LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - Absolutely Amazing in APRIL!!!!

    Perhaps Coco is social-media-distancing...

Here's our new thread for APRIL 2020!

Our ABSOLUTELY AMAZING group has been starting new threads every month for several years to prevent people from having to sort through literally thousands of old posts, and making it easier for new people to join.

Each new thread is called “Lovely Losers” + something or other (hopefully clever, witty or inspiring)!

Although we call ourselves "Lovely Losers" - 'cause that's what we are! – everyone is welcome, including Lively Lads!

    Please note:
We are all in different phases of HCG & we all use different methods of HCG.
What is right for YOU, is right for YOU and we respect that. We don’t judge.
MOST importantly, while we can be a little naughty (with humor!) we are always NICE to each other!!

So whether you are just starting, finishing, or somewhere in between . . . YOU ARE WELCOME!!!!

    Hi everyone!

Savannah - if I was burning out and the scale wasn't budging, I would take a PI and come back to finish my round down to goal. I believe the rule is if you keep it under two weeks you don't have to reload.

Rose - I think four pounds is doable. Good luck!

AFM - I have been so busy since the shutdown and finding it hard to get on here and update. I'm getting a lot of extra things done, though! Yesterday I was down .6 which cleared away the rest of that two day gain. Today I am down 2.2 and feel like I could rebound from it. It seems this round has been two steps down, one step up, two steps down. I hope not, though! So I am down 8.2 pounds in the last nine days. I am happy with that! Now if the scale could just keep going in the right direction.

    Happy April to everyone!

    Thank you Coffeegirl!

Today, I was the same as yesterday. I got plenty of exercise yesterday including over 7 miles of exercise in the yard cleaning up diseased trees in my acreage. I overdid it yesterday and Iím in a lot of pain in my left shoulder/neck area. My left knee is bothering me too. Iíve got a bit of inflammation, but I wake up determined to push through and until the end.

It's quiet in here. Hope everyone is doing well!

Down .8 so I was able to keep my loss yesterday. I was thinking about those gain days and realized I had moved furniture the day before the first gain and was sore for a few days. Now I think it might be the reason. Big losses usually don't happen in my second week, but if I had inflammation then it would make sense. It will be interesting to see how this round turns out.

LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - Absolutely Amazing in APRIL!!!!

    Itís Friday!

I woke up with a ton of pain in my shoulder from the tree work Wednesday. Iím down a pound and broke the 150 plateau and today is my skip day. Im feeling a bit run down lately and I just need a break from the ultra strict eating. I am going to follow suit with Rosey and RoseLou and start a PI beginning Sunday. Iím going to draw up the rest of my HCG into syringes to assure that I they stay fresh. My PI will last 8-9 days and then Iíll jump back on. Since Iíve skipped a day each week, Iíve injected 25 days allowing me 15 days to lose the last 4-7 lbs. This will be my first PI, and I pray it doesnít blow up in my face. I will never know unless I try it out. I honestly am ok with my weight now at 5í11. The last pounds would just be for vanity, but thereís definitely still abnormal fat to lose in my thighs.

Happy TGIF all! Gosh, this is a weird side effect of this social distancing. I am losing track of what day of the week it is. We used to have Taco Tuesday and have 5 - 8 people over for dinner. They would help me cook whatever we had decided for dinner. Then we would have Bloody Mary Sunday with the same group, more or less. It included dinner as well. Now, it's just me and DH every night and I get to choose and cook dinner. I mean, I LOVE HIM dearly, but it's nice to have others around now and then... OK, off my b*@ching soapbox.

Kar - Great to hear that you're holding steady in P3. Good going and keep up the good work.

Savannah - Do what you need to do. Our sanity is worth it!

coffeegirl - Glad you were able to identify what caused the gain. Moving furniture sounds like an extreme workout to me. Thankfully when we moved our last batch of furniture I was neither in a round nor weighing every day.

RoseL - A PI might be good right now. Glad you're getting some good advice. You've done a good job in this round already!

Coco - Welcome back from your social distancing exercise. I Totally get what you mean.

AFM: Steady as she goes... Woke up last night around midnight to a power outage. Apparently (we found out this morning) a 20-something lost control of his SUV about a quarter of a mile down the road and took out a power pole before going though a fence, some trees, and ending up on the roof. Thankfully, he is OK. We got our power back about 10am. Good thing, because all of our heat sources are electric. Even the propane fireplace needs electricity to run the fan and to light. DH hooked the generator up to our internet feed and I worked on my laptop on battery power until the power came back on. By that time, it had gotten down to 59 degrees in my office. Brrrrr. I think it was actually colder inside than outside at that point!

On a really positive note - folks around here are so compassionate and kind! We had a worker come today to pour a cement pad for some stairs we're planning to install. He generously gave us 5 of his N-95 masks for us to use when we have to go to town. We didn't even ask, he just offered! Isn't that sweet?

Anyway, have a great weekend everyone!

    Morning Lovelies!

A quick check in. Iím down 0.4 lbs and 5 from goal. Iíve skipped my second injection and going forward with my PI and will resume my VLCD eating after Easter.

My shoulder is still hurting pretty bad. I canít turn my head to the left without it getting really bad. I need to get well and enjoy some gilling next weekend to celebrate a lock down Easter and then Iíll jump back on to the VLC eating.

today down 12 lbs from start weight 13.2 lbs from load weight. Today is vlcd 26 I have 8 more lbs to goal. I will make final decision on Tuesday whether i transition to P3 or just mix another batch now and keep going to get 40 days vlcd. Since i am having no difficulties with this round i am inclined to go ahead and see it thru for 40 injections and live with whatever weight i reach which i believe will be close enough to goal to make me happy Dropping another 6 lbs would be a worthy place for me to end the round

Hello everyone! It's day 9 of VLCD P2 for me, and so far I am down 6 lbs from starting weight, 9 lbs from loading weight. I am really happy with how well this is going! It is amazing to literally see and feel changes every day. That big chunk of love handle is now a little chunk. Truly amazing. I am doing good with the no hunger and decent energy.

Some other positives - my sense of smell has greatly improved! I have no stuffed nose or post nasal drip and my skin and eyes are super clear. This tells me that there is something in my previous diet I probably have a food sensitivity to, so this elimination diet is a great opportunity to slowly add items back in and see what I should not be eating. I am really happy for this opportunity.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Covid-19 cases are starting to peak here in CT which is good - that means cases will start to go down soon right? That means we are getting closer to this being over.
