorrow I hope to be back in the 230's, where I will probably spend a while. 235 was my "set weight" many times over the last 10 years. It seems to be where I settle back to when I eat clean and am NOT on hcg. 250-270 is where I go when I don't care what or how much I eat (EEK!)

We had an incredible weekend with a zoom lunch with family in Arizona. My in-laws are not tech-savvy, but they are learning. My sister-in-law and her daughter joined in and the four of us were all home. I made sub sandwiches for the gang here and the guys passed around chips. I had my chicken and sliced cucumbers, which I shared with daughter as the chips had dairy. Simple, yet fun. I also was not tempted when making the sandwiches, but I did have hubby slice the cheese the night before because I was feeling weak and cheese is one of my 3 favorite foods!

Today is laundry day. Catching up still now that hubby was able to repair the machine with the parts that arrived after a week of waiting. I will check back in later...

Dang. I already am off protocol lol. I don't see how anything green and low sugar could be bad though so I won't be stressing about it.

Thanks for your thoughts on the scale tightwad, great job on your loses. I haven't decided what to do yet.
