LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - Marching Forward in MARCH!!!!

Down 0.4 lbs. not even my whole gain from yesterday. We ate the same dinner as the night before with too much sodium and miracle noodles. This whole week will probably be slow with TOM on his way and lots of sodium and stress. Mr. Savannah lost 2.3 lbs and had 4 peanut butter cookies right in front of me. As always, the men just lose easier.

Fingers crossed that her test comes back negative. All schools in the entire county are shut down through at least March 30, so at least she is not missing out.

I was nervous about that initially. She tested negative to influenza and the health department had to authorize her COVID-19 test around 11:30 am yesterday. The school board announced the closures at the recommendation of the health department at 2 pm so that worked well. I also have a 7 year old in first grade at JES whoís also under the same quarantine until either a negative test, or 13 days from now. Results *should* be back Wednesday.

    * Iím thankful this storm should pass tomorrow and that we have decent acreage so we wonít be on top of each other all week.

So as I mentioned I am now going to do a longer round. I'm not sure if I want to do a planned interruption or just cheat a few days or two after I complete 30 injections. Any input ladies? Is it easier to bounce back from a PI or a Cheat?

I'm just not sure if its worth weaning off the injections for a 1 or 2 day break and then restarting. I cheated my first round and lost without issue .. I was also almost a decade younger lol. I'm not planning on any grand feasts or fast food mukbang sessions lol... But i would like a lil brie (I love this stuff if you couldnt tell by now).. maybe a vodka soda (or 3) at the beach ... a nice dinner out without analyzing the menu and asking 50 questions about how things are prepared ... I mean this is why I moved to miami after all lol

    Thoughts?
I'm not sure if you've decided what to do. Thought I would share my experience on this... Way back in my second or third round, we had the opportunity to attend a free dinner - one of those where they try to sell you something. We went along with another friend of ours. They only had two options to choose from for dinner, not the entire restaurant menu, so I was stuck between a NY steak and chicken. Once the food arrived, I realized that the chicken was most likely cooked in oil or butter, so I didn't eat much of it, but still ended up gaining 1.5 lbs the next day. I guess that qualifies as a Cheat, even though it was unintentional. It took me 4 or 5 days to recover and start losing again.

This last round, I realized I would be in a similar situation mid round, so I attempted a PI - unfortunately, I did not have enough days under my belt to actually do a PI, so that didn't work either. Even though I didn't gain this time, I stopped losing for about a week. Other posters here have done successful PIs (RK, Tracy come to mind). It seems to work for them, so since you've got 30 days in already, it should probably work for you too. That said, I've read where going through the 3 day transition off of hcg twice in one round is mentally tough, it all depends where your head is at...

Guess that wasn't much of an answer, was it...

    Vlcd 9

Its 5:19pm - I literally have not eaten all day (except my protein shake at breakfast). This dumb Covid-19 has turned the world MAD. Between work and instacart I have been glued to computer and phone.

    MAKE IT STOP!

-/+ 0 today the scale fluctuated between a 1lb loss and No loss - I hopped on about 6 times and went with the majority. When this happens I usually see a loss in the next day or two.

I'll circle back at some point after I eat and breathe for 2 min. I'm shot

    Good Afternoon Lovelies,

    My goodness what a Monday!

sdwis: Glad to see you are still around! Surgery can really play with the eating!

Rosey: Hope your inflammation went away. I always find a Planned Interruption helps me when I do a long round. Good Job on the losses! What flavor Premier Protein shakes do you like? I just got some for my dad and he also likes them. Regarding cheating on a PI: my advice is do the 48 hours of eating P2 without HCG when you transition, that is the danger zone where a cheat will mess you up. After the transition when the HCG is out of your system, I have found a cheat is easier to get away with and any weight you gain you will lose quickly when you resume. I have had to do many a PI, oftentimes in a work trip out of the country, and that is what has worked for me. I always find that after a PI I really have to get myself mentally ready to go back to P2 and have a stiff talk with myself. Sometimes it is hard to get my head back in the game. Yes the grocery shopping is awful now!

Roselanoue: Great job with the losses! Is there any federal relief money you could get because of income losses?

Tracy: Great job avoiding a steak day! Yes I agree I have to weigh everyday. I also enjoy whiskey. Just a bit is all I need. Or bourbon....

Pearly: Love bacon! Hope you are feeling better! Wow those antibiotics can really be hard. Yes I definitely think you have some inflammation going on. Hope it goes away quickly!

