However, I do have a strange thing to report that's TMI: I had an orange oily discharge with my BM this morning. This has never happened before to me, and I can't think of any oils I've ingested or put on my skin to have caused this. I did eat about 1.5 grape tomatoes roasted on the orange roughy with fennel; a red grapefruit; and a tiny bit of vegetable stock that was in the braised red cabbage (with shrimp) I'd prepared and ate. But I've eaten that throughout P2 and never had this happen. That's what I had yesterday. Any idea why this happened? A quick google search suggested this is malabsorption. I wonder if it's related to HCG. Is my body just done with it? I mean today was my last injection, so it's right on time. . . .

Any experts out there able to help give me some insight? Leez? I'm a little bit concerned, especially as I approach P3 and adding in more fat to my diet. I would hate to see myself unable to absorb fats now!

Intuitively, I've been feeling like I need to add digestive enzymes to my daily supplements, so I ordered some. Maybe they'll help?

    TIA!
Do you think you might be in ketosis MissM? Asking because one of the things that happens with ketosis is you will sometimes notice globules of oil floating atop your urine, or after elimination. Its extra fat being released in that case. The orange part could be pigment from the tomatoes.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it continues. At that point you can start exploring the malabsorption theory. Don't be afraid to consume fats in P3 though, they are important to your success in stabilizing. Especially the first few days when its hard to get enough calories in otherwise, because your capacity is still low from P2.

Oh, this is so helpful, Leez. Thank you! Yes, I have all the signs of ketosis, including breath that smells like medicine, my bff informed me.

I will not be afraid of fats then when I begin P3 Saturday. Thank goodness, because I already have big plans for delicious things!

Good morning, friends. Scale is down to 144 this morning after a significant and NORMAL (thank you very much!) BM, though yesterday was my last injection. Que sera, sera.

My pureed celery soup is divine, and I have plenty for today and tomorrow as well as air fried chicken breast and orange roughy with fennel. So my remaining two vlcp days are all set.

After tomorrow I'll be taking my posts over to the P3/P4 thread Yvonne started for us. I want to be mindful that everyone else here is on P2 and not try to confuse things. But I'll pop over to see how folks are doing!

    Good morning all.

Vlcd6 today, weight has been stalled out at 168 for two days but that's ok I am going into TOM. Hunger has decreased substantially thank goodness. I am moving really quickly through this three week round and am down 4.5 lbs so far. I should be wrapping up just before Thanksgiving and while I told myself it would be a short round I am wondering if maybe I should just make Thanksgiving a planned interuption and give it another week after. Hopefully weight will start dropping off again soon!

TOM reeked havoc with the scale for me during my round, and I had two 4-day stalls. Both resulted in decent drops eventually. I hope that's the case for you!

I would probably do it with an interruption. Seems that longer rounds just gel better!
