AFM: Loaded Friday and Saturday. I don't feel like I went crazy, but gained 4.2 lbs anyway. That's typical load weight for me, I have even gained up to over 5 lbs before. Today is vlc day 1 of 14 days, to finish a 40 day round. Think I need to fess up here--I was going to do the pellets, and did the first day of loading on pellets. I found it so distracting trying to figure out when to take, and to let them dissolve seemed to take forever, So Saturday a.m., I did the first dose at like 6:30 in the a.m., and decided to just go back to injections. I mixed hcg and injected, so much easier, for me anyway. One and done for the day. Probably wasteful of hcg, but I had it here, and still have another vial--so did it anyway. Today, I have not been drinking like I am supposed to! I have got to drink up this afternoon! Plan on having grilled shrimp and onions for DH and myself for dinner. Getting my head in the game is going to be the challenge. I keep thinking about salads and P3 foods! Not good. Once you see the loading weight drop, it gets easier mentally, at least for me. So here it goes. Hoping for some drop tomorrow, for me and anyone else that is on p2, and for our P3ers, stablization!
    Hi Dubbles!

So glad and happy for you on starting your next round!! I will be starting my 4th round soon. I miscounted my 12 weeks in between my 3rd & 4th round, I was thinking it fell on May 16th of when I am to start my 4th round. However, it is June 5th which I can hardly wait. I am going to do the Lipo-Mini-Mix injections along with it to. I remember you stating that you felt like they helped you lose better. So I am looking forward to trying them.

I will be checking in every so often to keep up with everyone. See you all in about two and a half weeks or so. Good luck to your next round, Dubbles!
My medications that I am taking for hypothyroidism is Cytomel, which I have stopped during this round per Dr. Simeonís protocol. I have also quit taking any vitamins and supplements.

Jan 2021, Round 3, starting weight 208 lbs., last dosage weight 188 lbs.
Jun 2021, Round 4, starting weight 198 lbs., last dosage weight 180 lbs.
Sept 2021 Round 5, starting weight 180 lbs.,

The weekends always fly by too quickly!! Looks like pounds were lost and batches were mixed!! I love that weíre at all different stages and supportive. I was down .2 but I had a weird day yesterday. I need to get rid of the Melba again but my hair is falling out and I try to keep it in so I donít go too low.
Made some sun tea today and itís delicious. Chai ginger with mint and lime. Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!.
Made burgers for dinner and they were delicious.
153.4 this morning and I always weigh naked in the morning!!
Wanting to get down to 145 but I have to stop dinking around with the Melba. I did a half hour recovery ride and we did a 25 minute walk with the dogs. Need some magnesium to kick in and that will hopefully get things moving Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!
I am glad Penny is doing better. Bentley, my adopted almost 7 year old German Shepherd has horrible hips and he gets injections now and galliprant. He fell weird yesterday when they were chasing the ball and it scared me. He seems okay but they are our children and we love them so much Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Dubs, yeah P2 this round was sub par for being POP. About 13 pounds in 34 days. But I'm really close to my self appointed goal weight, between 160-165.

Pearly! Wear those pants inside out! You are a hoot.

Charlie, that tea sounds great, especially with lime. How do you sweeten it? Or not?

Day 1 P3 went well. Still super tired, from the vaccine I think. I'm 1 pound up from yesterday. Had eggs, bacon, lunch was steak and fried mushrooms and then a salad for supper which was mostly avocado! And my beloved spoon of peanut butter and glass of milk for a snack.
Today, I'll have fage and blueberries for breakfast and I'm making coleslaw today and pork chops tonight. If I plan, I know I'll be successful in p3. I made a big batch of chicken thighs, too. Carnivore city here.

I was reading the thread here on using gluconamann (sp?) As a thickener for dressings, etc and wondered if powdered collagen would work as well. I love salads but don't care for bottled dressing. I really want some squash but I always have a weird gain with zuchinni. My go to recipe in P3 is lasagna and I use zucchini as the noodles. Maybe next week after I've brought cheese back into my life.

    Good Monday morning ladies!

Pearly, for some reason I missed the part on Saturday's post that you lost 8.2 lb in 13 days, when going back to p2 after interruption. I think that is great, hopefully I will be as successful as that. That's the result I'm hoping for--would love to get to 10 since last dose weight, but I doubt that will happen. We'll see. You are a tiny thing. Hope it goes well at vet this morning, glad she felt better.

