Off to a good start. I was surprised to be very hungry less than 2 hours after eating lunch yesterday. I ate my second protein early and then worried about being hungry all evening... but instead, I wasnít even hungry enough to want my second fruit. I just had my second vegetable at dinner time with the family and saved my fruit for dessert. Never ate it as my headache ramped up quickly and I just went to bed early.

I guess I need to allow my body and my mind time to adjust to the much smaller intake after eating almost continually lately. I can do this! And the reward is great!

First time cheating on p2 today. Iím especially anxious and just decided to go a little nuts. Two little bags of cookies. Some ritz crackers about 5, kettle corn pop chips like 10, scoop of ice cream, one string cheese. Iím stopping now. My stomach hurts. Iím trying not to flog myself still I feel bad. I donít want to eff up the last 4 days of this rounds so Iím resolved to get back up and stay strong. Any additional advice?

Natalie, you have been such a pillar of strength for so long! Please do not beat yourself up over being human!! Focus on all the positives you have accomplished. One day of cheats will not undo all the good choices you have made. You may see a little fluctuations on the scale for a few days, but you will still have BIG LOSSES for the round, and a BIG group of virtual friends who are proud of all the days you didn't give in and "go a little nuts"! Good job for getting back up and finishing out your round, whenever you choose to do so, and for what I know will be a positive P3.

    You got this!!

It sounds to me like your body is telling you its time to move on into P3. Some times we are the hardest drivers of ourselves and just out of sheer determination, will keep pushing aside the bodies cries to keep going. Maybe start planning how you are going to execute your transition and find & savor joy in your amazing accomplishment. Not just finishing a round, but victory in fighting your alchohol & physical challenges and creating a more positive life all around. And all in the space of a few months. You're a rock star! You deserve to celebrate your strength.

I agree with this. Can you do a steak day tomorrow? I always lose with a steak day or a mini steak day. Your body might just be ready for a break! Youíve done so well LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - JOYFUL & JUBILANT in JULY!!!.

I had a hell of a day. Basically learned we are getting let go and I panicked. Total anxiety attack (single mom) and I couldnít calm down. I had some clonidine leftover from treatment so I took one and eventually went to Pilates. Then I came home starving and ate a lot of ground chicken and sauteed onions on lettuce. I think exercise makes me hungry and itís okay if I up my protein.

I was down to 181.2 today so 2.4 went bye bye. I donít anticipate that tomorrow.

I need to get my head in the game and get excited about meal prep and spices. I have just felt so overwhelmed. But I am not drinking and will have 9 months or sobriety on the 2nd, God wiling, and that is the only constant in my life right now.

Off to read the rest. Happy this board is here. Stay healthy and keep on losing LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - JOYFUL & JUBILANT in JULY!!!

    Good evening Lovelies,

Sorry I have been AWOL, it has been a super busy week!

Natalie: You have done so well! Congratulations on doing so well! P3 and you can always do another round if you want. Congratulations on a super great round and wonderful losses. We are all so proud of you.

Beachy: So nice to see you! I take NP thyroid which is a type of desiccated pig thyroid. It is a prescription product and is considered the generic of Armour Thyroid. I find these desiccated pig thyroids are all pretty interchangeable. I find these drugs much better for me than synthroid. A good source of info is the website: Stop the thyroid Madness:

    StopTheThyroidMadness.com

I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, so sometimes my thyroid kicks in and works and sometimes it does not. So that situation means I have to watch my dose and monitor for symptoms that I need to increase or decrease my dose. When I don't have enough thyroid hormone I am a tiny bit cold, but that is really subtle and not consistent, have "digestive issues" and the biggest sign is I suddenly gain several pounds very quickly, and GAIN weight no matter what I eat/don't eat. When my dose is too high I get a spurt of a racing heart, and some insomnia (no weight loss though sigh). I am getting better at knowing both signs, but it has been a huge learning curve. For 4-6 weeks after hHCG my thyroid is working great, and my dose is low. THEN I have gotten into trouble with the sudden gain. So this time I will have weekly thyroid tests from week 4 onward, or just adjust my dose.

Beachy, I have always done Intermountain Homeopathic HCG Pellets. I really have gotten great results with them, as have many of my pals. I have found it to be an easy economical way to go personally, but so many methods work well.

Savannah and RoseLanou: so great to hear how well you are doing in P4. That is very reassuring to me.

Linderlou: 7 Months of maintaining!!!!! That is so great!!!!! So proud of you , congratulations. Please stay on the forum so you can give us all maintenance tips. That is really scary to me.

    Tanya: Wonderful job in P3!

    Tightwad(Roni) How are you doing?

Coco: Were you pretty P3 on your Planned Interruption or did you have some fun foods? What a great round you have had! Thank you for the P3 advice!

    Lemon: glad you are back.

PoweredBy Starbucks/Charlie: Welcome back! Sorry to read about your loss of your mom and congratulations on your sobriety! Wonderful that you are doing better and giving yourself the gift of getting healthier! Oh my I just read your post about your job situation! So Sorry! I hope you find a better job very soon! I find that the more sugar I have the more I want. I also have a huge sweet tooth so I think this diet helps me to re-set that a little. Then when I have sweets I have to have firm limits on my portions sizes. Looking forward to reading about your journey.

    Lane: Welcome to the party!

AFM: My losses have been different this round, I seem to lose every other day around .8 lbs average. Previous rounds I lost average .4 pounds a day, with some plateaus. It evens out the same but can mess with my head a bit. I start my Planned Interruption tomorrow for my birthday weekend! I have just completed 2 days of 500 cals without pellets.

My daughter suddenly got ravenously hungry mid round and with Leez's help she did a skip day and we lowered her dose. She is now doing fabulously well. She is not hungry at all and has great energy.

I am noticing that so much of my every day life relies on having good mental habits, visualizing my goals and seeing the path to get there. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and keep on the path!

    Warm Wishes,
    RK

Yes, I was pure P3 during my interruption . I'm not a sugar and starches person any way, so P3 is always easy for me as long as I watch the fat(other than what naturally occurs in the meats) which seems to put the scale up for me. I love all kinds of meat, HWC, and Cheese (which I do have to watch if it contains annatto or too many ingredients). But raw cheese is my favorite.

I'm officially starting P3 tomorrow. - Lost about 25 lbs. this round.

    Thumbs up Day 4

Sdwis: I think my doses from before were 150iu, but I was a lower weight too. So far I feel fine on 175iu (from NuImage), but I should probably keep an eye out for my hunger levels huh? I expect a dose-lowerage coming.

    Welcome Charlie and Tightwad!

Also way to go 58 days Natalie! I always think longer rounds work better.

In my signature the bump on day 3 is from eating a piece of toast the night before. Dumb.

Otherwise 3.2 pounds down in 4 days is pretty par for the course on first week. I'm finding that pushing my meals back until late-afternoon makes this easier for me. Starting with a grapefruit half for breakfast just makes me expect more food. I've been hitting the scallops and egg whites this week because they are easy. I'm going to try to save chicken for when I'm hungrier.

It's funny I just made breakfast for little guy and big guy and I was not tempted at all. Must be a good dose. Also they put b12 in my mixture for the first time. Maybe that helps.

Exercise definitely makes me hungry. I have to watch it on this diet. I try to make up for it by coming back to working out with a vengeance in P3.

Sorry about the job. I am unemployed at the moment, and it's tough.
