It's not what we do in one day, it's what we do continuously. Reminding myself.

I had a really good day yesterday until about 9 pm when I would have eaten a small child if you covered him in chocolate. I actually found some Just Fruit jelly in the bacck of the fridge and had a few tastes of that, which is NOT POP but got me through. Good grief.

I'm back down half of the gain from the last two days. Even with jelly, so gtting there.

I am so MAD at myself, though. I went off without my dose this morning! What? Feed the dogs, pack lunch, take dose and out the door. Only forgot task 3. Actually, I most often do that as task 1 as soon as I hit the kitchen. I have an out of the office meeting this morning and I think it is likely I will be the last one back to the office because I will get lost and end up back in my kitchen for five minutes. That will confuse the dogs...You're HOME! Happy Dance! Wait, what? Your LEAVING AGAIN? .... but can't be helped. I don't want a skip day on my second day of my new mix.

Onward and onward and onward and on.....
    P

Did it! Zoomed home and got my dose in. 11 am instead of 7 but better than skipping!

    Good Morning Lovelies,

Pearly that is a good plan.
Yesterday was unexpectedly hard. Very tempting party. I could have done way better than I did. I have now learned to eat before and chew gum. Oh Well. Onward!

    Have a great day everyone!

Checking in mid-week from P4-land. All is well and holding rock steady at LDW. Nothing new or special to report. I'm still "feeling" inches moving around and decided yesterday that I'm just not ready to do another round in 2 weeks as I had planned. Not mentally or physically. I DO want to drop these last 20 pounds, but recognize (mostly from reading all of your posts) that I have to be in a good space to be successful. So, after studying my calendar more closely, I've decided that mid-March is my new target and have all wrapped up and back in P3 by end of April and my next work road trip. The only negative aspect to this plan is that it falls right smack in the middle of "tax season". Oh well, I'll just have to deal...

Everyone is doing so great on here. Pearly - LOL - confuse the dogs for sure! Gem - good that you'll be home for your new round. RK - Great losses after your PI. Hoping you get to goal this time! Deanna - you're off to a good start and hoping you get some energy back soon.

Wine drinkers - count me in. I really enjoy my glass of Chardonnay at the end of the day.

    Have a great day everyone!

    Happy Hump Day Lovelies!

Gem, I'm so impressed that you are only .8 above your window after the holiday season! That must feel good, knowing that you can eat some things that you like without piling the weight on.

Rk, I hope your back is feeling better. Mine seems to be slowly healing thanks to the Chiropractor (I think). Still, it makes me nervous for my future: one wrong move...

Pearly, I set a repeating alarm on my phone for every morning when I'm on HCG. Despite being part of my morning routine I have on occasion forgotten. Makes me crazy.

Linder, good job in P4, and it's always smart to make sure you are ready for a round by being in the right frame of mind. I've never stopped a round, but I have endured a few that were less than smooth simply because I didn't plan properly and wasn't ready mentally. Totally miserable.

Deanna, Wilson, how are you guys. doing?

AFM: This is transition Day 1 of no HCG. I'm ready to be done and happily I am more or less at goal. I have lost 12 lbs in 21 days, so it was a successful round. One thing. I noticed: because a lot of that 12 lbs was from the holidays I think it came off more easily. I mean, because it was recently gained it was easier to lose. Anyone else notice that? The other thing I notice is how low my blood pressure and resting heart rate are when I'm in a round. I wear a Fitbit so it gives me my resting heart rate and it gets as low as 50-52 (normally 54-60), and the other day at the grocery store (Higi machine) blood pressure was 96/64. I'm normally 118/70-ish. I think this shows how the body just gets to rest from all the processing of food and drink, like giving it a holiday. Makes me feel good about what I'm doing, beyond the weight loss.

    Hope everyone is well.

All good, Mo. Thanks for asking. Slight gain today but not a big deal. Played tennis last night and was very stiff and sore afterwards so holding a lot of extra water weight today. Confident I will be back on track tomorrow. Getting close to the end and near final target weight.

