Good afternoon Lovelies! Crazy busy yesterday and today... I've got clients who are fine with working from home and still making money, and I've got about 30% of them who are being (or going to be) impacted big time. A realtor managing 7 vacation rental properties. A landlord who, whether or not the tenants pay the rent, must still pay the mortgages. A teacher of kids with learning disabilities... Anyway, you get the picture. If they don't make money, they're certainly not going to be able to pay me... I haven't assessed the actual financial impact yet, but trying not to obsess about it.

RK - What a wonderful report! Well, not about Costco, but pretty much everything else! We have a tiny, family run grocery here in town that we've been getting odds and ends from. There is never more than 8 people in there at a time, including the employees and yet they seem to be able to keep their stock up. Even fresh fruits and veggies. I intend to continue shopping there, even after all this is over. They could gouge on the prices, but don't. I bought a large avocado for $2.50 - not bad. I would say they're about 10% more than Safeway, but if I don't have to GO to Safeway, it's worth it.

Rosey - LOL re: "cooking". I rely on the BBQ for meat cooking, and I rely on DH to oversee that I'll cook the salad, thank you.

Savannah - Good job staying on point and on the pound Glad the lifting didn't mess with your losses!

Kar - Yay for P3! It's like a giant reward for being so good!

Tara - Welcome and I agree with everyone else about stabilizing in P3. That's the goal! And you'll have plenty of time after that if you want to drop a few more pounds.

Pearly - Trying times for sure! You are such a trooper in helping your sister out with the kiddos. Glad you're hanging in there... I was thinking about you the other day and the situation with your mom while she was visiting. Soooo happy you guys were able to get her home before all the craziness hit!

Tracy - You haven't checked in in a while. Hope all is well. I just had to share with you that I think of you every time I am in my new kitchen and trying to figure out where I hid everything I think about the story you told about your daughter and when she would move into a new kitchen and "pretend" to cook a meal and put stuff in drawers and cabinets accordingly. I'd never really thought about it that way, but then again I've never had a kitchen with enough storage to have options... Now, when DH is trying to figure out where something is (a spatula, for example) I just tell him, "where are you going to use it?" "On the stove?" "Then look in the drawer next to the stove " LOVE that tip - please thank her!

Anyone I missed, sorry. Good luck to all and happy taco Tuesday (even though there won't be tacos on the menu...)

Good morning lovelies. Todayís weigh in took me down 0.2 lbs. Mr. S and I are sitting at about 14 pounds down after 2 days over two weeks. Mr. S said heís wrapping it up after 3 weeks. I wonít tap in before my 30th injection (27 days VLCD with injections). I had to mix my second bottle last night so this is it. Where I land will be it so Iím still going back and forth in my head as to when Iíll end the round. I have a number in my head, but the reshaping is doing wonders and I may be content prior to. I may have to scratch that number. I have a minimum of 12 days to decide.

    Hello All ...

I didn't weigh again today but I'm considerably less puffy today - I didnt have any pickles yesterday lol. Glad you all are doing well and hanging in there!

Has anybody done Turkey legs (skinless) in p2? Publix was out of all other white meat lol

Savannah - hopefully Mr. Savannah can stick to p3 foods... thats where the cheats can realllly cost you.

    Hey everyone,
I'm checking in! I've got three more days of P3, still in my window. The struggle has been eating enough. With high anxiety and general malaise, I have no appetite or desire to cook. My current three food groups are cheese, crunchy peanut butter and vodka.
Linda, thanks for that memory of Edie in her pretend kitchen!

    Happy Wednesday Lovelies,

Glad to see everyone is hanging in there. Linderlou, glad you like the smaller markets now too! Mine are actually less expensive, but I think some of the produce is "seconds". Organic but not as perfect as Safeway's.
Tracy, Hang in there, love the food groups!
Rosie, I'm sorry I don't know about turkey legs, because I've only done original protocol, but wow they sound delicious!
Savannah: Hang in there! Wow it must be so hard to do this with a partner doing so well and him cheating a bit. I am sure you will hit your number, or be content with the reshaping and do great.
Roselanou Welcome to lockdown! Glad you sold a painting! Congrats!
Pearly How are you? So nice of you to help with the kids! How is your mom doing? Can I have your sisters? ha ha.

AFM: Up a bit(.6) this morning. I ate some "Ok for P4" Foods, and my tummy was not happy, so I know it will disappear.

    Have a great day!

Rk, sounds like you are right on track. I think testing your reaction to foods is a good idea after each VLCD phase of HCG. Exercise is good?

Rosey, good for you in marching on without the scale a few days. Iíve never had turkey in P2. Did you go with it? Howíd it turn out.

Rosey 2.0, quick rebound. Knitting for the NICU babies is such a sweet gift of your time. My MIL does quilting for her local hospitals up in Idaho also.

Kristy, welcome back. I agree that this is a perfect time for hcg (if you can find the fresh ingredients). We are locked down from doing much else.

Tracy, itís nice to know liquor can work in P3. Sounds like youíll transition to P4 flawlessly.

AFM, I caved yesterday and had a couple heavy shots of Patron plus I lifted weights again. I was DEFINITELY going to skip the scale but I need to know how my actions/calculated risk impacts me so I stepped on. Today, Iím down another 0.2 lbs. I kind of consider the last two losses of .2 each kind of like a plateau.

I do have a question... TOM is still not here and was due Saturday. Itís not all that uncommon to go a day or two over the 28 days here or there. Iíve been on a dose of 125 IU (injected) since my last skip day. Now, I understand HCG is used for fertility and Iím getting worried now. My question is if I took a home pregnancy test, would my hcg possibly give me a false reading? Have any of you VETS seen HCG throw anyoneís cycle off a week or more who was NOT pregnant?

Day 17 down 1.2 Total loss to date from orig weight is 9.4 From load weight is 10.6 Very happy with this round... about two more weeks ro go . If 17 more days would bring me to my goal i could easily do this If it slows down then of course i may not, Staying out of my head is a good thing, My appetite right on track

Yesterday made micro premie hats which are for babies around two lbs Then purple butterflies which are given to the parents of twin premies and one didn't make it. Not sure what project i will do today. These are sent to Charli’sLove where they sanitize all garments before sending to hospitals on their list.

Glad to see everyones progress. Stay healthy

This is sort of the end of the month but I'm checking in thinking of doing a 30 day round, well, because of COVID.

For me the hardest part of hcg has always been socializing while on HCG, and since everything has been cancelled for the next month I took some unmixed hcg from the freezer and mixed it up yesterday for injections. Since it's been in the freezer for potentially a very long time, I should probably pregnancy strip test it. I did one day of fat loading yesterday. Should I do two? (I feel pretty fat. I ate a whole pizza. And that was just dinner.)

I lost about 30 pounds of post partum baby weight jan/feb of 2019, but I've gained 15-20 back. I need to get back on the wagon.
