Hi all,
I'm Jenny. I'm not new here, but I haven't posted much and haven't even lurked a lot lately since I thought for sure HCG was done for a year or so ago. I got on here on a whim yesterday and was soooo happy to find that places are offering it for sale again! I have done the diet a handful of times over the past 10 years, with varying results (mostly good but never as good as that first time!). I started with Celeste drops years ago, used
Nu Image drops last year that I'd held onto for almost a year before mixing up (struggled and ended up gaining). I started LDN at the beginning of the year for inflammation and ended up with a reactivated EBV infection that I have been fighting ever since (also explaining the thyroid issues, and why thyroid meds didn't fix anything). Anyway, I saw someone mention
Intermountain Health drops (I can't afford the injections), and hopped on and ordered those yesterday. They should be here just in time to start the end of next week when I am ready.
I've been reading the hhcg drops page and also about the pellets and am fascinated. I already use homeopathy, so I understand generally how that works. My last round on drops was terrible-- I was hungry all the time. I never occurred to me that it might be bc my dosage was too high. I'll be curious to see how that goes this time, and I came here so that I can have other smarter than me people help me figure that out. I've put on 35 pounds in the past 3 years (sitting at 190 as of this morning), some of which was emotional stress (gets me every time!), some was the failed diet, some was from covid lockdown, and some is just the day-to-day stress of having both disabled young adult children and elderly parents to care for, in addition to starting law school last fall. I have a big pile! But the stress and the weight all need to go! I'll be 48 in August, and it gets harder with every year to get weight off. At 5'7, I'd be happy if I could get the 35 back off, but ideally, I'd like to drop 45-50, since upper 130s-140 is where I have historically felt my best.
Anyway, I'm really happy to be back and to have this opportunity again and know this is the place to help me make it work!
