Good Morning Lovelies and Happy weekend,

Ashley, the hardest thing for me is sweets and when I have to entertain clients for work. I find I have to call the restaurant ahead and really pre-plan food with the on line menu. Also, I find sugar free gum is a really good crutch. Especially after meals or when I am baking for others. I like P2 because I KNOW what to eat and do. P3 is much harder for me. Learning a new language sounds so fun!

Twabell those are some great tips! Nice hearing what everyone else is eating.

Mo55: I recently figured out that I am about 1760 calories when I am maintaining and I won't gain. So my long term skinny friend said, figure out what that is a week (1760 X 7), and if you have a high calorie day one day, make up for it with a low calorie day for the next 2 days.

Pearly: Great job on the woosh! I am also bouncing up and down. So your woosh is inspiring. I understand that this job stuff sucks. I hope you find a wonderful new job!

Gem: I would wait the minimum time. I hav done extra long rounds with no problems, but I find it really is important for my best results to wait between rounds...

LinderLou: I always love to hear that you are maintaining and doing well. Please keep checking in, it's inspiring, and we hope for your continued success.

Jessie: welcome back and hope your hubby is doing great on his recovery.

AFM: Sadly, I am still bouncing around the same weight. No gain, no loss. I think my body is in shock ha ha but I am losing inches. My parents (91 and 88) are really keeping me busy and it is very hard. Hope everyone is doing great and have a wonderful weekend.

    Fondly,
    RK

Great strategy from your long term skinny friend. I admit Iíve been a bit rebellious toward counting calories. I just donít want to get sucked into ďhyper calorie watchingĒ for life. But the reality is having a calorie range and staying within it is important whether I like it or not. Lol. I love the suggestion of doing 2 makeup days after a high calorie day. . Adding that one to the toolbox.

Hang in there with your parents.

Rk, that is a brilliant piece of intel. And I have to say, the best advice is always elegantly simple. I, like Jessie, am going to put that in my toolbox!

rkthin, I’m at the same weight today as yesterday. Boo. It’s depressing after amazing losses the other days. And now we’re going out to dinner so I’m afraid for tomorrow! I’m just going to stick with grilled meat and salad!

Today is VLCD5 for me and I woke to find Iím the EXACT same weight as yesterday. Itís a major bummer. Ugh.

Tonight my family is going out to eat at a Japanese restaurant. Iím really stressed. Iím thinking Iíll get the grilled teriyaki chicken and ask for no teriyaki sauce, and then just eat half the meat, and then get a salad, hold the dressing. Ugh. Iím tomorrow may be more bad news!

We donít even notice the Super Bowl, so no temptation there. Other than that, things are going pretty good!

I am on VLCD30. I am excited that I have lost about 15 pounds, but am having a really, really hard time wrapping my mind around two more weeks. I actually just remixed a new batch for injections this a.m. and have spent he whole day regretting it. I will see how I feel tomorrow, but I am getting antsy to just be more normal again, eat with my family, and focus on a strict P3. Hopefully my desire to lose at least more pounds will keep me going but weekends are very difficult on this protocol. Any tips or success stories for big losses in the last two weeks would be much appreciated!

Mo! Thank you for your words of encouragement! I needed that! My hubby snapped @ me today (knees are hurting more today) & my feathers got all ruffled & I was going to tell him to get a new sitter! We are in "silent mode" right now which is a good thing because he was a real Butt to me! Yes, he's been Focused on that knee & so have I, oh my!
Linder, yes I did so well for so long...grrrr... the gal who brought a scale with her on vacation!
Thank you all (Pearlie, Jessie, rk, etc.) for being such an inspiration for all of us Lovelies!

👊 ok, I'm ready now! And to psych myself up again....😁

Your in a tough spot. At times like this it helps me to reach in and do a 10 day count down. After tomorrows injection your in the single digits with only 9 more injections and just one more weekend to get through. Total loss of 20 lbs and no regrets. Either way you go 30 or 40 day round is success.
