    Happy Weekend, evah buddy!

Yes, Auntie Pearlie is in a GOOD mood! My back and hips are so stiff they are killing me this morning. Double ibuprofen doesnít seem to be doing anything so I did the bio freeze thing and I hope that that takes affect soon.

So I was more than a little worried about weighing this morning for fear I would lose part of that pound I lost yesterday, from Inflammation.

But I lost 2 pounds. Two more pounds to be clear. Yes I slept a little later than usual so I might lose a little of that by Monday and be back up some, but I am sure gonna do my best not to. And Iím never weighing at 6:30 in the morning again anyway! So 8 AM may just become my new normal! LOL

Did I eat perfectly? Iíd say 95%. And the other 5% was more timing than wrong food. I ate a little late last night and was afraid that was going to be bad.But all that turned out OK for once.

OK hereís the deal. I was going to say I learned this lesson before, but obviously thatís not true. I have experienced and been taught this lesson before, but I seem to refuse to actually learn it.

The lesson is: 1. Trust the process. 2. Be patient. 3. Just keep doing it. And the result: It works.

Man, that is such a hard lesson to actually learn. Trudging through the patient part and the part about keeping going when youíre not losing: really really hard. The part about results: priceless! LOL

So, who hoo, happy weekend!! Iíll post Our sweet Christyís fave graphic if I can find it.

I am in my second week. Sorry I did not respond sooner. My best friendís dad passed away and I traveled to attend his funeral and deliver the eulogy. He lived 96 years. I attribute my attitude to his dad who was A huge role model for me. He taught me that it is impossible to be unhappy if your heart is full of gratitude. I choose to focus on the things Iím thankful for instead of focusing on the negative. EVERY day I live by the title of a song my grandmother taught me as a child growing up, ďBrighten the Corner Where You AreĒ. For 40 days I am going to focus on looking for opportunities everyday to brighten the corner of my sphere of influence. It just so happens Iíll be doing VLCD at the same time. Join me...Iíd love company. TWABELL

I’m actually having success this round. I’m so excited to be doing something, not just wishing I was doing something. It feels good to be taking my life back.

I’m someone who loves languages. I’m working extremely hard right now to learn Korean. Even though I’ve finished college, I’ve been taking classes at the community college and doing everything I can to learn for about 2 years. Well, my husband encouraged me to apply to a program in Korea! I’d go for 5 weeks and learn for 4 hours a day. It starts in July. I want to go there at a lower weight so I can enjoy the adventure! I’m so inspired to make this round count and really get things right. I think having a wild dream is helping with my focus!

You can tell Iím catching up on the forum.
There.....you have set your purpose. Over the next 40 days, focus on making small, meaningful progress in Korean. At the same time you will be nourishing your body on the VLCD and hcg. At the end of 40 days, you will look back and be thrilled where you are with your Korean and your weight.

I love the idea of dedicating this time to study and self improvement. It makes this almost a spiritual journey of sorts. Next time I’m craving something I’m going to study! 화이팅!
