    HI Lovelies,

I have not posted because I have had severe back pain, sciatica, and it got so much worse.. .I have never had such bad pain. My doctor only offered me heavy pain killers, which I refuse to take. I saw a chiropractor last week and he adjusted me that I had injured my nerve and told me it would get worse before it got better. Last week was really rough. Today I am feeling a bit better. I am taking Naprosyn and tylenol, and lidocaine patches 12 hours a day. I will really appreciate being healthy when I get there!

On top of this, my mom fell on Mother's day evening and fractured her rib, so I have been trying to help her. It has been very hard.

I have lost 2 pounds in 10 days, which is better than going up, but not my usual. I am probably retaining a lot of water from my injury.

I hope you are all doing great and will read back.

    Take care,
    Fondly,
    RK

Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Oh, RK. So hard! On top of all you do, you did not need this or your Mom falling. Falling Moms I am familiar with! My Mom fell about five times over the last year and a half, including a face-plant that left her with black eyes etc. She said she kinda liked it, because all the swelling made her wrinkles disappear. Well, except she was purple. Anyway, my sympathy on both. You would think things like this could take turns! But No!

Quick drive thru. .8 over LDW. And I didn't eat much yesterday and I cannot do that! I was out of sorts all day, just inertia. I thought it was fatigue from the vacccine , maybe. I feel much better today.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Tracy, you're still in great shape--not near where you need any correction day, just ups and downs of P3. Glad you are feeling better after shot.

    Hi Justbe!

Quick update on me--down 1.2 this morning (did weigh in about an hour early). The circling back to P2 doesn't give me the huge losses that week one on hcg give. This is vlc #3, and have lost from loading weight 3.2 lbs. Haven't even /lost the total gain from loading yet, gained 4.2 loading. So another pound yet to lose. I will prob be lucky to lose 7/8 lbs and that would be including load weight. I'd be happy with the 7/8 lbs if AFTER load weight. Fortunately today not hungry, though I did feel a little hungry yesterday. But I am struggling mentally, just like after my last planned interruption. Not so badly that I feel like just ending a round. I can do anything for 10-14 days. Just feel I need to get my head in the game! Those big first week losses are really helpful when going on P2, and I'm not getting those so much. Think I need to get really busy to distract myself...... will check in later.

Oh, Dear Dubbles! Take a breath! One thing we all learn and all forget, is that we can't PREDICT THE FUTURE on hcg. Today does not extrapolate into tomorrow. You lost 1.2 today. Where else can you lose 1.2 overnight? I realize maybe you have lost 2 or 3 or 5 pounds overnight before. That was then, this is now. But it all adds up. It is not the daily weight that counts, it is the cumulative average that gets you to goal. You can have some crazy good losses some days, nuthin' other days, point sumpin' in between and end up losing .5 average a day. Looky there... ya made it. MY prediction is you are winding up for great losses. Drink water. Enjoy your day. You have come a long way on this journey and this is just a little slope.

As for me, I hate my scale. I am only 1 pound over LDW, but heck. When I step on it says 129.8. Yay. When I move my hand, it blips to 131.2. WHOT? Then I wiggle a toe, and it goes to 129.8. Then I breathe and its 131.2 again. Okay. Wait. No. Okay. No wait. Ugh.

    Onward!

PS: Penny sleepy again today, but then, who isn't? LOL.

    P3 Day 7

Dubbles, indeed great stats for me! Not losing on NDD is frustrating! I have no idea what would cause that but it gives no wiggle room. I think I would then probably take my average of P3 weigh-ins and adjust my LIW/LDW higher if it shows it is so that I donít have to fret every day. I had to adjust one pound higher last round and it was very freeing. Do what you can control and let the rest be. Sorry the drop is not as much as hoped for but it may still even out. Remember that other things are happening as well so donít focus on the pounds too much. I know it is hard. But if you were not doing this, none of it would come off. So you are always going to be better off.

Charlie, he is gorgeous! What phenomenal dogs they are. I mean your Lila is pretty too but I am in love with Bentley! Coconut oil makes me gain. Allergic I guess.

