    Hey ladies,
    Iím here out of desperation to try one more time. Iíve crashed and burned a million times on this diet, but I was never strictly on protocol. I want to try one last time, strictly this time. My blood work is terrible and my doctor wants me on a bunch of meds, etc. I really donít want to go on even more medication, so I know that I need to get my act together. Iím 245 pounds, and itís killing me on my 5í5Ē frame. Iím loading this weekend and plan to start tomorrow. Wish me luck!

    Congratulations on taking control of your health! You got this.

    Follow the protocol and better still, trust the process.

    Try not to put more stress on yourselves. Itís about improving not perfection. You will have great days and great losses and not so great days and losses.

    Lexi, if this is not the time, plan when you can come back to it. Donít stop without a goal, a date to restart and then work on getting yourself ready for then. Lay the groundwork so you will enter into it again. Life happens but you will feel better if you have a work around, not just a ďquit.Ē

    Shrink, you have a journey. There is no once and for all or one and done. But you can make tremendous improvement and step by step, round by round get to where you want to be. Yes, your health will improve. Others here have started at your weight and lost 75 or more pounds ultimately and kept it off. They will chime in soon.

    It just doesnít happen overnight or even every day. But this protocol, whether original or 2.0 works better than anything else, and most of us have tried everything else over and over. Trust it. Do it.

    Eeek. Crickets. Well, everyone is busy over the weekend and it is still early on Monday.

    I'm just checking in because today is VLCD 21. So, I SHOULD be done but I'm not. Saturday I was down so close to 10 pounds... 9.8! But back up a bit today, so 9.4 lost. I have another 9.4 to go to goal, and still 3.6 to get back to where I was so I will keep going until I can't stand it anymore!

    I'm not worried about the pop up on the scale. I woke up with a really stiff back for some reason. I didn't lift or push or do anything to hurt it, but at my age, well, blinking my eyes too fast can make some part of my body go out of whack.

    stiff back = inflammation so you are just holding some water. That will come off soon and you will get past the 10lbs. Good luck on the rest of your round. Day 22 of VLCD for me.

    Wow, it’s pretty stinking quiet! Is it usually this quiet on here?!

    My grocery order came super late today, so I decided to load 1 more day. Tomorrow will be VLCD 1 for me. I’m nervous, dreading it, and am excited all at once. I’m going to be up late working (am a teacher) so hopefully I’m not sleep deprived tomorrow!

    How is everyone else? I saw a couple of you are extending past 21 days...what’s the LONGEST we can do P2 for? I have a lot to lose, so I’d like to have some really impactful rounds!

    Shrink, I think the 'long round' is 42 days of hcg. If you skip a day's dose once a week, you can use those skipped doses to add another week. That said, that's Dr. Simeon's original protocol.

    I will probably be close to that as I am losing pretty slowly this round.

    My body is making me work for every ounce! I am back to where I was Saturday, at 9.8 lost and I'm on Day 22, so a little behind my usual average. I can have an unexpected woosh and catch up, tho. Wouldn't that be Lovely! I can really see the loss now, though, as things are starting to fit without the jelly donut effect.

    I'm here - I'm here! Still cruising along in P4-land so not much to report except that I'm still in my window and still planning to start another round mid-March after we have had weekend visitors.

    We had kind of a Pro-Bowl party on Sunday. Had several friends over and lots of snacky type food. Nothing terrible, but I was definitely happy I'm in P4. No gain on Monday, so all went well.

    Pearly - I'm sure a sore back = a gain on TESS. Hope you're feeling better soon.

    Ashley - I think the longest is 40 injections (I'm not an expert, but that's what I seem to recall). That only counts dose days, you don't count skip days. I've also seen many recommendations to do at least 30 days as it helps with stabilization. I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts. Good luck with your round and if you need the inner strength to get through it, just take it one day at a time, or even one hour at a time. You can do anything for an hour, right? Come on here for support too - it really helps.

    Hello Lovelies,

    Just a crazy busy week here but glad to read everyone is doing well. My weekend was insane! Brother was coming to visit and had a tire blowout in the middle of nowhere, Dad's 91st birthday party that I threw, of course. Work is insane but hopefully will go back to normal-ish now. How is everyone? Great to hear the P3 and P4 ers are doing well!

    AFM: EXCITING NEWS: after a whole week of a stall I am down 1.6 pounds today. I am so happy about that. It gets hard when I get close to goal and I am 5.4 lbs away from my real, realistic ultimate goal. So I know not to expect huge drops and what a great surprise. I hope to continue to lose, even if it goes slow. The plateaus are hard.

    Sorry for not responding for a couple days. Traveling in San Diego. Iím on day 5 VLDC. I have been following the protocol faithfully. I have been so busy and walking a lot. Surprisingly, I have had no issues. Canít wait to get back to the East coast and weigh myself🤗. twabell
