Gosh Rose, you are a "lean mean maintaining machine"

It seems a lot easier to maintain P4 in the summer when most of us eat lighter meals anyway, especially those of us who live in the SUN BELT. The winter months when the days are shorter, and the foods richer (even in the SUN BELT) are when I think most of us run into trouble. Especially since we can cover uu and hide a bit more in our clothing.

I can't stand to have even 10 lbs. extra on me in the summer months, since I need to look great in all those revealing summer fashions - lol!

    Hi Lovelies,

Just dropping a quick check in. Im about 2 months in to P4 and maintaining quite well. No correction days since the one at the end of P3 and 2 lbs under LIW.

Rose, you continue to be consistent and do great.

RK, my birthday is in the first week of August. I saw youd previously mentioned tweaking you thyroid meds and learning when to get rechecked. Thats great knowledge to have after you wrap up this Round.

SD and Natalie, you two are losing great! I know it feels so good.

Anyways, Im still around to keep my mind right for maintenance. Weve had so much hot weather and Im tired of it. Mr. Savannah and I have been getting up early daily to handle our outdoor chores and shopping and tend to make our way indoors until at least 8-9 pm everyday. During this time of year, I tend to have boat envy. Lol

    Hi Savannah,

Looks like you've joined Rose's "Maintaining and Sustaining in P4" club. I was looking back at my food logs from my 2nd round a few years ago. I can't believe how much food or how many different things I was able to eat and there was not even a blip on the scale (unless it was due to eating something I later identified as one of my inflammatory foods).

Boy, how I wished and prayed for those days again when I saw that log.

Good morning all! Just checking in after a hot weekend. Happy to report that I am still cruising along at LDW, about 7 months into P4. Eating well and to satisfaction every day. Making sure I get all of my water in - especially in this heat.

Natalie - I'm anxious to hear if you finished up your round yet. You did amazing! So happy you ended up in Onederland. You are an inspiration!

RK - Hoping you and your daughter are still doing well. How cool to have a partner in this challenge. I totally rely on this forum for support, but it would be really nice to have someone that you see every day to share the challenges and successes during P2. Keep up the good work!

Coco - You're doing so great too. I have never lost more towards the end of P2 and usually end in a stall. The benefit to that is that it probably helps with the maintenance in P3/P4.

Savannah - Good to "see" you. I know what you mean about being tired of the heat. We pretty much stay inside too and my main focus in the evening is making sure the bedroom cools off enough to sleep comfortably.

RoseL - Great job on maintaining. I think the staying at home thing DOES help. I think it has made the path to eating "on plan" easier without the complications of eating at restaurants where you don't have control over what goes into the recipes.

Tanya - Congrats on P3! It is always amazing to me to be able to eat all those fatty foods and stabilize. And wonderful too! Keep up the good work and hope you have peanut butter soon (ooohh - on apple slices!)

Anyone I missed - keep up the good work too! We can do this!

GO FOR IT. You've got plenty of time to eat P3!!!! I keep going down 1+ lb. as much as I am every day, I'll add a few more days till it slows to only .2 or .4 then I'm done!!!
