No one has noticed the loss (not even me) and it’s not like I can put on cute clothes with this huge cast. So it feels like all this suffering isn’t worth it. I want to cheat and have 2 glasses of wine tonight so badly but I don’t know if it will do too much damage with only 6 days left. I’m just going absolutely bonkers with food boredom and no wine!!!! Sorry, had to vent!
I am with you on the wine. That is what I miss more than anything. Hang in there. 10.5 pounds in 15 days is fine. The last week is usually easier than the second so you might as well ride it out.

Journey, 10.5 in 15 days is AWESOME. Hope you made it through the night.

I held 1.6 of my 2 pound loss. I went up .4 yesterday and am the same today. Part of it could be weighing at a different time. I get up an hour to an hour and a half later on weekends. Soon to be EVERY FREAKING DAY, as I swear I will never work in an 8 a.m. office again. I certainly will not work at an 8 a.m. office where everyone acts like you are late when you arrive at 7:50 because they came in at 7. Nope, nope, nope! LOL. I am so not a morning person.

I stocked up on good vegies, bought some sirloin steaks from the 'used meat' bin--where they discount stuff that's getting too close to the sell by date. It's fine, as long as I use or freeze immediately. I sliced up two of the three steaks and packaged them into 3-ounce P2 servings, and just threw the last steak into a freezer bag to have on hand for a steak day in P3. Also bought chicken to make another round of soup. I still have enough frozen for this week.

This is my last day of Week 2, so did not do as well as my usual rounds. I'm usually closer to 10 pounds in 14 days. I'm only at 7.2. Still, I was SOOO COLD yesterday afternoon, I know it is still working. I had pretty near POP days over the weekend, and not quite as starving in the evenings. However, I flat forgot to take my dose yesterday until almost 2 pm, so I think that may have messed me up some. I usually take it around 7 a.m.

I did not mix my new batch this weekend, as I got caught up in cleaning and rearranging my front bedroom back into a home office and ran out of steam. I still have enough frozen for 3 more days.

    I. will. do. this.

    Onward.
    P

PS My Ticker gives my progress back to my last round weight and Id like to get below that again. I was between 123 and 128 for most of the past 5 years - intermittently back to 140's at least once a year---and I was trying 130ish to see if I could stay there more easily. The answer is NO. If I am going to have to watch it that closely, I may has well watch it from UNDER 130.

    Happy Monday Lovelies,

Palgal: Hang in there. Also, I notice after being on this diet I lose my cravings for certain foods, especially sweets. Then eating in moderation is so much easier. I also count calories in "my fitness pal" especially during P3 and P4. Doing a solid P3 P4 really helps with keeping the weight off for me. I also have a list on my phone of things I enjoy doing instead of sweets. That also is good, as well as keeping myself out of the kitchen after dinner. Just a thought.

Mo: Welcome back! My husband loves the chiro. I also use to do my back exercises every day, but I fell off that wagon which was dumb. So now I am back to doing my exercises while I watch TV. I find doing the reclined spinal twist on the floor allows me to adjust my own back which helps. Also, stretching my hamstrings helps my back. Also, nothing like a bath with Epsom Salts and a glass of wine (relaxes the muscles). I also take Naprosyn when I hurt my back. If it is really bad I take Naprosyn and 4-6 hours later take Acetaminophen, then Acetaminophen every 6 hours. For bad pain this combo really helps me.

Pearly: What great losses! Wow it really gives me hope! How is the job search coming?

LinderLou: Great news about -1lb! So pleased that you are doing well and feeling better. Thank you for the pep talk, I needed that! Hope you continue to do well. So inspiring to also read about your wonderful P4.

Deanna always fun to read your posts.

Journey: Your weight loss is terrific! I lost 20 pounds and no one said a word to me about how good I looked. But then I realized when I gained 35 pounds no one told me I looked fat! People notice, it's just not polite to say as it is a fraught and personal topic.

Wilson and Journey, I am so with you on the wine. But I rationalize it is just for a short time. It is still hard. Especially if you have fun yet obnoxious friends like me who have to describe the wine you are not drinking...grrrr

Pearly: Good Luck you are doing great. I am also having to tighten up on my dosing schedule. I keep forgetting to take my midday dose of pellets...so I take it late. I set an alarm reminder on my phone to fix that! Wow for 5 years maintaining! I would love for that to be my story!

