Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - MOTIVATED in MAY!!!!

  1. #109
    Good evening everyone!

WOW! This page seems to really be picking up the last 24 hours. I'm excited there's a good number of us on here.

LinderLou- YES I agree, reading the old threads is very helpful! I find them fun to read throughout the day just to be inspired and learn new things about the protocol.

Hi Maxi- It looks like there's a number of us who have 50-70 pounds to lose and we are all within 1-2 days of each other in P2. I'm on VLCD3. I think this is great, we will all be able to be on the journey together and support each other. Are you shooting for a 23-30- or 40 Day round? I too did this 6 years ago and it worked like magic.

Natalie - Yowsers! 4 pounds down on VLCD 3? That's incredible. I can lose that on day 1, but by day 3 I'm down to a 1-2 pound loss. That's just incredible. Are you on of those women who can lose 25-30 pounds in one round? I wish I could! I'm a slow loser, but that's ok, I tend to feel so good while on HCG.

Savannah- I LOVE Twain Harte. I've been coming up there every summer for the past 30 plus years. We rent a cabin for a week every summer and spend our days at the Lake and mini golfing. I love how the town has barely changed. You are so lucky to live in all of that beauty!

Rkthin- have you cut out fruit? I recall from previous rounds that 1-2 days of just protein and veggies would get me back under LIW - especially if I was 5 pounds above. Just basically eating meat all day when hungry (as gross as that sounds!)

AFM, today was VLCD 3. I have been feeling happy and wonderful on HCG. I forgot how much better I feel with this little hormone lift. I wish I could feel this way always. I was a bit too hungry today, I did 125 IU. I am going to drop down to 110 IU tomorrow. When I did a few rounds 6 years ago I found 110 IU was my sweet spot. The last couple days were fine and then soon after my shot today I've just had a lingering hunger that has been with me all day since about 8 AM. Hungry within a few minutes after eating. I believe that means too high of a dose?

I'm sooooo glad to be back on track. I've been trying for years to get motivated and get the weight I gained back off. I finally feel like I'm there. I had hit rock bottom with a lot of things in my life. Strange how once you hit rock bottom there is nothing left to do but sore and transform! I was basically stuck in grief that last 5 years. Its like I had stopped living. I did the daily grind of going to work etc. but I don't even know where the years went. I wasn't present. Certainly not in my body. I'm feeling present now and awake. The grief is passing. TIME TO LIVE. I'm so excited about this next years and my HCG journey. There is nothing I need to do but putter around the house, do HCG, organize cabinets and shelves. I love how during HCG I find lots of home projects to fill my time. I look forward to that part actually. OK, see y'all tomorrow! Sleep tight!!

    Good Afternoon Lovelies,

Wow everyone is doing great and that is wonderful news. Natalie and Levesquem you are doing great! Unless it is a steak day I keep in fruit so I don't tank my adrenals.

Good News here! My loss has held and I can tell that I am releasing even more weight. Even better I seem to not have the cravings I had before my steak day. I am also drinking a lot of herbal tea, and dandelion tea to flush out anything from the awful steroids. I am also tracking what is going into my mouth on my fitness pal just to keep vigilant until I get back in my range. I think next week I will do another steak day to get back down to my LIW, or maybe an egg day. Depending on my hunger level and what I need to do that day. I can't go to any grocery stores on a steak day or the most ridiculous items seem like a good idea. I do think I have slightly better losses on a steak day? But I could be wrong.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and stays on track! Or has fun with now damage!

    Fondly,
    RK

Rk, good advice on the fruit. After my egg day, I'm doing 2 days of high fat/protein. I maintained the weight loss from my egg day and lost another .4 lbs. Down to 151.8, which is exactly 3 lbs over my LIW. After the 2 days of post correction day strategy, I'm going to eat P3 normally for probably 2 days, then maybe do a steak day if I'm not back to LIW. I'm only a few days away from P4 and I'd like to be at LIW by then, but if I'm not, it's not the end of the world to me as long as I stabilize close to it. At least I know what to do to get there.

Natalie, I think you probably are experiencing detox symptoms as you said. It sucks, but it's part of the process sometimes. Hang in there, you're doing great and it'll get better.

    VLCD6 - down 14.8 lbs

Released 3 lbs just over last night. I havenít lost this much in week 1 in my past rounds. Itís bananas!

I feel different. More energy, no more headaches. Even my neuropathy has eased a bit. Iíve been afraid of driving due to the neuropathy and I did a test drive yesterday and right foot could feel pedals moreso than before. I feel happier and more hopeful. Iíve been busier getting my house in order, selling things i donít need, purging things . I love this Hcg high.

I feel like I can definitely keep this up another 3 weeks but Iíve done longer rounds successfully in the past, so i may go longer depending on how i feel.

Cant wait to try on some smaller size clothes soon! Iíve basically been wearing leggings and xl tshirts for the last several months. It will be nice to have other options!

Happy Saturday to you all and best of luck with the weekend. Weíre all in this together and we can do it!

Wow Natalie, that is an amazing first week loss. You must had some massive inflammation and that is coming down. So important for those of us with auto-immune issues. Getting inflammation down is THE key to getting back to balance. Lower inflammation might be why your neuropathy has diminished some. So happy for you, you must be feeling so much better already.

LOVELY LOSERS 2020 - MOTIVATED in MAY!!!!

Leez, I am feeling soooo much better! My tennis shoes fit with more ease and I can be on my feet for longer periods without pain. I can feel the car pedals waaay better, enough that I can run some of my errands now rather than asking for help all the time. I definitely have more independence back and that is exciting.

Yeah, I definitely did have a lot of inflammation. Plus Iím completely off alcohol - today is my 75 day mark of sobriety. I made the choice to go to rehab in March after detoxing in the hospital and learned I had pancreatitis. Hopped into inpatient right after that. Best choice I ever made! Alcohol possessed me- I have no control whatsoever over it so itís gone for good. Now I do outpatient group which is amazing and weekly aa meetings. My life is completely different from three months ago.

It will be interesting to see my losses in the second week and if I have more inflammation to go. Onward!
