Hi Misscast... welcome to our group
And happy to hear that you have had a successful P3 and P4.... i did a few rounds a number of years back and admit that this time my main focus eill be on P3 and be sure to lock the weight in correctly this time and strangely this round I did not gain in P1. Either and had a great week one but a slower week 2 and 3... good luck!

That was all I was buying, and the butcher knew this, but didn’t bother telling me during our umpteen discussions about it that it would be processes with extra solution, quick frozen, in a bag chicken. Sugar in the solution... I can’t eat it! $1.39/lb doesn’t matter. It could be free, and I wouldn’t take it right now.

I passed up chicken last week because of this sale, and now I have nothing to bbq today. This is my prep day, and hubby was going to man the grill to show his support. We are thawing the last 10 pounds of chicken from the freezer now, but will have to cook them tomorrow, and then try to find a reasonable deal on some breasts when I am in the valley for my dentist appointment Monday... drooling all over the store if they actually get me numb .

Well, off to cook my first VLC meal. I have 10 pre-portioned shrimp servings, so I will “sauté” one with arugula, Bragg’s Aminos, and a bit of green onion added at the end.
That sucks on the chicken sale
Your meal sounds good! Arugula is a great idea! Hadn't thought of it!

Came down with a cold, I think, so lying low. Put some turmeric in my lemon-garlic scallops with steamed cabbage/onion/apple, and willing it to heal the crud. Not 100% sure scallops are allowable, but I'm considering them a white fish and seem to be doing OK with them.

    Happy Sunday, all!
Yes, you are! Your meals sound good! Veal is allowed. Are scallops breaded? You may get more egg/breadcrumbs than allowed.
Cabbage and apple, yum! Gave me an idea for a red cabbage dish

    Healing wishes!!

Everyone seems to be doing well and it's nice to see people starting P2 around the same time as me and at around the same weight. I look forward to tracking all of your progress.

I'm R2P2D2 and down .6LB. I was in P3 and P4 for 3 weeks each before starting this round. Didn't gain anything in P1 so concerned I didn't get enough fat in to tide me over. Kind of hungry but the HCG sense of well-being has already kicked in.
    Welcome!
I have often wondered about taking a drop or so of HHCG (which is what I am on) every day for ever LOL I know exactly what you mean with that sense of well-being!

    Thank you!!

Definitely no breading or egg of any kind with the wild caught frozen scallops. Definitely within the protein/calories of other whitefish, maybe even lower cal.

I am eating A LOT of cabbage. But I usually do. Love the stuff!

I got confused with veal scallops! I may try scallops this P2 as well!

Lost almost half of my enormous loading gain the first night. Hoping for the rest to be gone tomorrow, but with a 8.2 pound gain, it may take a third day to be back to loading weight. In the grand scheme of things, it won’t matter, as long as I don’t let it matter to me. I am choosing to focus on the long range view... positive attitude and gratitude are my goals this week...
I am Roni (Ronnie) I am finally giving REAL RX HCG INJECTIONS "A SHOT"

I have scallops in the freezer as well but I cannot think of how to cook it without going off protocol, I like them lightly seared in butter and possibly server with a butter sauce so would rather leave it as a treat In P3

I've been lightly steaming them with shredded cabbage in broth. Not quite as wonderful as seared in butter, but still a nice treat IMHO. I also have been marinading them in lots of fresh garlic and either fresh lemon or orange juice with different herbs.

Holding steady at 158 this morning. Still feeling pretty cruddy with this cold, but I did get a decent night's sleep.

Worried I have so little liquid left for my injections. Three left, but it doesn't look like there will be enough. Maybe that's just how it looks.

Cheers to my last week of P2. Last injection Thursday, and last 500-calorie day on Saturday. Looking forward to making my way in P3!

Think I will hang in there for P3 as a treat..... I had some

I stocked up on Pangasius yesterday... it is fairly newish on the SA scene but for the past 5 years or so a lot of restaurants use it instead of hake...decide today to panfry with a bit of Braggs and it was so yume...can have for lunch every day!
