Yay on the 60's! Such a good feeling!

I thought I was losing so well week 5 and 6 after interruption but on average it is still 0.5/day. 21.8 total most likely. Still have tomorrow. I am just glad it is normal!

Have a great time!!! It is so wonderful to see people again! Enjoy your tea!

I am 167.2 this morning and hope to get rid of the 0.2 tomorrow. Then total loss will be 21.8 for the whole round. 7 the last two weeks. All in all very good round and I loved the interruption.

I need to bake some sugar free brownies for my mom and we are all heading down to her place today to celebrate Mother's Day. Hope you all have a great day!

Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Wow, look at all the break through weights!

Iím down .4 but thrilled. Yesterday I was at a set point weight so breaking through to the next pound, only if by .4, in one day is a relief.

I was fearful that I would be up, up, way up today. I was really perfect on my protocol ó hey, anyone else notice that My fitness Pal has gone belly up? First it asked me to sign in after Iíve been on that site for ever, and it wouldnít let me sign in because it said my password was wrong, although Iím pretty sure it wasnít, and I asked for a new password reset email like six times over the last three days and still havenít gotten one. Then it was saying it couldnít reach the server to even process my request.

So I have downloaded a new tracker app, Carb Manager, and itís taking a little to get used toó

But, I was up half the night with my little dog Penny who was having a very very hard night. She was coughing and gagging gacking all night.

I gave her all the meds she takes in the morning at about midnight, and finally gave her half of a low-dose chewable aspirin about 3 AM. For some reason that completely calmed her down and she was able to breathe. She has been doing well on prednisone and tramadol, but she honestly does better on aspirin.

Not the best choice for her but in the middle of the night, with a panicked dog in my arms, ya kind of throw caution to the winds. She slept about three hours, Had another fit at six and slept till eight. This morning I just gave her her medicines and hope they will make her comfortable. She is wagging her tail and looking at me like ďwhatís your problem?Ē

    So, happy with .4!!! Lol

Happy Motherís Day weekend. Me, not a mother, no longer have a mother, so looking forward to Memorial Day when it is finally safe to plant flowers in Colorado!

    P

PS: Phoebe! Unsalted chicken broth! Not ďlow sodiumĒ
But unsalted. Itís usually on the lower shelf. 40 mg of sodium, then you can salt to taste at the table. Beef, too.

Phoebe, I know those commercials are tempting. I get weak in the knees whenever an ad shows melting cheese. Melting cheese on a burger, pizza, banana - I want it! I stopped eating Jimmy John's (a delivery staple at my old job) when I learned the CEO had a hobby of trophy hunting elephants, rhinos, zebras. Terrible stuff.

I felt compelled to chime in on the adult beverages as I did many rounds trying to be successful on hcg while drinking. As if that wasnít an indicator lol. I found that either a vodka with soda and lemon or lime or grapefruit didnít do any damage or just regular wine (not sweet wine). Sometimes I would have a loss probably due to dehydration lol.

I used to like this diet because I would drink less.
Now that I just passed the 18 month mark of sobriety and this diet is so much easier for me Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!.

Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Thank you, sdwis! I tried it again this morning and while it still made me set a new password, at least this time it sent me the email. So now Iím in, but I kind a like Carb manager better! Who knew?

A long time ago, Lovely Janeen Taught me how to log in these apps so that I could seeHow much protein how many carbs etc. easily. I log all my proteins in one meal like breakfast, and all my vegetables etc. for carbs for another meal like lunch.

Then since they show how much you had calorie or carb grams wise for each meal you can see at a glance. Especially for 2.0 when you need so many calories of protein and to stay under so many grams of carbs. Fat kind of takes care of itself, as I eat lean and non-fat etc.

Iím down another .8, day 6, weigh-in 5. Total of ó uh, 6 plus 8 and carry the ought...ok, wait!ok!(runs down the hall to get calculator...) 6 pounds! I actually thought it was 5.8 when I added it in my head.

I was sort of expecting 5.8 MORE this morning, because last night I had some shrimp for supper that have been in the freezer forever. Three shrimp in, I realized Shrimp doesnít like to be in the freezer forever. I stopped eating it and had yogurt with my cucumbers. Not what I had planned! The rest of the story is óletís say 3 bad shrimp can get ya ready for a colonoscopy!

    Just lucky to be alive.

Penny the dog NOT well. Hoping to get in to the vet tomorrow. Meanwhile, she is getting her meds upped. Iím not a vet, but Iím her Mama, and I am not going to let her suffer!

    Onward!

PS: Liz, are you here? Yoohooo! Come in in!

Polly my heart hurts for your baby girl, Penny. They are like our kids. On my car I have a plate that says Dog MOM. I have always been a dog owner and generally have 3 at a time, now only 2. All I can say, is hang inthere, You'll know when to do what, about her suffering. But it is damn hard. Know we are all thinking of her and you.

Happy Mother's Day Everyone, whether mother to 2 legged kin, or to 4 legged babies--we are most all nuturers of some sort. Hope you all have a great day. It is cool, breerzy and gloomy here in Ky where I am. A day for lounging and binge watching tv, or movies! My kiddos live miles and miles away, so basically just another day here.

I get so mixed up on where I should post, without overposting, but since I will be back on P2 next Sunday--I think I'll settle here for a while, and maybe on Leez's loaders? Like I said, will be back on P2 for 2 weeks starting Sunday, but on pellets instead of mixing new hcg. Am very curious how that will go--seems I remember reading someone thinking they lost inches differently on homeopathic than on rx injections. I cannot for the life of me remember who wrote that--am going to watch for myself tho.

Hope everyone is doing well, celebrating however they feel like--as for me: last nite went to a friends--there were six of us--had 2 glasses of wine, a wonderful meal of salad, baked potato with butter, roasted asparagus, smoked salmon, one roll, and a blueberry dessert I make with cream cheese, cool whip, blueberries and angel food cake (definitely has sugar in it). I had the entire baked potato and really healthy piece of salmon, and normal svg of the dessert--on the way home told DH I will prob gain 2 lbs tomorrow morning. To my surprise and delight, no gain at all! 168.8 , so still only .4 above last dose weight! But then I remembered, hcg not in my system and if you eat normally, which I did, though a pretty big piece of salmon (friend portioned out more than I would normally) -- seems you can occassionally indulge without huge gains. Honestly, I cannot remember such stablization when I did hcg in 2010. But this time, Phase 3 is turning out to be the most important to me. Learning to eat reasonable portions, eliminating fast foods and diet colas, these are changes I hope to make for good. I love this. Today, we are home, and tho Mother's Day, I will fix us some orange roughy in egg wash, put into air fryer. We'll have a salad, and for dessert I am going to do fried apples. Made with a touch of butter, cinnamon, water on top of stove. I do plan on experimenting with adding a little Splenda sweetener to the apples. I usually do apples in oven on P2, since I am eating P3 I can add a little butter to the apples. That will be dessert. Anxious to see if there is a delayed effect from the meal last night and then today. Fingers crossed, not. Getting myself mentally prepared for limited food after this week, when back on P2. That 2 weeks will complete a 40 day round. After that, I plan on not doing another round all summer, but eating P3 and once in a while adding a few starches /carbs for a special occassion or treat. It all sounds like a great plan, but we know life happens when we make plans and things don't always go as we'd like. But that's the plan for now.
