Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - Marching Forward in MARCH!!!!

    Good Morning Dolls,

The actual losses have started - stinking load weight gone. 1.2lb down from yesterday. .8 down from Pre-load weight (which will be my base for losses/gains from this point forward). I'm treating the load weight like my ex ... it never happened - never existed lol #poof

I adjusted my dose yesterday down to 175/180 Can't really tell on the syringe. Was getting slightly hungry at night - which never happens. Not ravenous or anything but just unusual for me even when i've been on super low cal plans before. I'll see how to today goes.

Barely got a gallon of water in yesterday - probably just under. Going to be more cognizant of that today... the best losses are always when youre well hydrated.

Got up to 718 calories yesterday - thanks to turkey cutlets at dinner and protein shake I sipped throughout the day in my tea (turns out they make a not too shabby chai latte). I'm just a bit nervous about them; I know they are "approved" for hcg 2.0 but I really hope they dont stall me. Lets see how it goes. I might cut them week 2 and see if I see a difference.

Savanah - hard seltzer everyday sounds like my kinda party lol... Alcohol and caffeine will def bloat you(heart problems or not). I can attest to this. I spent my first year in Miami on a Patron and Cafecito diet lol. How was your road trip - were you able to stick to your protocol?

Ladies may you all have a great day - regardless of where you are at in your Journey. #cheers

Pearly - we want to see the dress!

Tracy - I know what you mean about the day getting away from you! Especially in P3/P4 and beyond, since there are no exciting losses to post about. Hope your tummy troubles resolve themselves.

Savannah - I'm about 130 miles from SF. Where are you driving from/to?

84Rosey - Well, at least you identified the water retention culprit. I tried the canned chicken once - blech! I cook my own or go for the plain chicken in the deli section. At least it doesn't have a nasty (to me) smell and flavor. Otherwise I cook my own plain chicken breast in organic broth with garlic powder, cube it and put in snack baggies. I cook enough to last a week, so not a big chore.

Kar - It's just your fat cells hanging onto water... Remember that graphic Christy used to post for us all the time?

Roselanoue - Good to hear from you. Sorry you are back up and need another round. Getting into the right mental space is Soooo important. I'll be joining you in a couple of weeks...

Pearly - Ick, sinus infection. Not fun at all, but it does account for TESS being stubborn. Hope you are on the mend quickly. P3 on Saturday - yay - wear that dress!

AFM: Nothing new to report, but I wanted to say Hi to everyone! Have a Great Day!
    Linder,

It does have a weird consistency and odor - def doesnt scream fresh organic chicken when you crack the cans open lol. but I've always found them great for chicken salad in the past and I reallllly hate weighing out stuff. So I figured I'd try it lol #epicfail

    Woohoo for losses!!!

YES! I doubled my ground beef when I made taco meat to eat with my bed of lettuce Monday night and brought that with a sliced apple. When I arrived, it was around 11:30 am and had my salad for lunch and snacked on an apple on the way home which only took a little over 3 hours. I came home and made buffalo chicken with chili powder mixed into my Frank's Original Hot Sauce over a bed of sliced celery that was ready around 7:30 pm. This morning, I was down 2 lbs. Phew!

I'm on 150 UI of HCG and it seems to be working well. I'm only hungry at meal Time so I've been skipping one fruit and my starch.

My hubby is down 4 pounds after 2 vlc days and he's been eating the same as me so I know quite a bit of these initial big losses for me are water. I'll still take it because that water isn't sticking to my arse and gut now. Lol

Men always seem to have better losses ... and I read somewhere they are less prone to cellulite .... hmmpphh lol. Glad you stuck it out - i know road trips can make you want to snack. Congrats on the 2lbs!

Do you want to cook for me? lol i'm over here with turkey cutlets and canned chicken ctfu. Your recipes sound great! I'm not doing fruit or melba at all (2 vita gummies in the Am have about the same sugar as a quarter of 1 large grapefruit though). my body responds well to low carb - I eat that way regularly now anyway. Some women don't - It makes them rebound. something to do with hormones. i think there are a few threads on it in here.... just something to keep in mind

tell Mr. Savannah to come chat with us lol The more the merrier

Rosey, I have read those threads too. I have Hashimoto's and estrogen dominance, so I try to be careful on the hormone front. Mr. Savannah has childhood diabetes, so he needs all the starch and sugars of the diet spread throughout the day in order to not fall into hypoglycemia/seizure. He was pretty physical at work in the afternoon and glucose started crashing on his way home. He had to eat an extra fruit to bring it up quickly yesterday. Scares me with his commute. I invited him to join. Hopefully he will this weekend but his work and commute schedule will keep him a bit scarce. :|

Do you live in California Gold Country? I can cook you lunch one day. I can share recipes I cook and like too.

