Some other positives - my sense of smell has greatly improved! I have no stuffed nose or post nasal drip and my skin and eyes are super clear. This tells me that there is something in my previous diet I probably have a food sensitivity to, so this elimination diet is a great opportunity to slowly add items back in and see what I should not be eating. I am really happy for this opportunity.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Covid-19 cases are starting to peak here in CT which is good - that means cases will start to go down soon right? That means we are getting closer to this being over.
Conrats Tguch On a great round so far. Very substantial losses. As for me same as yesterday vlcd 27 Looks like i only have enough hcg for one or two more injections Then going to mix more for another 10 days

Hello.. I'm new to this forum. I see people say that they skip one day a week of their injections. I wasn't told to do that, should I be?

The skipping is an attempt to a) stop hcg from building up in your body to help lessen immunity in Rx HCG and b) extend your round as you shouldnít take more than 40 diesel per round. These are my reasons. Someone else can fill in if Iím missing something.

    Hi Missy,
If you are planning a long round (40 dose days) you should skip one day a week. It helps protect your from developing immunity to the HCG.

If you are planning a shorter round (30 days or less) you don't need to skip.

    Good Morning Lovelies,

HI Leez! Nice to "see" you.

I have given up trying to find a good chunk of time and will instead post now and read back later. It seems every time I sit down to read back and post something requires my immediate attention, what a busy couple of days. This weekend I had too much fun food, and normal P4 food, so today I am up a pound. Welcome to careful day, where I cut back and eat cleaner.

I am now going to break up with my new love, Unsalted Mixed Nuts. We have spent way too much time together, it is affecting me badly, "it's not you, it's me". I am kicking the jar to the curb, and out of the happy quarantine zone.

I hope everyone has a day of great losses! I am going to pick up some half and half in case a steak day is looming!
    More Later!
    Fondly,
    RK

    Good morning lovelies!

Today is day 2 of PI. Yesterday I had sated mushrooms and onions with my eggs and a T-bone steak, and avocado on my salad along with oil and vinegar and Iím 0.8 lbs under LIW from Thursday. As of today, Iím quite happy with the decision to try a PI. Iím hoping to stay here through Sunday of next week before finishing up my round another 15 days or losing 5-7 more pounds (whichever comes first) come Monday or Tuesday.

The rain weíve had has been helpful in not overusing my left shoulder and trying to let heal. It hasnít changed too much and Iím praying itís not a true injury and just needs some rest. Now is not the time to be at hospitals or doctor offices.

    Mornin' all.

Notice I didn't say "good" morning.

The thing I hate about P3 is you can be doing great for 2 weeks and all of the sudden shoot up to 3 pounds over LDW.

So today is P3D16 for me and it's going to be some sort of a correction day. I don't think I can get a hold of a steak and an apple before chewing on the furniture, so this will be interesting. I have heard success stories with "egg days" and have plenty of those on hand, so I might give that a try.

Late yesterday I had a feeling this would happen. I was starving so I kept eating. All my food was P3-friendly, but I did eat more than usual. And I consciously thought it could put me over the 2 pound window. And I was still freakin starving. And I feel like I should have had some smooth move tea last night. (sorry - TMI) And I didn't sleep well.

    ONWARD!

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Good morning Lovelies!

Just checking in -- just because... Nothing new to report. Still here - still healthy. So, that's a good thing. How is everyone else?

Kar - I wonder why you're so hungry all of a sudden... One of the things I have liked after this diet is that if I nibble on some sort of fat bomb when I start to get a little hungry (think 1/2 an avocado or some macadamia nuts) I am satiated and can easily make it to my next real meal. Sorry for your gain. Hope your correction day gets you back on track.

RoseL - Wishing you well on your extended round.

JessieB - Hi! Good to see you're still around and doing well. I postponed my planned round due to being worried about availability of P2 foods and worry about getting sick too. Fortunately not involved in home-schooling! I salute those of you doing that - wow!

Savannah - How's the shoulder today? Sounds like PI is going well. More food should help the shoulder heal.

RK - An idea... Try to figure out which one of the Mixed Nuts is the culprit. It might be that you're just sensitive to one of them and don't have to break up with the entire food group.

Everyone else - Keep up the good work and losing or maintaining and have a Great Day!

    Good Morning Lovelies,

It's a rainy day here, and frustratingly enough, the roof is leaking right where my roofer assured me last month that it was just splash back from the gutters...So awaiting a social distancing house call from the roofer...grrrrr. Humming Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head...

Savannah: great job on PI. Hope your shoulder is better. Rest and Naprosyn is my solution... Maybe an epsom salt bath?

Jessie: I don't blame you for postponing the round. It must be so hard to home school!

Roselanoue: Good luck on the rest of your round! I hope you get to your goal!

Kar: Good luck with your correction day. I know Leez did a post on alternate correction days, and I look forward to seeing your results. Sometimes I notice that sweets make me hungry. Fat seems to calm things down for me.

LinderLou: Glad to read that you are doing well and staying in your window. Yes! Great idea to see which nuts are the culprit. I suspect cashews, since I cleared almonds...or maybe pecans?

AFM: Today I am up too much. Hard to say how much as my digestive system has been sluggish. So I am doing a steak day today, because I feel very nervous about how much of the weight increase is real... No steak here, but leftover tri tip and I will make some coco crack to make up for any needed fat. I am just nervous as yesterday I made a cake with the family, and we all know about my nuts issue ha ha. Also, my daughter made some very salty curry, so it can all be contributing. I will wait a few days post steak day and see which nuts are the culprit. Thanks Linderlou you are so smart! Great idea!

Have a great day Lovelies and Keep losing!

    Fondly,
    RK
