Today is LDD and well, the scale this morning gave me such a low number that I don't trust it. 166. Supposedly dropped 1.2 pounds. I was very sore most of the week but still. I think I will keep 167 as LDD. Anyone else drop a lot on the last day and not sure what to do?
Tonight I am having some steak for Mother's Day so I guess it is a little off protocol. Both proteins will be steak in one meal. I don't plan on eating anything else off POP. Even wine is not tempting. I just want my meat! LOL
Hope everyone had a great day!

Pearly, so sorry your lovely baby is feeling poorly. Hope today is brighter and better for you and Penny.
Msstrong, I am a carnivore, too. A good steak tastes even better when someone else makes it for you! I've had a big drop down on LDW days before. I've always managed to keep it, it's the cushion drop on the following day that surprise lands and then disappears for me.
I made my seafood soup again with haddock, shrimp and that tin of lump crab. I used my frozen fish broth instead of chicken this time and it is omggood.
Day three at 169.8. Love being in the sixties, technically - but my loss pattern can be frustrating. Drop, sit for 3-4 days, Up then drop again. Rinse and repeat. Sounds like an evil, lazy Jane Fonda exercise routine. Oh, I bought that VHS tape but skipped on the leg warmers. We had some seriously bad fashion in the 80's. I blame it on the scissors. I cut up everything.
Sending props to the losers, the samers, and the starters for a great start to this week. Tell the Whoosh Fairy to stop on by my place...
Morning ladies
Hope everyone had a fabulous mothers day and that the scales aren't too punishing after the nosh fest. Son came home for the weekend so me him and my daughter & grandbaby went to every park in the area and walked what seemed miles & miles. Ate good-had chinese Saturday night and Sunday brunch at my sisters and stayed to the veggie protein theme. No alcohol as I have pretty much stopped that-mainly because last year I went overboard with the wine & martinis which is partly how I got to where I am in the first place. So this year I'm gonna stay dry. Weight is a little up about a pound but chalking that up to all the walking I've done.
My little dog got diagnosed with diabetes last June - went to vet and in the parking lot they handed me the insulin and needles with a written instructions on how to give a shot. I'm not a shot person so tried that for 6 months (hubby did them) but he just wasn't getting better so finally had to put him to sleep in the fall. Still miss him every day cause he was my little baby. My other dog is more independent but its true what they say about not replacing one dog with another - you just can't cause of their personalities. Sorry for the ramble on -
Hope todays everything you want it to be!
Tracy, thank you. I’m waiting for a return call from the vet.
2many, so sorry about your fur baby. I know that there are many places in the heart for kids& animals, so there is always room for the next one. Doesn’t make losing one easier, tho.
Down .4. TESSis making me work for it. Only 1.2 from goal! Sheesh.
I’m starting to really see it, finally!
Onward all!

So sorry about your dog, Jeanette. We have only had cats but I feel the same way when one passes. We get so attached to them. Our unofficial cat names, the names they earned, are crackhead because that is just how he stares out into the world, ****head because well, he is smart and actually creative in getting what he wants, and neurosis because she is so neurotic. Their real names are Finn, Oliver, and Robin.
Tracy, I think the pattern can be what your body needs. I mean, you are losing fat, then you are really efficient in filling those cells with water first and then whoosh. My goodness, Jane Fonda outfits! Those 80s jeans are back in and I just can't. I will stick to my skinny jeans and side part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnHrg17cw5Y
Well, I guess it was not a scale lie. This morning I weighed 3 times: 165.8, 166.4, and 166.2 so I will go with 166.4 which is up 4 oz from yesterday but that is OK since I had more than my daily allowance of it for dinner. So that is pretty awesome. I lost more this round with a PI and a 3.6# gain than on my previous round. Go figure. 22.6 vs 20.
So now I have 16 left to lose! P3 Wednesday and can't wait! Unfortunately, it will a busy day so quick yogurt and some boiled eggs with bacon slices will have to suffice till late afternoon.
Hope everyone has a great day!

What? I finally got back in my skinny jeans and now they’re out of style?
I have no words.

2many ~ Sorry to hear about your dog! I just lost my not even 2 year old Presley (Pictured) to cancer on St. Patricks Day this year. I am still so devistated! Finally decided to get a new puppy which will be coming home the day after we get home from my son's wedding. My other dog misses her so much, they were suppossed to grow old together, he wil be 3 in Aug. Definatly can't replace one for another but I am really hoping this puppy heals the hole in our hearts that is there. Hugs!
PearlyMae ~ I sincerely hope that your Penny is feeling better! I know how hard it is to nurse an ill pup! You are in my thoughts!
P2D8 for me and I am trying hard not to get frustrated and just trust the process... I usually lose really good on this diet! Saturday +.4. Sunday +.3 and today I am down a meesly -.1. I just don't get it? I really am not hungry other then at the usual times I should eat. The only things I ate on Saturday were and apple, chicken and salad for lunch with lemon and a dash of red wine vinegar, I did have a turkey burger patty with yellow mustard but it only weighed 2.5oz so I also added 4 large shrimp... and cucumber and a hand full of strawberries. Drank lots of water. Is red wine vinegar a no no?
I did wake up yesterday with a bad neck ache that went all the way from my neck to my shoulder to behind my shoulder blade. My son used one of those gun massagers on it last night and I woke up at 5 am with a terrible achy shoulder today. But I just don't get it. I am crossing my fingers that my fat cells are just filling up with water and the flood of weigh loss will soon happen. Or maybe just inflamation from my neck ache... I also think I will stay away from seafood after I finsih the last 3.5 oz of lump crab meat (can't let that go to waste)! Here's to hoping everyone had a better weekend of losing then I did.
P2D8 down 8.1#'s total <--- I can't complain about that!!![]()