Deanna, I should probably say, not starting new round. Just completing round 2, after a 14-15 day interruption. Going to do p2 for 14 days to complete a full 40 day round. I hope to be on P3 by June 1st. About the time you jump back, I should be in P3, but I will still be on threads, P3 is most important part. See you soon!

Charlie, this morning I ate an extra Grissini stick with my coffee, so I hear you on the Melba situation. I need to get that in check right now. But they taste so good with coffee. I do think I lose more hair when on hcg. These final 2 weeks I have decided to stop the collagen until I am done, my collagen seems more caloric than a lot of them--maybe the scoop measurement is larger--but I don't want to use up 35-70 calories on collagen these two weeks. You are doing great, but then you didn't look like you needed to lose much, you are so fit, all that exercise! Keep it up!

Tracy, Unfortunately losses seem to slow down the closer to goal! It's like heh, you look good enough, no need to get to chicka chicka boom boom level! TESS indeed! But 13 in 34 days is not bad at all. I've never, even 11 years ago, lost more than .75 average daily , more like .50 average daily lost. And I'll take that and run with it. Your food sounds great, slaw and pnut butter on P3 is my absolute favs. Btw, my nephew got his 2nd Moderna shot on Saturday, and he felt absolutely horrible for almost 24 hours, ran 102 fever--thankfully by next night he was better. And he is pretty young and superfit. Hope your energy rebounds today! Enjoy your P3.

AFM: Day 1 of my short round (14 days) of very low calorie is under my belt. Mentally challenging, but not any hunger. Thankfully. This morning 1st weigh in after the 2 loading days resulted in being down 2.0. So still have to lose another 2.8 to get to last dose weight. Load gain was 4.2. I don't really want to count these loading lbs on my stats. We'll see. I saw Pearly lost about 8 on her 13 day return to p2. I was hoping for 10 from last dose weight, but that may be overly optimistic, I'd be happy with 8! After this completion of round, I do not want to do another round for a looooong time!. I think I am hcg'd out. Not for forever, but for now anyway. Have a lot to do today, so will jump off here, but hope everyone has a happy weigh in, and has a good Monday. Will check later to see how everyone did!

    P3 Day 6

    Good morning everyone!

Good going, Phoebe! Nice loss! Sounds like your visitors are supportive. That must help!

Awesome, Polly! Enjoy P3! Too funny on the jeans inside out. LOL!

LOL, Dubbles! I never thought of that. I don’t wear jewelry beside a ring and a small necklace so it’s not on my mind but I can see how it could add up if I wore more. Totally get it on the pellets! I end up taking drops twice a day instead of three and it is a bit easier than 3 times/day. Fwiw, my loss after the PI was 7.6 pounds in 14 days. Quite average but better than if I had done a long round it seems. I lost 2.4 pounds more this round total than the previous one, and that is including a gain during the PI. And! I am stabilizing really well it seems. I am so never doing it any other way! That said, I did not reload. No problems with not doing so.

Deanna, enjoy your P3 and P4! It will be June 5th before you know it!

Charlie, instead of the melba, raising your protein to 4oz may help more for your hair. I also add collagen on most days since I always have calories left. Protein and magnesium for hair! Your pro dog. It is a common issue for German shepherds due to overbreeding and I always feel so bad for them. I love those dogs!

Tracy, frustrating it is not more, I am sure, but down is down and close to goal is an amazing feeling! What Dubbles says too: the closest goal the harder. I got tired from the vaccine too. Planning is everything! I realize I am lazy LOL I need food to grab on most days, like yogurt, pulled pork, cooked meat etc. so I can make a quick salad and be done. I love a spoonful of almond butter! So good. Haven’t had any yet but soon. For sale dressing I usually just make my own with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and stone ground mustard.

AFM: The keto bread caused no issues, neither did the lettuce-wrapped burger I ordered for dinner. I bought some Outer Aisle bread again too, so going to try that as well as the granola again. The keto bread was so so and I gave it away to a neighbor. It’s not bad at all but It is also not something I feel like eating again. I much prefer Trader Joe’s gluten-free crispbread for my butter.

