    Quick check in!

Spent the whole morning outside mowing, planting, cleaning. Fertilized tomatoes and peppers and planted my flowers. I love gardening! Sounds like your garden is doing well, Tanya!

Stalled today. Still the same weight as yesterday 208.2. Must break the 208 wall! Iíve been hovering around here for about a week now! Iíve been good too. Hmm. We will see what tomorrow brings.

    Good luck yíall!

Well after I moaned and groaned about my point for loss I went in and wait again when I was getting dressed which was after I'd had some coffee. I had lost almost three-quarters of a pound! so that made me a little bit happy!! Pretty sure I'm not going to lose three more pounds by Saturday but it would be wonderful!!

Natalie these long stalls are killer! I can handle 3 to 4 days but the 6 7 and 8 days I've even had a 10-day one before, are so hard!!

    Hello Everyone,

As others have said It's awful quiet around here.

I'm Down 1.6 today. Total Loss so far 15 lbs. I'm going to do a 40 day(been skipping Mondays) round with the hopes of losing 10 more pounds by the last day - which will be July 15. I've had no hunger whatsoever, and will be mixing vial #2 this weekend.

SDWIS: GRATS on that loss - and it sounds like you found your sweet spot with your dose. That is always a good place to be.

TANYA: GRATS on that loss! I am always afraid to get back on the scale after any consumption - don't want to see a gain, LOL. Good luck - maybe you'll be surprised by additional losses and meeting your goal!

AFM - P2 VLCD6 - I'm up from my lowest value from Saturday, but down from yesterday, so that's a win. I am down 3.4 on VLCD6, which is 0.5/day loss. That is a typical average for me in all my previous rounds, so I'm happy with that. I had a great number on the scale on Saturday and allowed my brain to fall into an old habit of justification. I went to a gathering/party. I took protocol friendly food to contribute so I knew I'd have something I could eat - and I took my SF Pineapple flavored water in a pretty insulated cup - and I did well at first - and then all that food sitting there and my brain said "have a little, your WI was great today." I indulged in some cheese and crackers and one 2-inch homemade brownie bite. It was incredibly decadent, an old family recipe - and I must admit I enjoyed every single bite. The scale the next morning was up 0.4 I think, which isn't bad...... but the scale yesterday was up 1.8 from Saturday. Those carbs caught up with me.

I was right back on track on Sunday, though I was actually switching to the HCG 2.0 protocol, so that may have played a factor as well. The scale moved in the right direction today, though, so I just need to accept my mistake and move on. It is what it is - I own it.

DH had a FU appt with his bariatric surgeon yesterday, and these first few days of HCG allowed him to lose just a few pounds to help him gain confidence and to get him just under where he was the last time he saw her. She was pleased that he was actually down, especially after quarantine. She told him that this quarantine thing has wreaked havoc on the weight of so many people in her practice. Regardless, she is letting him come back in a year instead of six months, which is a win for him. He is 1.5 years out from his surgery and has about 50 pounds to get to his own ride-or-die goal.

Peace out, peeps. Make today great!

Hey all! Good job on losses and sticking with it!

VLCD 29 - third day of stall 208.2
    Total loss - 26.4 lbs

Darn stall! I didnít get my hopes up stepping on the scale so will continue to ride it out. Busy day again today! Keeping busy makes the day go by quicker and I donít get distracted by thoughts of hot wings or pizza.

    Stay strong!

Hello Lovelies and Lads (I think we have a couple)

Just a quick check-in so you don't think I've forgotten you-all. Been super busy during the work week and trying to "unplug" on the weekends so I can get some balance in my life. Still plugging along in my window after all these months. It is getting easier and more like normal eating/life.

All of you in P2 - Great Job. Lots of weight being lost!!! Yay! Sorry about the stalls, but I guess that's part of the process, as that's when the inches go away too.

Those maintaining - Great Job too! That's what it's all about! So glad we are not part of the Quarantine Fifteen.

Have a great rest of your week!

    Good Morning Lovelies,

Nice to read that people are maintaining and losing. Stalls happen, so keep the faith and keep plugging along. You will lose it eventually.

