Look at you Linder Lou with the toe ring! You are one snazzy broad.
Appreciate the good vibes, RK! I can't imagine doing this alone without the support of y'all.

I'm in the front car of this weird roller coaster ride. Woke up to, not a whoosh, but a 1.2 pound gain. I was pop for 2.0 and I think sodium was the culprit. I had celery wrapped in organic chicken slices last night, also ate at 8pm - very late for me. The chicken had no additives except sea salt and I think that did me in. All the food I typically eat has no salt unless I add in my pink stuff. Anyway, I'm blaming THAT.

Well, I guess this means my shoes will fit today...

    Hi ladies!

I just caught up with everyone. Sounds like a mostly good week for everyone! Welcome to everyone new. RK I’m so happy to hear your dad is doing better!!!

Sorry for the radio silence. Long week of work and babies and nothing much to report. Very slow weight loss week, a few days of stalls. But I’m on VLCD15 and down 10.4 lbs today!!! My goal weight is 8.6 more pounds. Can I do it? Haha. We shall see. But I think I can!!!! Pre pregnancy weight I’m coming for you!!!!!! My youngest is TWO lol it’s time!!!

I finished my book, The Power of Habit. So interesting!!! I have a long history of emotional eating. Sad, bored, mad, etc. EAT. I think my big take away from the book is resetting my habits of emotional eating and having IN PLACE alternatives. So “goal” is if I notice a trigger to make myself a cup of tea and if that doesn’t do it an apple with cinnamon. Back ups being a smoothie and protein shake. No garbage! I turn 40 in September and my goal is to be in the best shape of my life. Lofty but I’m tired of whining about my weight and not doing anything about it. So I’m going for a whole lifestyle makeover right now. Before I met my husband (19 years ago) I never thought about food. It was fuel and that was it. So I know this was a learned behavior. Which means I can UNlearn it too! So many layers of life have happened since I was 20 hahaha. I’m just over here digging through the attic of my brain trying to recognize habits and rearrange them.

Does anyone have any experience working out in P3? I’m thinking of adding some body exercises nothing crazy. I have a week long trip in the end of March I’m concerned about and a 2 week trip the end of April that I’m REALLY worried about. Haha. Trying to start planning how I can stay on track while vacationing with good friends who like to eat out and drink. Must. Not. Crack. LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - FEELIN' FINE in FEBRUARY!!!!

    Have a great weekend everyone!!!

    Happy Saturday Lovelies,

Tracy and Mama, salt always does me in! I don’t cook with much salt, usually no salt and so salty food can really cause a gain for me.Tracy eating late can show up on the scale as a phantom gain too, so just hang in there.

I believe people stabilize better in P3 with just walking, and continueing what is normal for you. Once I went hard at exercising in P3, it really screwed me up. So now I am waiting until P4 to become a gym girl.

AFM: last night was a P3 slip and skid at the cocktail dinner party. I ate the shrimp, beef and ahi as well as one oily marinated artichokes and some bruschetta topping. A glass of Cabernet and 3 bites of dessert. More food than I have had at P3 day 3 so today I am up .8 lbs. I blame the salt! Today I will be careful as tonight is my favorite Italian joint and they make great ciopinno. But no bread and I will try to hold the wine!

Also, I find a cup of herb tea very satisfying now vs. emotional eating. It’s a new habit. Good work. I also stay away from the kitchen!

Ok salt challenged buddies! Hang in there! We are going for the win!Together!

    Fondly,
    RK

RK, my tea basket is like a little pharmacy. Our office was recently gifted some Wise Ape tea (a NJ org, look them up - awesome company) and I "borrowed" the nighttime tea for home, it's an orange dreamsicle blend and now my favorite part of the day. Anything with ginger is tasty, too. My life of crime, oh dear. But no one should be sleepy at work, that's my argument.

Mama, your go-to's are good resources, I like your fall back plan a lot! And oh that dastardly salt. I've got a hold on the ebook, looking forward to reading it!

I hope I made my way out of the amusement park. Down 1.6 today. So I'm a half pound below from when this numbers game started 7 days ago. I think it was a mix of reaching a set point and a stall and too much sodium. I have a goal this week of getting under 170. Two pounds in 7 days. I am motivated!

    Onward! (Miss you, Pearly!)

LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - FEELIN' FINE in FEBRUARY!!!!

    I’m baa-aaa-ack!