Savannah: Great job on your losses. How is your kid feeling? I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Gosh I am so sorry about your situation. Can a friend get you groceries and drop them at your door? I agree with Rosey, very important that you and Mr. Savannah don't get this. Yes, I can't believe how easy it is for men to lose weight. Not fair!

Kar: I think You are doing the right thing to end your round. Circulation in the feet is very tricky. Also, I have lost weight in p3/4, a real shock to me. But if you can maintain your loss, I think your body will continue to reshape as mine has.

AFM: My weight loss and stability is the real bright spot for me. I am down another pound. I can't take credit for it. it's not self discipline but the anxiety over all this Corona Craziness. Outwardly I am very calm and cool and jovial for my family, but inside me I feel anxiety really bad. With my 91 year old Dad still finishing his recovery from Pneumonia, I am nervous about getting this and transferring it to him. My mother and Dad do not want to stay home, but they must and so I am making them. Then I found out they invited people over for dinner, tomorrow night, so I made them cancel it. The grocery situation is awful. I have plenty of food, but before this I use to enjoy going grocery shopping for fresh fruit and vegetables several times a week, so I am not use to "stocking up". It is hard to deal with the crowds, shortages etc.

Also, can anyone tell me why people are hoarding toilet paper of all the funny things???? Lucky for me I just happened to pick some up before the craziness hit. Hopefully it will last and things will return to normal!

Well lovelies, I'm sure things will settle down. Hope everyone stays well and continue the losses!

    Fondly,
    RK

When I've been in this situation, I just eat my hcg meal before going to th event and I'm not hungry and don't eat anything there. Or if it's family who are pressuring me to eat, I'll just tell the my tummy is upset so I'll just b drinking water, club soda or tea to try and recover. Everyone always leaves me alone and changes the subject after that. Are you wanting to eat something that badly, or do you just not want to be pressured to eat what everyone else is eating?

In one of my rounds I was actually in Miami during P2. I had an apple for breakfast, drank lots of water, then went to Joe's Stone Crab for dinner where I had the cold seafood platter (stone crab claws, 4 boiled shrimp, spiny lobster tail) with a plain garden salad. I lost 1.6 lb the next day. This was around VLCD 25.

I'm extending my round. Initially I was only doing 30 days - which would have been easy for me. But my plans have changed due to travel cancellations and I can now do a longer round. I'm not craving anything; but I know myself ... quite well lol. Drinks and dinner out .. brie and wine. These things make me happy and I dont wont to get to a point where I feel like Im torturing myself. There are a number of places that I can order p2 foods here ... but who wants to go to fifis and not get her delectable lobster bisque? not me This is about preservation of my sanity more than anything. What I have left of it anyway lol

I like them all - but the caramel is my fav for a "latte" and the peaches and cream tastes like child hood peaches and cream oatmeal.. I love it. The only one I havent cared for is the cookies and cream, but I dont really like cookies and cream anything so I wouldnt hold my opinion on that one too high.

I couldnt even imagine actually going in the store right now. My instacart shopper and I went back and forth on the chat all morning while she ran around finding me replacements since pretty much everything I ordered 3 days ago was out stock. I really think these stores need to be taking into account their pending orders. Its unfair to those of us who are actually limiting our time amongst groups as directed/suggested to get the short end of the stick. Especially if we have to wait so long for delivery.

I'm definitely less puffy around the eyes but we'll see how tomorrow unfolds.

Men... smh lol I'd throw all the cookies out lol right in front of him ... that'll teach him. (This is probably why I'm not married lol ). Sounds like you've got a week or so of water weight ahead of you ... You know what they say ... water in water out!

Please keep us updated on your daughter .. I'm hoping you guys will be back to "normal" soon (nothing is really normal right now though)

i dont know if they all do.. but I said "mainly impact online merchants" . You could always call the one you use and ask. That being said HCG the hormone is not going anywhere. It is used for much more than than the hcg diet.

I went through a local wellness and pain management clinic here in south beach.

Also, lets talk about what is actually happening... HCG will now be classified as a biologic... not a drug. Which means in Theory it should be easier to get. Also this switch is not just happening to hcg... there is a whole list of drugs that are being reclassified due to the ruling. One of which is INSULIN ... I can assure you insulin is not disappearing or going to become scarce.

Jen's post .. imo... was promo. Using this to help a sale on the site she mentioned. That particular place may be impacted ... by i doubt it since the sale runs through march 27th or something like that... while the reclassification goes into effect 03/23.
