Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Good morning (still morning on the west coast). I was down .8 today so 158.2. Total of 11.6 on the 6th day of VLCD. This first week is always dreamy! I got my lipo shots yesterday and am waiting on my perfect aminos. I’m injecting hcg and then b12 and now lipo!
I mixed a batch for my best friend yesterday. She’s been my ride or die for almost 14 years!! She’s the best and I hope she jumps in here. The anxiety of new people can get her a little timid but I knows she’ll say “hi”. I told her y’all are awesome, nice and you know a crap ton about everything. She’s watched me do this diet a million times so I told her to join me.
For all you experts, she is 49 and experiencing a ton of fatigue, thyroid crap and pain. I know dropping an initial 20-30 will help as it did for me! So Liz, who is loading today, please get on here and and chat. These women are super knowledgeable on hcg, sluggish thyroid, inflammation and so much more. I figured if I tossed you in the pool you would come up for air [emoji3531][emoji12][emoji2370]

Phoebe, I know those commercials are tempting. I get weak in the knees whenever an ad shows melting cheese. Melting cheese on a burger, pizza, banana - I want it! I stopped eating Jimmy John's (a delivery staple at my old job) when I learned the CEO had a hobby of trophy hunting elephants, rhinos, zebras. Terrible stuff.

AFM I'm down .2 and in the 60's, just barely, 169.8. But what a motivator! I would love to be part of the club that loses impressively in weeks 5 and 6. I went on a tea buying spree yesterday and sweet Natalie came to mind. She loves her tea! Charlie, I know you are friends with her, please give her my best and I hope she's doing well. Music and tea, always reminds me of her!

I'm going to visit a few girlfriends today that I haven't seen since last June. We've always celebrated our time together with wine, wine , wine. I am bringing my tea, tea, tea! Wish me luck, luck, luck!

JGD, I'm right where you are, .4 above LDW. I think we are doing great! Happy Mothers Day to you, too! Going to dinner at a friend's house tonite to celebrate another friend's anniversary--so I'll be sharing in adult beverages too, and plan on having a bit of the blueberry dessert I am taking! So while on entree level, plan on p3 (sure they will have either steak or fish) but will stray with drink and dessert! Here's hoping our weekend does do too much damage. Are all foods calorie-free Mother's Day Weekend? Wouldn 't that be nice!

Just have to keep my eyes on the big picture!!

Phoebe, Great job on losses! i haven't told my daughter about being on hcg either. She is another one just says, cut down, exercise, nada, nada, nada.....That doesn't work so well with everyone. And this year, for Valentine's Day, and now Mother's DAy, I said none of my beloved Sanders carmels! (My absolute favorite). We got this, I am actually in a planned interruption (.4 above last dose weight) and will be going to friends for dinner tonite, so not sure how good the 1st of week weigh-in will be, but hope to say within my window! Hope your losses this weekend are generous! Happy Mothers Day!

Love the visual Polly! Loss of .8 might not be as great as over 2 lbs, but it is almost a lb, and looks like it didn't take back some of the 2 lb loss! That's all great! Have a great weekend, Polly.

Wonderful quote. Those we lose do live on in our hearts and memories. Will be interesting to see how far you go down these next few days--then refresh our memories on total lost for round? Good luck, sweetie, and good luck on the tea instead of wine--you can do it. I'm gearing up for adult beverages tonite, dinner with friends, wish me luck on not too much damage. Only a couple of weeks remaining on P2? It's been a while since I did 40 days at a time--but seems my losses do slow down quite a bit--then when I'm ready to transistion will pick up and I think, what if I go on? Frustrating. I am with Phoebe, but it is the Jersey Mike's sub sandwich COMMERCIAL that has me salivating! I mentioned that to DH one night. At my job, we had the best Jimmy Johns by our office--and we all discussed dropping them after hearing about the CEO's trophy hunting, but we were food/convenience driven and prone to rationalization that they were individually owned by local people. Shame on us! Since I quit tho, am not eating Jimmy John's, the one close to me is not that great. I just recently entered the 60's too, this morning at 168.8--and for some reason I feel a lot smaller at that weight than 170, and it is not much different. We are so mentally into TESS! Enjoy your time with friends this weekend!

Hello gals~ Just a quick check in, I made an hcg tomatoe crab bisque yesterday for lunch and boy was I bloated. The receipe called for 2 cups of chicken broth, looking at the ingredients, looked like everything was hcg ok at only 10 cals a cup....but #neveragain! I felt bloated all day and into the evening....next time I need to look at the sodium. Not at all surprised this morning that I was up .4#. Oh well...ya live and learn. I think I need to stick to very simple plain meals during hcg, which I am good with. Onward I go.

I need to bake some sugar free brownies for my mom and we are all heading down to her place today to celebrate Mother's Day. Hope you all have a great day!