Loading for a day. I’m up over my window by .8. I’ve been MIA as I’ve had a bad cold and am just now getting human again.

I’ll catch up later from my desktop.

    Congrats to ALL!

So happy to "see" you, Pearly! You are the heart and funny bone of this forum. Happy loading!

I'm down another .5, so is my average, oh well. I was too hopeful too soon, rookie mistake with my math.
I've got 15 days left on P2, a few challenges on the social calendar but the fun part will be seeing friends I've missed since December. New body, who dis? :-)

The one thing I love about this round is I'm having the best nights sleep. On average 8+ hours. Last night was an exception since one of my cats decided it was time to practice opening cupboard doors. FYI, she's not very good at it.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

    Happy Monday, Lovelies!
Tracy, thanks for the Wise Ape Tea info. I checked them out and ended up ordering 3 varieties.
Welcome back, Pearly! Catching a cold during your PI is just not fair. Feel better!
    It's P2D3 for me, so I'm just enjoying a typical week 1.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning lovelies! Just caught up with all that I missed & am so happy you are all doing well! Hate to admit that I've still been in this "funk" after week one & rather than risk gaining all my weight back, I stopped the drops. 😕 I gained a couple lbs & I have not been happy with myself! I'm not sure what I'm doing yet! I do know that I'm not going to "kill myself " with insults as it will only make things worse. And, I'm not going to avoid you all cause that's the worst thing I could do!

My church is going to observe Lent this year & it starts Wed & I feel called to participate so I may start up again then. I know it's more than just food- we'll see how it goes.

Anyway, what goes down, must come back up again & I believe I will see the light at the end of the tunnel & be UP on top again soon! 🙌

Thanks for letting me get it out of my system! 🤮 haha! I WILL look lovelier in a few months! 💃

    meh.
I am still tired from that cold. I guess. Or just old age. I am not a ball of fire lately.
I actually lost a little loading yesterday. I am not sure yet if I am done loading or not today. LOL. I will see how I feel as I go along.

Last round, I only got to 130.8 and could not get past it, so decided to take a PI and come back. I didn't come back until I was back up to 143. Sheesh. So even though I don't really want to come back, I do not want to do that to myself again. My goal is to figure out P4 and I can't do that if I am still dissatisfied with P2 LIW.

So, I'm back for at least 2 weeks. I just need 5-6 pounds gone. I already know I may not be able to do this if I just play bounce a pound the whole time. So here's hoping I have some 'first week" loses this week and get past that set point. THEN I may be inspired to keep going to where I want to be.

I'm so thankful you all are still here!

Oh Pearly, those set points are cruel. I finally got past mine (@173-175 lbs) on this round. It's taken almost nine days.

Only down .2 this morning, but really pleased to see the inches disappearing. Two inches each off my waist and hips and I got my chin back! Still have to get new work shoes, I'm clomping around like a little girl wearing her moms high heels...

    Thank you for the welcome!

I am kind of sneaking up on P2. I did a sort of P3 load yesterday, with plain yogurt and berries for lunch and a small steak and a tomato for dinner. Oh, and some almond butter on toast for breakfast, which is not P2 or P3 or really anything but needed to both use up the almond butter and get the idea of toast out of my system. I don't own a toaster anymore, so have to broil bread for toast which means I usually have burnt toast. Sort of keeps me honest.

However, I am down 1.4 from yesterday. i have been higher than today's weight for about a week, so I am giving all credit to good old HCG. Today is Phase Two Part Two Very Low Calorie Diet Day 1. P2PIIVLCD1. LOL. I hope.

I will create a new ticker once I get past my last LIW.

It's 28 today and the wind is blowing so windchill is def in the below zero range. Meh. My family in the midwest keeps saying it's almost March, so spring will be here soon. HAH. In Colorado, we got snow in June last year. Winter is just settling in here.

    Onward.

    Happy Tuesday all you Lovelies!

Just a quick fly by to wave at everyone and let you know I'm not ignoring you. I read almost every day, but just can't seem to find a block of time to write a reply! Pearly, Kar, Mama & Tracy good losses! Gem, hope you're out of your funk. Please keep checking in. We worry when you disappear... RK, hope you've recovered from your slip and slide and back on track with P3.

AFM: Nothing new to report from P4-land. Counting down to my next round and trying to empty the fridge of non-P2 perishables.

    Have a great day all!