Phoebe, just get back on it. Itís hard with company. Period. No matter where you are. I had a little wine in P2 and lost fine but it doesnít mean it is free for grabs! I considered myself lucky and didnít do it again. Hope meeting your dog was awesome! Such great losses you have!

Polly, your dogs are so cute! Step on the scale, donít move, take note of the weight, and LEAVE.

Ritkin, that is awful. Had it once in a debilitating form like this. On the floor for a few days. OMG. And then your mother! What timing (not that any of us have control over that). You are retaining lots of fluid and your body needs it to heal. It will come off when better. Be kind to yourself. Eat more protein for healing too. Are you doing an interruption?

Tracy, probably the vaccine. Glad you are feeling better! Onward! But donít stop eating! You will end up gaining.

Justbe, welcome!!! Lots of folks here!

AFM: Today I am down to 165, 1.4 pounds under LDW. I am not trying to lose weight and have no idea what I am doing right LOL Had a tiny bit of wine yesterday. This is what I ate:

Bowl of fun fat yogurt (probably 1 1/2 cups)
Pulled pork (probably 1- 1 1/2 cups) with a salad of greens, microgreens, avocado, and feta
2 chicken thighs with pesto, a salad of greens, microgreens, and avocado, and grilled asparagus

I have been very active so maybe that is helping. Today I am going to have something I havenít had yet. I will report tomorrow.

Tonightís Last VLC Meal will be tapia and Spinach. Hereís hoping I Never Have To Eat That EVER again!!!!!!!

    Sigh. 22 more hours.

Awww, thank you. He is our rescue and his first five years was tough. Heís such a goofball and itís my mission to spoil him til the end Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Yíall are having great losses. Iím in a weird state and was up .8 yesterday and down .8 today. I have not pooped in what feels like two weeks but itís actually just a few days but omg. Took 400 mg of magnesium last night so hoping that gets things moving!!

Since Iím not flying down on this round Iím almost thinking a brief PI before my birthday and then back on for another week or so to see if that kickstarts a little more weight. I need wiggle room!!

Pearly, there is something about the 120s that feels magical.

Dubbles, you inspired me to try that PI. I want to enjoy my birthday Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

    Good Morning Lovelies,

Thank you all so much for the virtual support with my mom and my back situation. It really means a huge amount to me. I am down 1.4 today, because I took the Motrin that does not help my pain but wow it gets rid of the swelling. I am also a fan of Tylenol.

Pearly: I agree, no wiggling on the scale. Yes these falls are so scary. Here's to the end of talapia and spinach. I like my talapia with cabbage cooked with curry powder or with mustard and onion flakes and onions...

    Mrs. Strong, jealous of P3!

    Love the dogs!
Tracy and everyone, have a great day, can't type more with the back but thinking of you!

    Fondly,
    RK

Starbucks, Try adding some Vitamin C about 1000 mg to the magnesium. That is a recommendation from Leez and really helps me move things along.

Back pain is the worst. Ice can help and 600mg of Motrin too. I also love biofreeze.

When my mom was alive and sick she was a fall risk and it scared me to death and it scared her Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May! youíre taking good care of your mama!

Hi Guys, super busy day today so just wanted to pop on for a minute. Down .4 today, hopefully I skated by the alcohol consumption but still trying to be strick POP just to make sure ift doesn't haunt me! My son and future daughter in law head out tomorrow morning to Nebraska... it is starting to hit me that he will most likely never live under my roof ever again! I've already teared up a couple times just thiniking about it. They are driving and taking their dog too!! Speaking of dogs... my daughter and I went and met our new puppy yesterday. I am going to try to attach a picture on here... we are so in love with her already! She will be 5 weeks old this Thursday.... still trying to decide on a name.

Question.... can a PI be any amount of days as long as it's not 3 weeks or over? I am sure I can look this up but thought I would ask here where some of you have done them. ~ Thanks!

I have no idea why the picture is sideway, the upload was right side up... anyhow, don't have time to figure out how to change it, i'll try to later.

    R1 LDW 165.7 (25 days of vlcd)

PI LDW 158.5 (after only 16 doses, ran out of hcg)