Tonight, I'm making chicken and asparagus stir fry since Amazon is delivering my Bragg's Liquid Amino's. I'm probably going to add a package Miracle Noodles to a double batch since Amazon is delivering them today as well. Not sure of how I'm seasoning/saucing it yet. Going for my first rogue meal.

Here's the buffalo chicken recipe I use. The picture in not what it looks like. I do add water as I cook it to keep the sauce liquidy to flavor up the celery.

Savannah - I live in Miami but youre so sweet to offer. I dont really cook anymore my kitchen is tiny and hot lol (the things we give up to be walking distance to the beach). I single-handedly keep doordash in business.

Did a dr clear your hubby? I'd think the calories would be way too low for a diabetic. Glad he was ok and fruit handy!

LAST Day, LAST Dose! Still right where I have been for the past week, but I cannot complain on how my clothes fit, so I will strive to remember it is just a number! Now 72 hours of transistioning and P3 here I come.

My Whole Goal for this round is to get to P4 unscathed and FINALLY figure that out. I do eat low carb most of the time, except when I am tired or sick or stressed and that's when the JUNK lands on my head and I eat my way out. i.e. cookies to take antibiotics. However, they were teeny short bread at 5 carbs each.

I have a recipe for shortbread cookies with almond and coconut flour sweetened with erythritol that I have been meaning to try if I ever get to P4. However, it runs in my mind it might be 5 carbs per cookie! LOL.

    Great losses every bunny!
    Onward!

Pearly, P3 is always exciting. Congrats on an unscathed P2...and the dress!

Rose, his endocrinologist wanted him to lose 25 pounds, but he didn't ask for permission to do the protocol. He basically jumped on board with me because I do all the thinking and prepping and shopping. Lol. He did my last round with me in 2014 with great success.

Savannah, (your name is one of my very favorite cities in the whole world, btw!)

It sounds like your hubby knows how to handle himself, but hypoglycemia is sure no joke. I am not diabetic, but started this whole regime several years ago to keep from getting there, as I was edging toward pre-diabetic. and 50 pounds overweight. It (diabetes and the 50 lbs!) runs in my family, so I take it seriously.

I am that rare bird who is hypoglycemic without the actual diabetes, so while a hypoglycemic attack is probably not life threatening for me, it still throws me for a loop for the rest of the day and sometimes several days. I feel for him. Just be sure he gets the calories and protein he is supposed to for his weight and gender (which is not fair, cuz he gets MORE!) and it may actually help his numbers in the long run, from both the weight loss and from learning to pace his food out throughout the day.

One of the reasons I like this protocol is that unlike many who think hcg is just an appetite suppressant, I can really see a difference between not being hungry from a suppressed appetite and really not being hungry from using the fat in my body to sustain me on a low calorie intake. If I were to take appetite suppressants and eat this low calorie --even on P2.0 I only average 600-700 calories a day-- I would be moaning in bed with a sick headache, shakes, back pain and dizzyness on about day 2 and would not be able to continue. This stuff is not a 'trick' to make you eat less. IDK, maybe the homeopathic drops are a different matter. People do lose on them, but not sure if it is the same process or not. No judgement intended, I just don't know.

Good for you that you can do this as a couple. I know there are many, many on this thread who both wish their hubby would lose a few elbees and/or do not get support to do this from them. You a winner!

    P

PS: Amazing how, when working on my novel, I easily write five paragraphs here when I'm stuck and can't think of three words to write THERE. LOLl.

LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - Marching Forward in MARCH!!!!

Pearly, thank you for your insight and the sweet motion of my name. Do you live in Geogia? I agree with everything you said. He gets sweaty, irritable/honery, weak, and confused with very low blood glucose. If not corrected, he will seize. Being that he builds elevators for a living, it's critical. He's done really well since getting the FreeStyle Libre but the sensors are expensive! I'm gonna try to have him add an extra meat serving daily of fish or something.

I agree that I'm very fortunate he's willing to get on board with me. My cousin has tried starting twice this year and failed to stick to it with a whiny husband.

P.S. Mr. Savannah has gotten a lot more supportive after he had to give me CPR after I suffered cardiac arrest two years ago and they thought that I was brain dead for five days. My mother is a fighter and refused to accept that and wouldn't let my husband accept that it was over for me either. I'm here today because the two of them.

    hcg 2.0

Does anybody know if you count the net carbs or total carbs in hcg 2.0.

I got some alfalfa sprouts (yummmm) they are pretty much all fiber but they are high in protein for a vegetable.

    Good Evening Lovelies,

So sorry I have been AWOL Monday and Tuesday, Long week with the parents but things are hopefully going to get better. I was up 2 pounds over my LDW on Sunday, so Monday was a steak day and I lost 2.4 pounds so happy to still be that weight. Today is Day 1 of P4. Gosh I really don't know what I am doing in P4. Looking forward to catching up with everyone so now I will read back!

Hope you are all doing well and staying healthy!

    Fondly,
    RK
