Hi everyone!
Well, last night’s little wild marinated meat dinner was fine. Stayed at 165.4.
Today’s lunch was 2 eggs omelet with pepper, broccoli, and cheese with a green salad with tomato and feta.
Tracy, sorry you need a steak day. Always sucks but such a nice tool. I’d think that steak in any form would work the same. Good luck!
Nice drop, Dubbles! This was my experience also! I kept dropping.
RK, healing wishes for your back!
Phoebe, fantastic round!

Cabbage is bad for me too, unless it's raw in a salad. For some reason, I can eat a lot of veggies raw(tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower), but once they're cooked even if just steamed and plain with nothing else added, I still gain big. Cooking these foods must change the composition to where my body no longer tolerates them.
I’m here and I am almost in my PI but I pushed the limits last night and had short ribs and half and half and almond butter an was at 150.8. I almost think my body needed the fat. Will be P3 for about a week then the final push to get below 150 for some wiggle room. Stay tuned [emoji12]

Tracy: I don’t do cheese on the burger because sometimes I can be sensitive to cheese, ( depending on how far into P3 I am) or it can cause a small gain.Bacon so long as it has no sugar is OK. Also I load on the avocado!
Gosh I eat cooked cabbage in P2! I will have to consider if it hurts my losses! Thanks everyone for the tip! I don’t eat it raw because raw cabbage and raw Brussels sprouts iare not good for my thyroid ( goitrogenic), inactivated thyroid hormone.
Have a fun evening!
RK
Thanks for all the steak day tips everyone. I knocked out 2.5 of the egregious overload. Still .5 above the ldw window. Today's plan is hell if I know. Maybe just seafood, I have cod and shrimp. Cooking those in healthy fats along with salads and homemade dressing. I'll try to keep it clean. No cheese, no nuts, no fun.
Tracy, I'd say great job on the 2.5 lb drop! That's a great drop! Mind saying what you did actually eating on your correction day? Doing basically high protein day, fats with dressing, that is not hard day, to me anyway Those kind of days usually help me drop 1 lb. Good luck and good job!
Up early for me, not as bad as Tracy's o'dark thirty, but still about hour early for me. Got DH off for a golf trip, so a few days without someone eating pizza in front of me as I wind down this p2 and eat my chicken or fish portions. Weight this a.m. was .2 above yesterday's. Hardly worth mentioning, and if I slept the extra hour, may've been the same as yesterday. It's ok. I was afraid after dropping 1.8 yesterday, I would have a big uptick this morning, so I'm happy. Just a few more days left till P3. I'm still ok on P2, but look forward to breakfast on P3. Hope everyone has a good, successful weigh-in this a.m. I am going to plant a few lavender plants outside this morning before it get miserably hot, but will check in later.
LOL. I wasn't brave enough to try that... but I like the sound of Linderlou's response!
Dubbles, here's my menu from yesterday. Coffee with half and half, water, inflammation smoothie, around 4:30pm ate approx. 12 oz of hamburger, cooked in pan and rolled up in romaine leaves with some mayo. Finished with a honey crisp apple about the size of my head. I'm still full this am. Like Coco has experienced, beef is taking awhile to digest so I'll keep the menu simple today.
I plan to have another smoothie today and the Epsom bath tonight. I wasn't able to squeeze it in last night.
Wow. Now I have to figure out a steak day thang.
What the? I am up a full 2 pounds this a.m. after a 1.8 gain yesterday. I am a full 3.4 over LDW, and need to drop at least 1.4. Here's the kicker: I ate NOTHING NEW. I got almost all of my calories in... around 1760. I did think I need to get more in earlier in the day, but I didn't even have anything heavy for supper or later.
Well, I can't do an actual steak day today. I have to be in Denver for a Dr.'s appt at noon. I can't go all day without eating and drive. So, I will try a yogurt day. I can stop on my way out of town to pick up a couple of plain family-sized Greek Gods Greek yogurts and take a small cooler in my car. That way I can eat something right before I go in, so I won't start to shake from not eating. I'm hypoglycemic and you don't want to see what happens when I don't eat! Not pretty!
My jeans still fit just fine. Something must have set off something. I've been careful adding foods-- only the same dairy I had in P2 and the PI. I had some pecans, but I've never had a reaction to those before, and just a handful. I had the same bacon I always have--not the $%#%^ stuff from IHOP. I made chicken salad with a tsp of mayo, but I have done that with tuna, last week. I'm stumped.
I'm being tested for Covid Long Haulers, because I had a cough for months and have been short of breath ever since. Also get dizzy, had a lot of brain fog, etc. I never had Covid to my knowledge, just bronchitis. Tested negative, lungs stayed clear. But hey, maybe they can cure me. I've aged 10 years this last year. Nobody likes getting old, but try getting old overnight! Also not pretty. LOL.
Hang in all. I will probably check in to gripe about eating yogurt later. Take what I say with a grain of salt--- I'll be in a bad mood.
