HCG can indeed mess with your cycle. But the effects are temporary and things should be back to normal once you are off it for a while. So sorry you have to deal with it yet again. I remember the misery. But I sure don't miss it.

Natalie, your progress is more than amazing. I'm so happy the round is going so well for you. I think your challenge going forward will be to keep inflammation down.

Thanks Leez! The bloating and the ups and downs are temporary. Iíve done rounds before and I just ride them out knowing thereís a light at the end of the tunnel. Still itís nice to hear Hcg messing with TOM is normal.

I agree with inflammation being the priority to watch for. Being sober has definitely helped with inflammation and choosing the foods i know wonít hurt me.

So I decided to go ahead with lean ground beef today. It is sooooo good. Grass fed and from one of my friends. His family get a cow every year then go to a butcher for the cuts. Yesterday we had steak and today ground beef. I believe it will be okay. I drained the beef and onion with a little water as well.

I love how simple and delicious P2 food can be. I might do a long round this time. My longest was 62 days and I lost 43 lbs. I donít know if thatís wrong or whatever but i felt good all through the round and stopped when my body said enough.
What do you think? Long rounds okay?

Hope everyone is having a good day! Iím cataloging all my vinyl and listing the ones I donít want for sale. Have some good stuff, rares and whatnot...Rolling Stones, Bowie, Madonna, zeppelin, etc.

Some do longer rounds (usually on homeopathics) and feel like they did ok, but its not recommended. There is a 40 dose day maximum for a reason. One of those reasons is to prevent immunity if using RX HCG, but just as important is that stopping at 40 doses or 34 pounds (you can push that to 40 if you have more than 100 pounds to lose) lets your body recoup, recover, and reset at an optimum time in the process. During P2 your liver is working really hard to deal with all the toxins being released by your emptying fat cells, so a longer time on the VLCD is additional stress on that hard-working organ. Additionally, your protein intake has been minimal, and after a certain time, that can cause problems. Especially for healing and for sustaining your muscle mass past the allowed time.

Since you have some compromising conditions, I hope you will take into account that your body is already dealing with those along with the stress of the diet and not push too hard. At the rate you are losing, you may make it to the 34 pound limit before you even complete 40 dose days. You may feel great about going longer now, but closer to the end you may find that you are more than ready to end it. So maybe make another assessment when you get there. Don't forget too, that with skip days, days off for TOM and such, a 40 dose round can actually be 46-48 days of dieting.

Speaking of the liver. I feel like my losses have been so good, because if the fat burner/liver cleanser I'm drinking.
Although I'm not seeing much of an inches loss yet where I want it.
My bra fits way better!! My face has thinned out.
But I really want it of hips and thighs! Only 1/2 inch loss each. I've lost 16 lbs. 10 thru hcg. Day 12.
I have 2 or so doses of drops left. Only been doin twice a day last 3 days.
I checked USPS and new drops should be here tomorrow. Yay!

You can skip your heaviest day if you want to, but you don't have to. Most people don't now. It is an option if you want to extend your round that extra day. Also, with homeopathics, you don't need to skip a day each week, but you can if you wish.

@tanyamac: any support you can give your liver during this process is helpful, so it sounds like you made a wise choice. I like milk thistle. It is an inexpensive herb which is good for liver function and totally benign, so there is no downside to taking it.

    Good morning!
Happy I was down the little bit I was up yesterday plus I lost point for ounces which I will take.
Hoping to lose five more pounds before the end of the month so I can be on P3 when we go camping the first week of July. My birthday is on the 29th and I really like to have a big old juicy fat steak!!

Smile Onion pot, P4 and maintaining weight loss

    Hello

Like roselanoue, I am here for accountability on P4.

I do greatly enjoy reading the posts of everyone. I always learn something or feel akin in travails or cheer along with sucess.

Good vibes, man. (remember Donald Sutherland as Oddball from Kelly's Hero's? Super good movie with a young Clint Eastwood)

I completed my nth round April 3rd, 2020 and for the first time EVER, have kept myself within my 2 lb window in the thereafter. In a deathmatch with 230 extra pounds at the start of my hcg life, I now feel as though, for the first time, I have both the physical healing, the knowledge base gained after daily trial and error along the very long way, as well as the continual mental endurance required to say that I feel very confident I can maintain this weight.

For what it is worth The last two rounds were IM imjections, the last three rounds I ate apples everyday for the first time, and the last round I was 100% POP for the entire round, not my usual 97-99% adherence, and then I only ate a bit more protein or had an extra cucumber. I also had a daily Grammy inflammation smoothie with a lemon, which was a first. I also reached a new low/set point number, which made me very happy.

One thing that really helped me and surprised me as well was that I found that when the onion broth simmered for several hours to begin and then all day, just popping the raw chicken breast into the hot liquid to flash cook, I was surprisingly satiated for many more hours than my usual way of eating. I theorized that there is some more filling fiber available to the stomach when the onion cell walls fully disintegrated with the several hour low boil. The almost disintegrated onions also had a different mouth feel. I added more water to the pot and would have a cup or two of the onion broth during the day, if desired. I soon had the habit of starting my "daily boil" by 9am and returned to the pot during the day for the entire round. I was sometimes hungry when a few times tried a variable...asparagus, with quite a bit more of an empty feeling, so back to the onion pot I went.

Never expecting the satiety factor to be realized once the hcg time frame was completed, I was delighted to find that it has not been the case. I now keep a big supply of onion broth at the ready and use it extensively on the days I want to eat less without feeling at all empty.

Maybe everyone already knows this but I thought I would post my results, just in case.

    Cindy

Wow Harry and Cindy that isn't interesting idea to contemplate for sure.
So I got my drops today so I'm extremely happy!!
I have about 8 days on a 23-day cycle if that's what I want. But I think I will go longer if I don't get the next five lbs off.
I haven't had a stall so expecting one it anytime. I'll do a few years ago I did a whole round without a stall at all! And other times I had a stall every four or five days so you just never know!

Iím up 3.4 lbs from my lowest weight Sunday. Thatís over the last three days. Had a weird two day TOM and now itís over. I had beef Saturday and Sunday. Iím convinced thatís what did it. Ugh!

I hope i can bust through this 3.4 lbs fairly quick and keep losing. Sticking to fish and chicken from here on out.
