Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - JOYOUS in JANUARY!!!!

  1. #121
    Hi all!

Love reading all your posts! It gets easier in the last days, no? I'm on VLCD 12 and down 14.5 lbs. I did an apple day yesterday which turned out to be easier than expected I've been doing this whole thing with a friend so I guess that definitely helps. Also - I have completely recluded myself from social situations! I agree with everyone that I MISS WINE AND WINE MISSES ME! But alas, I know the second I take one stupid sip my hypothalamus will get messed up again so...no biggie! I have a wedding my first weekend of P3 so might drink some tequila sodas then? If I feel the need

RKThin: Way to go keeping on the positive side!! It's not always easy after an unexplained gain like that, but I'm happy you're moving forward
Pearly: Nice!!! Isn't it so satisfying when you get out of the rut?
Mo: I hadn't even thought of the reshaping!!! AAAA SO EXCITED FOR THAT!
Jessie: Don't be too hard on yourself! Yes you might binge for the loading days but then you'll get back to forming good habits!

Does anyone do before and after pictures? I'm doing that this round and I feel like it might also help as motivation in P4/life to be consistent and not let myself go too much!

Also, do you guys still weigh yourselves every day on P4? I have a friend that does it and says it helps him make really quick corrections and not gain weight quickly, but I don't know if I'll feel like a slave of the scale!!

    Keep chugging on!

Mo - as for reshaping. I have certainly noticed it, even now several weeks into P4. "Stuff" is moving! So, I've always carried my extra weight in my hips and thighs. After losing 50 pounds, my hips and thighs are smaller than they've ever been, even at a lower number on the scale. Not sure how that work physiologically, but Dr S did talk a lot about losing "abnormal fat" in his manuscript. I also believe strongly that hcg guards against muscle wasting, where other 500 calorie diets, without the help of hcg, will turn on your body and burn whatever is easiest. That's why you end up with a gaunt looking face and a very loose bra.

For me, personally, the reshaping continues weeks after you finish the hcg. That's also why I think the waiting time between rounds plays a big part of long term weight loss and keeping the weight OFF. That is also a big part of the reason I decided to wait another 6 weeks to start another round. I feel I need to settle WELL into my current weight and then take the next step downward.

Pal - I continue to weigh every day in P4. I've discovered several food sensitivities because I could quickly recognize what I was reacting to and fixing that. It also gives me a certain sense of satisfaction to record those numbers on my calendar every day.

    Onward toward the weekend!

Just finished 2 days of loading....I love that part of the program🤗. Today is Day 1 of VLCD. Followed protocol to a tee. Iím traveling for a week. I think it will be easy to follow the program while Iím on the road. Being busy helps me. TWAbell

Thank you for the pep talk! Let me just say this ...EVERY time I take a break from scales during P4 it ends badly. Staying close to the scales and doing correction days is such an important part of this process. Itís the one thing I keep flubbing up on. I like your reminder of them hypothalamus...I tend forget about that.

    Good morning all!

Well, Iím up Iím all dressed up and no place to go. No, Iím not done with my job yet, I just had a 9 AM meeting downtown, and since I usually go into work at eight I thought woo hoo I can sleep later! Which I did and then got an email at 7:30 that my meeting was postponed till 1 PM. Way too late to get to work at eight! So Iím laying low at home until the time to go. I always have work I can do from here.

And, she added nonchalantly, Iím down another pound. Yep, a pound!

With my new mix of hCG I am getting the first week results I didnít get my first week! I still freeze my syringes and take them out one or two at a time to thaw, so itís not the freezing. I vaguely remember that the batch of hCG I had was labeled with a sell by date or maybe use by date of January 2020. When I bought it, that seemed an impossibly long time away! LOL. And here we are!

I canít change my ticker from my phone and I wonít be around my computer for a while, but now Iím 4.8 from where I was in September. P2D19 down 9.4. Wootie wootie wootie wooo hoooo!

    Onward!

Happy Friday All! TGIF for sure.

Hey Gem - I thought you weren't travelling for a while... You are one busy girl! Great job at staying in your window. Working the same program here!

Pearly - Wonderful losses so far. I know it's been a bit of a struggle, but so worth it in the end to stick with it. Sounds like mixing your new batch is paying off!

Jessie - You're right. Keeping an eye on the scale is pretty important. When I know I'm going to do another round in the near future, it is very hard for me not to go overboard too. I think Pearly calls it pre-loading Best of luck in your new round.

TWA - Welcome and good luck on your road trip and P2. I've tried it and found it didn't work well if I was around people I know. Maybe if I was only around strangers and brought my own food... IDK. Hope it works out well for you!

RK - Hope your back continues to improve. Also hoping you've recovered from whatever happened on Tuesday and that your banquet went well. Sounds like the restaurant you chose is great to work with. That is so refreshing.

Mo - Glad your back is on the mend too. Getting a good chiro is essential if you have any kind of alignment issues. Mine retired last year and I'm trying to find a new one since I have neck alignment issues and they're acting up again... Wish me luck.

Everyone else - keep on with what you're doing! You will be rewarded!

AFM: Nothing new to report. Still in my window and eating well. Since many of you are in P2, I won't share my meal details, but we're planning dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant tonight Should be fun and there may be a glass of wine involved!

T-belló so glad your first 2 days went well!!

Thanks all for the kindnesses. They mean the world.

I think Iím getting stressed as my lay off approaches. Iím so glad Iím
Doing P2! I know, right? But it is giving me structure and keeping me grounded. Who knew?

Down another .4. Starting to get back into jeans I bought just before Christmas. Whew. One pair at a time. Amazing how jeans the same brand and same size all fit differently! Only difference is different colors/ weights denim!

    Onward!!!

    Hello everyone!

I started everything about 10 days ago but I have not been able to stick to the diet at all! I started my period the day after, then we had a bunch of family over for a week unexpectedly and birthdays including family emergencies.... I forgot to inject several of those days, ate less but was hardly ever on protocol.... So now I just stopped the injections and decided to start again after my next period....

Has anyone had to do the same thing before? I just hope it will give my body enough time to recoup and be just as effective as my fabulous first round...

Any advice or comments? I would appreciate any I can get.... Thank you!

Lexius, so sorry for your difficult round! This hasn't happened to me (thank goodness) so I can't give any advice as to how to move forward but surely one of our veterans will be able to tell you. If you don't hear from anyone because its the weekend, try PM-ing Leez. She should be able to advise you.
