Tracy, step away from the PB! I will if you will! It is not your fault I ate the last 2 inches out of a jar, but you did kinda remind me it was there! LOL. Mrs. Strong, You are absolutely right. PB is not on P3 and it’s actually not on P4. It’s on P nothing! I had a bad day. Bad Pearlie. Sit.
The only reason I even had it in the house was I made cookies for the dogs that were supposed to be soft. Turns out myDogs are not that fond of peanut butter cookies. Since they also have pumpkin and carrot—No sweetener, no chocolate chips nothing— I have to admitThey are not very good.
It is too soon yet to add almond butter!
Day 1 P3,I added an avocado to breakfast, a tsp of mayo to tuna salad, had chicken thigh and leg instead of breast, with a couple spoons full of green chile sour cream chip dip as a dip for the chicken. So, basically — added dairy.
I had blackberries for dessert, but I have had berries a time or two in P2 and often in PI. I wait 2 hours after and before eating anything fat to eat fruit, like Suzanne Somers recommended. I include them in my carb count.
Not enough calories yet. Still figuring this all out. I was on P3 eating two weeks ago, but after being on P2 again, I’ve lost track on how to do this! But I was inching up during Transition days and am back down to a reasonable .8 over LDW.
I am still jobhunting, by the way. I have had a contract to do some newsletters for two livestock associations for years. It’s on the side, and I’ve done it when I had full-time jobs and when I was in between. It certainly helps but it’s just a little extra, not a living! I’ve gone eight years without missing a deadline, but sure missed it on Tuesday. Doesn’t count because it wasn’t my fault!