AFM: After 3 days of NO losses and no cheats, I am down .8 today. I am 7 pounds away from my goal, was visiting a weight I had been at before for a long time, so I think that is the reason. My stomach during the no loss days actually did get flatter. Also, weekends are the toughest for me. So not losing was a humbling experience that kept me vigilant. I had shashimi on a green salad while everyone else had fun sushi Friday night, and Saturday night called ahead to my favorite tiny Italian place so they made me cioppino P2 friendly way (no oil, no pasta, no clams or mussels, with shrimp, crab and fish etc.). That worked out great except they gave me enough broth and fish and shrimp for 4 people. Honestly the bowl was that huge so that is going to be dinner tonight for everyone! Well, I hope that stall will be gone for good! My back is at 80% so we will see how the day goes and if I can walk more today or tomorrow!

    Have a wonderful day!

    Happy Monday all!

OK, I'm procrastinating to avoid work. So happy the Niners won yesterday! Had some friends over and a nice meal with them. Up just a blip this morning, but still below LDW, so all is well in P4 land. Just stop eating when you're full sounds so easy, but sometimes hard to stick with when your plate has so much yummy food on it. I DID do that yesterday and I think that's the real key to P3/P4.

Have a great losing week all and I will keep checking in "from the other side".

Typically Every morning I starve to death !
Was not hungry till 2 o’clock
    Had my strawberries
    16 ounces of water
And I ate a whole can of spinach on accident.
    But I definitely feel full!
I forgot my meat. Darn it.
    I’m at work
Did not gain on load which was weird because I ate horribly.

For me wine has become my nemesis. I have drank like a fish the past year and a half! And of course there was Rum involved as well. I look five months pregnant belly. (i’m 58)The belly weight Is the worst I’ve ever had in my life because of the wine. No thank you.
Do I still want one ......yup.
Because I enjoy wine so much I have to force myself mentally into thinking it every time I smell or drink LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - JOYOUS in JANUARY!!!! I need to literally puke. It works for me.
Then I drink a cuppa tea chamomile.

Deanna. Wine really doesn't hurt me too much. Not sure what you drink, but I trend towards the drier wines. I drink a lot of reds, mainly cabernet sauvignon, with some malbecs and pinot noirs mixed in. For whites, I stick with pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc. Most chardonnays are borderline because they have a lot more residual sugar than they used to. Definitely, not all wine is the same. If you are drinking sweeter wines, move to drier ones. Beer is my nemesis. I like beer but it doesn't like me. I will have the occasional Michelob Ultra and a seldom Bohemia, but I have to tread lightly with beer. Also, champagne is generally phase 3 friendly, in many cases, better than most wines. Stick to brut and extra dry. No prosecco.

    HI,

Wilson, you are right. Deanna, I can usually have a couple of sips of Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Franc, or most red wines because they are dry if I must in P2 as a cheat that seems to be ok. But as a cheat I limit myself to a few sips, not my own glass ha ha. I love a sweeter Reisling and especially a fruity Gewürztraminer (so great) but I don't drink this sweeter stuff in P2 or P3. A dry white or champagne is fine in P3 for me. White wine and P2 are surprisingly not good to me in P2, even a drier chardonnay, chablis or rosé is not my P2 friend.

Gosh I look forward to P4!

No wine for me in P2 either. It is good to step away from alcohol for a month. Well it is not that good, but it is good for you. I did have a small glass of bourbon yesterday. Beyond that I will wait for P3 for my bottle of cabernet

I finally mixed my new batch. Here is hoping it makes a difference. I have 38 new doses , and at the rate I am going, I will need it all to get 6 pounds off to where I was last fall, and another 4 if I can.

I had a really good Perfectly On Protocol (POP) day yesterday and I am UP .8. Hey! That's not fair! Dang.

All I can do is all I can do. So, I'll just keep going. I have a pretty well established pattern of not losing much or even going up a bit (NOT usually a whole .8!) and then wooshing down a pound or two. So, fingers crossed that's what's happening.

    Onward!

    HI Lovelies,

Good news is I am down a whole pound today! Pearly hang in there! I am just out of a stall myself.
Bad news is I have a lot of social/eating out plans. Tonight is at a friend's home. I will take some protein in the car and hope for an undressed salad or veggie plate. No alcohol for me. The rest I can handle, but I have a big dinner here Saturday for Dad's 91st Birthday and I am also making a cake.....so hard for me but no tasting.

6 pounds to go. Wow I am so excited. The last pounds are the hardest for me.

    Have a great day!