Weighing in at 165.8. So I think the 167 was just a fluke. Tomorrow is day 7 of P3 week 1 and the stats so far are:

    166.4 LDW
    166.2 NDD
    165.8 NDD
    P3
    165.4
    166
    167
    165.6
    165.6
    165.8

I don’t think I have ever been this stable!

mrsstrong--WOW, your stats on 1st week of p3 are awesome! On P3 I had a burger on the Outer Aisle bun, and it was great. Like a real hamburger! And I think the 7-8 lb loss after a Planned Interruption is prob the norm for us ladies. And that will be ok with me, as long as it isn't including load gain! I wasn't as disciplined as you, and did load. And guess what I thought back and I didn't have any candy or chocolate, no donuts, even. But over 2 days did have a package of cinnamon cake slices (think there were 8 in the package)--that was my big spluge, and had tuna on crackers, so starches there. So the load really wasn't that exciting, should've done what you did! I'm with you 100 per cent, any future rounds will either include a planned interruption, or be no longer than 30 days of vlc. So much easier mentally to deal with. I've done a 45-47 day round on hhcg in the past, how did i do that?! Enjoy p3, I hope to be at 65, thereabout soon, before the end of this round. If I could lose 8 from last dose weight, it'd be 60. You seem to get wiggle room on the NDDAYS, I seem to lose nothing then! WTH? Happy Monday!

Tracy - I didnít sweeten it because Iím used to not using sweetener and the mint and lime give it wonderful flavor. I also love Tazo Passion Tea plain as well. I get a Trenti at Starbucks and then pay .50 for the refill a few hours later.

Dubbles - excited to see how the short round works. Sometimes I think it is better and your body fires back up!

Strong - yup, GSD are overbred. We rescued him at 5 and nursed him back to health. Heís a beautiful boy and a total goofball and is also protective of us. The Lab is a ball of love and he is definitely the alpha.

I have the perfect aminos and they said you donít need collagen with them but maybe Iíll add some. Thanks for the suggestions.

I was up .8 today. I think spraying my baked apple with coconut oil wasnít a good idea. I didnít eat off protocol but something got in there. I also need the magnesium to kick in if you know what I mean Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May! this has definitely been a slow round for me and my birthday is the 27th and Brett is taking me to dinner and I want to enjoy my meal. It will be a steakhouse so it should be okay. The idea is taking a PI and going back to a week or two sounds tempting and rogue Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!.

Good morning! Well, I caved at MY OWN HOUSE.... I caved and had 2, yes 2!! vodka sodas with my sister n laws yesterday!! I was weak, I tried to drink a ton of water after they left close to midnight and I didn't even have to get up to go to the bathroom, which made me super scared to get on the darn scale this morning but I had a .9 loss so not sure if it will hit me tomorrow or the next day or hopefully not at all... I could kick myself!! Today my daughter and I get to go meet our furbaby. She is just over 4 weeks old and since we got last pick of the females in the litter, we will finally be able to know which one is ours this afternoon!! We are so excited, going to bring a little blanket and rub it on her to bring her scent home to her big brother so he gets familiar with her!

Dubbs ~ sounds like your first vlcd went well... can't wait to see how your round after your PI goes! I may do the same after my son's wedding... how long can the interruption be again??
Tracy ~ Enjoy that peanut butter!! I always thought we couldn't have peanut butter in P3? Not sure why? For some reason I always went out and got almond butter because I thought PB was a no no? I LOVE peanut butter... and popcorn in P3 never affected me... that was a great snack!
Starbucks ~ the tea sounds great!! I too always seem to lose hair on HCG, also I have always gotten really heavy periods while on hcg, this time I have an IUD and haven't had a TOM for 5 years but I keep getting that "heavy" feeling down there so I think it may be thinking of showing it's ugly head again!! I have been taking 5000 mg of biotin and a multi vitamin daily that I never took on previous rounds... hoping it will help with my hair!! OHHH... and your pups are both beautiful!!
Strong ~ I just ordered some outer aisle bread too... thought I'd start to prepare for P3, all they had were the italian and jalepeno, hopefullly I will like them. They do get pretty good reviews on facebook.

VLCD15 (half way there) 11.9#'s forever gone!! Hopefully!!
Phoebe~ a.k.a. Karen (Phoebe was a nickname I grew up with that my late dad used to always call me)

Taking it one day at a time!
Today is a good day to have a good day!

    Starting R1P2
    Starting weight 183.5
    R1 LDW 165.7 (25 days of vlcd)

Oh, I see how it is now! Baby pictures! Beautiful Lab and GSD. My sister's family has three GSD--two 'long-haired' and a 5 mo old puppy who will have 'regular' fur. Such good dogs.
