Hidey Ho everyone! Gem and Mama, I started a same weight stall yesterday which was coupled with a gain of 1 pound. I'm on day 13. Waist is down another 1/2 inch, inches are leaving, so fingers crossed there is a whoosh in my future. I haven't had a long (6-whatever) day stall in a few rounds, hopefully I didn't jinx it by just now putting it out there to the universe! They usually last about 3 days for me.

I would happily trade our rain for your snow, ladies!

I made two new 2.0 dishes for those of you not OP and feeling rogue. A goulash with onion, mushroom, broccoli and beef all cooked in beef broth. And crab veggie soup with carrot slivers, onion and celery, cooked in rotel tomatoes and some chicken broth.

I froze all my juice in needles for the rest of the round and will end up at 36 doses for this one. Not the 40 days I was planning for, but I don't want to buy more and mix just for 4 doses. Math!!

Pearly, good luck with your 10 day PI, when you come back we'll race to the finish line together! It'll be made of measuring tape strung with avocados :-)

    Happy hump day!

    Hi LinderLou! We see you

I think I should just invite you to stay at my house for my next round so you can make all this yummy sounding food! Your room is waiting...

Bonjour, Lovelies! What a difference a day makes & how that TESS can effect your mood depending on what it reads each day! That could be worse than a finicky man or kid! Ha! 😬 with that being said, I dropped 1 lb for a week total loss of 8.4 lbs. I think that's the most I've lost in a week in ages! That still keeps me up .6 from my LDW last round, but I'm looking ahead now!

    Back atcha, Linder! 🙋*♀️
Tracy- I hate those scale stalls, but I love how there is another way to track your progress- Inches! You've done well!
Pearly- enjoy your PI. Sometimes we need a break. I really miss my cheese!
Mama- I'm beginning to wonder if I need to totally break from the ground beef. I had none yesterday & I ended up dropping. I will say I cheated a bit & had a spoonful of peanut butter (cravings were out of control) & about a 1/2 PC of bacon- oops! I'm guessing that is another reason I was really surprised by a loss & I hope it doesn't come back to bite me in the next couple of days! 🤨

You all enjoy your day & I'm hoping my cravings go away & I can Stay Focused on the task @ hand! 😎

Pearly good luck with your PI. Iím in Fort Collins. Snowy here too. LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - FEELIN' FINE in FEBRUARY!!!!

Work up to a .2 loss this am. Iím only on VLCD5. Food was totally on point. No idea why. Wondering if I should skip weighing everyday too. Lord knows Iíll get the rage if these small losses keep up. Haha.

I finally have energy. Took a few days to adjust but I donít feel like Iím slowly dying anymore so thatís good!

Trying some baked chicken with tomato sauce and fresh herbs tonight. Sounds pretty good. Hoping the tomato doesnít make me stall. Anyone ever sub the eggs as protein? I miss eggs so much when I do this. Wondering if it makes people stall? They never mess with me in P3 so I might try it.

Hang in there Mama! There will always be low drop days as you move through the protocol. Men usually see a pound a day loss but women (I think due to hormones?) have wide fluctuations, still at the end of the round, you're average will land near 1/2 a pound a day. It's a long game for sure!
I recovered from my mini stall, down 2.0, so day 11 Vlcd is 8 pounds gone. I started at 183, now 175, I'd like to land in the 160's, anywhere in there would be just fine :-) I recalibrated my juice and I have enough for 37 days.
I have a love hate relationship with eggs. Especially scrambled, they make me nauseous. I don't see a gain when I eat them, they are delicious, if I make a breakfast muffin (p3), it's a little better. Sounds like you would be fine!
    Happy Valentines Eve Lovelies!

Guten tag (German), Lovelies! I know I'm a bit "off" lately- ha! 😏 I have to be conscientious about expanding my brain as being homebound with a person recovering from surgery as well as this cold snowy weather, retired & trying to diet can be pretty depressing @ times. 😕

Congrats on dropping, tracy! Does wonders for your mind. I don't seem to have a problem w/eggs either & I'll add them to a tuna pouch now & again. I basically eat pretty boring on p2. I need to liven up my choices!

Have a great day everyone. I'll try not to dwell on my depressing times & Stay Focused more on the positive- the fresh snow is beautiful, I got a desk cleaned out yesterday, my hubby is doing well & the inches are decreasing around my waist and hips! Hallelujah! 😎

    Good morning lovelies!

I hope you are all doing great. It has been an absolutely horrible week here for me. Friday night my 91 year old dad went into the hospital with aspiration pneumonia and sepsis from infection. They overmedicated him for the MRI and for his pain so Sunday he became delusional and irrational. Dad is usually as smart and logical as all of us. As of Yesterday he is now back to normal... But very weak.

Dad is in a noted and well-known hospital. But his body suddenly was overwhelmed with infection and just could not clear/process the pain control and tranquilizers which led to all this.

I have been bringing my own food to the hospital and have been POP. I have not lost 1 ounce. In fact, I went up 3 pounds which I really donít understand. Today I am back down to just being 1 pounds up. I have been at the hospital all day every day even though they have had an in room sitter for him. I have been going home at night.

I was planning on ending my round but I just feel unstable with all this current weight fluctuation. So Iím going to extend a few more days. What does everyone think about this plan?

Iím just so exhausted! Iím looking forward to reading back once I get to the hospital and seeing how everyone is doing.

    Warmly,
    RK

    Good morning all!

RK - So sorry to hear about your Dad's illness. Hope he continues to improve day by day. I'm sure all of the stress of being at the hospital all day is messing with your losses. I have no advise about extending or ending your round. Sorry.

Gem - Keep the positive attitude in spite of it all - good going! Inches dropping is good and glad that hubby is improving.

Tracy - Way to go in breaking your stall. Those are so frustrating!

Mama - We don't lose every day. As the others said, the average of 0.5 per day is the norm for most women. Hoping you have a whoosh soon.

Pearly - How are you doing on your PI? Hope it works to shake things up.

    Everyone. Have a great day!

RK, hope your Dad gets back to 100% quickly! I suspect stress and exhaustion are the culprits of your weight gain. It's probably water weight. Extend or don't... whatever feels best to you. Hang in there!
