Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - Marching Forward in MARCH!!!!

-/+ 0. That makes my 2nd week loss....... 1lb lol. Shouldnt have ordered in for dinner that night I had that tequila but ... I did and here we are lol I had a nice big drop yesterday so I'm content for now. Lets see what week 3 brings

I had a really good chicken "sandwhich" from Burbowl yesterday. Grilled chicken breast, grilled mushrooms and onions, tomato and mustard in a lettuce wrap/bun. Little mayo and avocado would've been nice lol... but I can tackle that in p3. The mustard was def helpful. (Thanks Kar - I forgot I like mustard until you mentioned it the other day lol)

now that I think about I had dinner super late yesterday - probably has something to do with the scale not moving. Stomach still probably breaking it down. I usually try to have dinner btw 5-6. Food is heavy ... it can def show up on the scale in terms of actual weight .. not weight gained via calories.

They ordered all docks and marinas closed yesterday ..... the saga continues

    Happy Sunday Funday ladies!

Rosey, I seem to weigh in heavier when I have dinner at 7:30 pm or later as well. We know why though.

    Kar, tomorrow is bacon day!

Me, I woke up to a one pound loss staying POP and Mr. Savannah to a 1.2 gain.

Yesterday was a tough day emotionally. We had our baby killed and as a result, an 11 year old's pets are going to be surrendered to animal control. He's had trouble containing them for a couple years and our rural neighborhood has lots of livestock small and large. Our property seems to attract the black labs because they like to swim in my pond. I was so tempted to take a shot of tequila. I held strong after great losses yesterday and he didn't. The scale rewarded me for staying strong both with me and him.

congrats on the loss and toughing it out during the emotional havoc. Losing pets is tough. I had two kittens once ... for only a matter of weeks. I ended up having to move home and mom wouldnt let me keep them. I balled like a baby taking them to the pound. I was 22 lol and I didnt even like one the kittens. But.... they were MINE! So I kinda get it. Unfortunately outside of that (and one other attempt at a kitten) I've never had pets. I'm not really animal friendly - I find some of them cute ... but prefer my distance. Are your goats those cute ones I see on the internet that fall over when they are scared?

I did think about getting a fancy rabbit once... but I learned they chew up everything lol

    A Game?

    Hi Dolls,

I had an idea for a little game - or challenge I guess. Since we're all pretty much housebound.

It seems like we are all "vets" on the board .. I thought it might be fun to search our old posts and post some of your funniest or memorable entries. Just a reminder that we've all been here before and have been successful.

Just a thought ... let me know

We have Boer goats. I think they are beautiful goats. Cal Noughton Jr. is the one on the right. We don't have fainting goats because we think they'd be unsafe to predators. Our donkey is supposed to protect them but they were too fast.

LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - Marching Forward in MARCH!!!!

Their sizes vary. The smaller ones are closer to 60-75 lbs where the largest momma's are about 100 lbs.

They all are very playful and love climbing and jumping when playing. Their affection with humans has everything to do with how much interaction they are given young. We have one on a bottle (mom birthed her and ditched her) that is clingier than a dog. When she's out of the barn, she follows us everywhere. She even came out to meet LindaLou when she brought supplies. When we go inside, she'll cry out a minute or two and then rejoin the pack. It's the cutest thing ever.

So cute and very soft. The little one ran right up to me and let me pet her.

Savanna- so sorry to hear that you lost one of them. I'd be heartbroken too. Our friends used to have a llama to guard their herd. Mostly from mountain lions though.

Nice loss today and yay for beating out Mr. S on the weight lost. That's what happens when you follow protocol! Good job!

Welp ... I hopped on the scale and was taken aback ... and not in a good way. + 4.4lbs . How it could it be?! Then I looked at my calendar ... 9 days to TOM just over a week. Sighs .. shoudla known even off of hcg I turn into a water sponge 1 to 2weeks before. So .. I probably won't be weighing myself for a while. Just going to stick to eating clean and keep going. I say I wont weigh myself but we see how that went last time lol.

In other news I'm using my zero water filter for the first time today. It seems slow But I did like that you dont have to rinse or soak the filter forever before you use it. I had a brita years ago and I had to do that. At this rate I should have a gallon of water by new years though...

    Happy weigh ins .... Besos

I Love bacon .. enjoy ... have a slice or 20 for me lls.

I actually used low sodium center cut bacon for a correction day in p3 once and it worked well. If you ever need to try it .. I had my HWC latte for breakfast .. no sugar... and I cooked a whole package of the bacon for dinner. Worked well for me - not sure how my heart liked it though lol. I'd imagine not much more than a huge steak though so #shrugs

I think the general theme for "correction" days in in p3 is high protein high fat no carb after fasting most of the day.