Pearly, you cracked me up with that small child comment! 😅
Linder, I was thinking about how I don't want to start too! I think I. Going to trudge thru & try it. You're doing great staying at your LDW. Proud of you!
Congrats Mo on meeting your goal!! Hope I can do that by summer.
Deana, I usually feel tired the first few days of a round then I get very energetic after that. Likely you are experiencing withdrawal from certain foods that you are no longer eating like sugar, flour, etc. You should perk up soon!

So I step waaay back from any alcohol in p2 as it seems to trigger Eating!! I've been drinking less as I've gotten older as it just makes me eat & sleep. No fun- ha!

I'm off to bed.....bad sleeping night last night. 😴

Yay yay yay. SO glad I got my dose in yesterday. Down a lovely Lovely 1.4 today. Back ahead of where I was before those unexpected gains. I think I mixed new just in time!

My ticker is set to get me back to where I was last fall, as I know I've said before, but once I get there, I want to get back to where I was last year, before summer, which is just another 4-5 pounds. Ha. JUST.

I actually seem to do better at this diet when things are unsettled in my life, and right now, with impending unemployment, it is one of the things I CAN control. And it is cheering to see the scale go back down.

Hope for the same for every buddy else!
    Onward!

    Greetings Earthlings!

Wilson, don't you just hate those fluctuations, even if you know why? It does my head in, especially when I am in P3 because I second guess everything I am doing/eating. I will avoid something I would really like to eat because I have missed it, but I won't have it because it is salty (like bacon, nuts etc) and it could give me a false jump in weight when I am trying to keep in my 2lb window. Ditto for exercise (like spin class).

    Pearly, wow on that woosh!

What do people think about the concept of re-shaping in P3 and beyond? Have you guys experienced that? I'm trying to decide if I actually, really experience it or it is just wishful thinking? Here, again, taking measurements might be helpful in determining, but alas, I haven't done it.

Oh my word...*sigh*... since Iím about to load for another round I seem to have given my brain permission to start late night binging again. As in eating the whole box of snack cakes. It goes to show how vulnerable I am to fall back into old habits (two years later). I better load quick before I do more damage to the scales. This round was suppose to be reaching my final goal. Down 80 lbs after last round ...but ...letís just say Iím confident the scales are going to shock me when I get back on them.

Moving forward and look forward joining you guys soon

Mo...yes! Iíve experience the reshaping and itís wonderful. Each time I wasnít looking for it so comes as a nice surprise. (I always forget about that part). Iíve learned more about where fats like to gather on my body from doing HCG. I can outgrow a bra quickly when putting weight back on. Didnít think my booty was such an fat grabbing area ...wrong. Itís not like it stands out but when I reshape it does to. Iíve never measured but itís helps many people when the scales are not cooperating.

    Good morning lovelies,

Mo: I keep doing my back exercises. I think falling off that wagon is how I got re-injured. Also, My gym, Crunch, has hydromassage beds and dry saunas. I find that really helps me with my back. Mo you make an excellent point. I think weight that you have recently put on comes off quicker and from now on instead of waiting if I need to do another round I am just going to do that. Good luck with your transition! I know youíre gonna do great.

Hi Wilson, Gemgirl, and LinderLu! Also Pearly!
You all are doing great! So exciting to read about your success.

Jessie Seems like the quicker you start the better off you will be!

AFM: Tuesday night was a total fiasco. I ate something that mustíve really screwed me up because I gained 2 pounds. Today I am down a pound but still so swollen I cannot put on my rings. So I know this water weight will come off tomorrow. Tonight I have a banquet that I planned so I spoke to the restaurant to have to make me something I can eat. Also, I am boxing up the desert to take home to my family! That will just be easier for me than having it in front of me! They are excited about it so it is a win-win! Hope everyone has a wonderful winning day out there!

    Best Wishes,
    RK
