Pleased to report the scale moved a little more significantly in the right direction: 147.6. I might just make it to 145 this round after all. Still trying to let go of the outcome, but clearly not all that successfully, lol.
I prepared my food for the next three days and have very nearly packed the kitchen now. Will leave out one saucepan to heat my food and coffee. Everything else goes in boxes. I'm getting there!
I feel like I'm getting there in all kinds of ways. It's amazing to me how HCG has been part of the process of everything falling into place for me. Even though it's been seriously stressful times for me during this round, in many ways, not having to deal all that much with food and hunger has relieved a lot of stress. I really have come to love P2, and I honestly think I'll miss its simplicity and ease.

I totally agree, while the small amount of food we can have in P2 is a pain, it's still nice to be able to have two meals, fruit, and plenty of beverages and still lose weight. It becomes a hit or miss and sometimes a sense of frustration in P4 when you sometimes don't know what or how much you can eat without gaining.

Good morning all! I am back for a second round this year, I ended P2 in September and did not do P3 well. I was pretty proud of myself, I went from 187 to 167ish (lowest weight during the round was 163 but it was one day and the next my weight was back to 166. Dehydrated much?) But stopped weighing in because I wasn't doing well and it was making me feel super bad. Then my scale ran out of batteries. Anyways. I started loading yesterday and may do a 3 day load as my day off is tomorrow so that would be nice to have a fatty day. Starting at 173 today, no idea where I was yesterday haha. Going to do a 21 day round, I think going longer makes me not do well in P3 mentally because I'm over it lol.
Thanks for reading, hope everyone is doing well.
Welcome back Emily
Sorry P3 did not go well for you...
I am sure Leeze or Coco will start a November group soon Just stick it out good or bad... just be accountable when you do wrong and don't do it again...
Short round or long round is a matter of personal choice, one of our October girls was going to do a short round and then ended up doing the complete round and she has had amazing losses in that extended period.... I prefer doing a long round generally because of the wait in between rounds, I prefer 1 P3 and P4 rather than doing 2 3 4 2 3 4.......
And trust the process, no matter what the scale says.... If you know you did good trust it.... if you messed up...fess up!

Yep, I'm the October gal who ended up doing a longer term round and am SO GLAD I did. Welcome back, Emily! Thanks for sharing your experience. Every time I read about someone who doesn't do well in P3 it's an important cautionary tale with lessons for me as I endeavor to begin my first P3 in about a week.
The scale for me did that funny trick y'all have talked about here. I woke up super early and weighed exactly the same as yesterday. I bathed, read, then went back to sleep for a while. Got up again, peed again, and the scale dropped 1.2 pounds!
So that brings me down to 146.4, just 1.4 away from my goal of 145 for this round.
Put on a pair of jeans that were unwearable they were so tight and now they're loose. This is unprecedented for me. I'm thrilled!
Continuing to pack today and will bring over the rest of my refrigerated food, wall art, and lamps to the new house today. It's really getting there. The new chapter is beginning. . . .
This is so true and probably the main reason why I will go back to keto. I know exactly what I can eat, and will just have a treat on the weekend and watch the scale. I find it unsettling to do anything else because I feel lost in what I can and cannot eat, especially since my few attempts to having more carbs have been unsuccessful. I could find someone to do keto rehab with me LOL but it works and I have no adverse effect (quite the opposite) so why mess with a good thing?
I love round numbersfor LDW! Fingers crossed! Hope the move goes well! I love reading about your process. I do love it too for that reason. A reset in many ways. Bad habits had crept in since March and I am back to being motivated. Feeling so much better. Can wear many clothes with confidence again. I do plan on keeping the simplicity for weekdays. I think I am going to plan it the same way as P2.
Good luck, Emily! Hope it goes well for you! We have been talking a lot about the importance of P3 lately. There is a separate thread even. Maybe it offers some help. I do think it helps to think about this diet to be more than P2. It's all of it. In fact, P3 may be the most important part, so yeah, your head has got to be in it for sure! So think of even 21 days as at least 42, and adding P4 for three weeks and making sure all is fine, 63 days. It is worth it!!!