LinderLou I am always inspired by you.

AFM: I have had a big set back due to my thyroid issue. The great news is I now know that it is 6-8 weeks after I stop the hHCG that I need to recheck my thyroid labs. I re-checked too early, and then when the hHCG "boost" left my thyroid I thought it was some other reason! So good news is I know what to do for next time. Bad news is that having an underactive and unsupported thyroid has led to a 7 pound weight gain. It may just roll off. If not I will do a short round. Correction days won't take it back down at this point. So we will see what happens naturally.Fingers crossed but I think a short round is in my future!

Have a great day.I will read back tonight and catch up!

    Fondly,

So awesome to see so many posts today!!
    Had my average .4 loss.
Good to hear everyone is doing so well.
Yup, the stalls stink especially if they're long ones.

    Talking Happy Hump Day!

    Happy Hump Day, Losers!

LinderLou - I was looking at your signature and your various rounds - wow you are so persistent! Inspiring!

RKThin - It sounds like you've got things figured out. Out of curiosity, 6-8 weeks after hHCG you do thyroid labs - then do you adjust thyroid meds in response?

AFM: I'm down another pound since yesterday, for a total of 4.4 lbs down in 7 days. I'm still reading and re-reading HCG 2.0 and I tweaked my macros yesterday to fit my BMR and I met all those thresholds yesterday. Is that why I dropped a whole pounds? IDK. Will continue to meet those daily threshold goals and see how that goes. Just gonna keep on swimmin.....

Gypsy - thanks. You call it inspiring, I call it silly. I somehow have to lose the same 10 pounds over and over again. This time (most recent round) it seems easier to keep it off. Less tempted to crave pizza or Chinese food. Also, staying home and not eating in restaurants is probably a big factor. Probably the most important factor is listening to my body's fullness signals. Even if there is only one more bite on my plate, I stop. My childhood training of the "clean plate club" has finally been reversed The other key is to continue to weigh daily, whether in a round or not. Between previous rounds, I would stop weighing at some point and those stubborn 10 pounds would just creep back on.

I also have thyroid issues and hcg has been the ONLY thing that has worked to get and keep a substantial amount of weight off. I'm hoping to do another round after summer (boating season) and finally get back down to the 120s. Hoping I can get there and maintain as well as I've been able to in the 130s.

Hi everyone! I am new here. I have been viewing the blog for awhile to get all tips HCG related but this is my very first post! Figured it would be wonderful joining this supportive group and of course, will help me to be more accountable.

Thought I would give a little background of myself. Have been doing HCG for 5 years now. I was extremely successful in my weight loss journey having started out at 205lbs in 2015 and hitting my goal weight of 135lbs by 2017. Took a total of 3 rounds. Slowly but surely my weight has been creeping back up due to some major life changes. After my exams around Christmas, I realized I needed to make some major changes. I took to the scale and weighed in at 195lbs. My heart sank. With hard work and dedication I was able to get down to 172lbs and I have been hovering in the 170's for awhile now. I knew I needed a boost -- hence where HCG comes in again. Hoping to lose 15-20lbs in my first round. Being down to 150lbs would be ideal for me but I know how hard this can be and want to be realistic (especially with summer here aka patio drinks & BBQ). Any way, looking forward to the support and sharing in everyone's successes (& talking through the struggles)!!

    Good Morning Lovelies,

Whelp it's an egg day for me-- going to see if I can get any of this weight to drop off and stay off.

Gypsy: I personally find that after hHCG my thyroid still has that boost for at least 8 weeks. Then it goes away and I have to increase or check my dose. It's subtle for me, but when I am cold and constipated it indicates my dose of thyroid meds is a bit low and that's when the weight creeps back up. So now I feel better and will move forward. I have hashimoto's thyroiditis, which most people have, but sometimes my own thyroid still works, and sometimes it does not. So getting the correct dose all the time is a challenge. This situation is unusual in someone over 50, but that is my story.

Still debating a short round. I think today's egg day results and if they stay will be helpful.

Have a great day and keep losing!

    Warmly,
    RK
