Good Saturday morning everyone!. Will be brief, think I responded to most everyone yesterday, and I need to work in yard some today, so need to get out there and do that! Our pool opens today, but don't plan on going until next week, it is likely to be crowded today. Not much to report here, Still not sure when to stop. This morning weigh-in was same weight as yesterday--happy for that as I was afraid I would uptick and go up after yesterday's 2 lb drop. But it held! Yay! My original goal in January was to get to 160 if I remember correctly At 165.4 now, would love to get to 160 before stopping, but I am not feeling that will happen. Who knows? We'll see. Would definitely like to be on P3 on Memorial Day. I don' know how I could prompt better losses this week other than to do just one fruit. I plan on that often, but give in around 2-3:00 to have that apple snack. We'll see if I can manage it today! Hope everyone has a great day. I think it is going to be a warm one, summer is here! Good luck with weigh-ins!

Hi Lovelies! Iíve been reading your posts but not posting lately. Iím still plugging away in P4. I bounced around quite a bit this week (within 3 lbs) and had to do a steak day on Monday again. Weight good today. Iím not sure, but maybe itís normal to bounce around a little at the beginning of P4? Iíll have to check with Leez. Iíve been really good eating wise so itís very frustrating to have the bounces up.

Hi all! Dubbs, glad your big loss stuck! I was worried yesterday, my food scale broke so I had to guess how much steak to eat and I was sure I had more then what I should have but still had a .8 loss today. New scale should be here today.

Busy day for me today with chores and paperwork to go through. I'll check back in later.

    P3 Day 11

164.2 today. Still going down. Had some plantain chips yesterday with my tuna salad as I have seen it be mentioned so often! Delicious and did not seem to affect me.

Still waiting on the granola. I have not had almonds this round yet so I think I will have some today.

Dubbles, glad the loss stuck. You'll lose what you lose by transition time and that will be that. I suggest not tweaking anything and just trusting the process. Have the fruit! It is not good to go too low in calories.

JGD, I hope you figure it out. I am no good at P4 so not much help.

    Have a great Saturday everyone!

Morning well I did something dumb yesterday and am up .8 so Iím at 152.6 Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!. Maybe it was the NY Strip that Brett griped while I was on a zoom conference but I was really hungry. I had fruit and loads of coffee too. I am trying to decide if I want to inject today or just call it and go into my PI and finish strong in a week after my birthday.

JGD: Sounds like you are doing great on P4 to me! Whenever you have time, do you mind sharing a little of what you have added that isn't p3 friendly? I never did P4, If I think back, didn't do P3 really well years ago. Have learned now how important the p3 and P4 are to maintain. I think I went directly from semi P3 to FREE FOR ALL FOOD INTAKE. Not good. But it took a long time to regain weight, so I guess I did something, but don't remember what. Personally seems to be it would be perfectly normal to bounce around a little. Maybe Leez will weigh in. Thank you for checking in, always love to hear from P3 and p4 people, at least I feel that way.

Phoebe, Yay on the .8 loss with possibly extra steak portion! It's always a good morning to weigh in and the scales be kinder than you expected. Good job! Don't work too hard.

Strong, omg, loved tuna and plantain chips and tuna on P3. Probably one of my fave p3 lunches, or snacks, or dinners! In fact went to store yesterday and Purchased more tuna to fix once I get to p3 again. Love tuna, especially on those chips! And you are right about the losses, it will be what it will be. Will definitely have strawberries today, not sure yet about the apple, we'll see. I'm at 165.4 right now, will be tickled to get to 64.4 or 62.4 by end of week. Really not terrible weight for me, and I imagine you either. The older I get, the less I want to get skinny!

Charlie, no one can tell you what to do. You may be ready for your break. Don't feel in any way guilty for stopping now, no judgements from us. Sometimes we just know when we need to call it a day for a bit. Hope your steak was good.

I've been working outside today, came in to fix some grilled chicken for my lunch, and it was good. A little tired of it--prefer it on P3, as then I mix up a mayo/mustard dip and it is then delicious. Was thinking out there , I may not get the losses this week I wanted--and as mrsstrong said, will lose what I will lose. But just not feeling that hopeful for more 2 lb losses from this rodeo. That being said, I've set my last dose day to be Thursday, May 27th. Then with transition of 72 hours, could have a breakfast on Sunday May 30 and have a decent Memorial Day cookout with protein and at least a salad with dressing. AND have also decided, I'll land wherever I land at that point, but will plan on coming back to do a round in September to try and drop another 10 lbs. After a 3 - 3 1/2 month break on P3 and P4, hopefully stablizing well, it might be easier to do another 23 (short) dose day round to lose an additional 10 lbs. at that time. That's the plan anyway. Excited to do this next week and be done with P2 for a while. Only 7 more very low calorie days after today, counting transition days. It's all good!

Very true. This weight looks fine on me and always has. There is still some to let go off if possible. Fingers crossed. I still plan on doing a last round end of June to reach goal.

Charlie, do you! Whichever you decide is fine and good. When it is hard to make a decision, I am typically overthinking things.

Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

    Ok, itís all about me-me-me...!

I got 1679 calories in yesterday. I increased portion sizes and added a second serving of protein and or fat. I should be getting to 1800, at least.

I realized I was still using P2 portion sizes. 3 ounces of chicken, 2 1/2 ounces of tuna, etc.

Now I have to wonder, if all the P3ís I have done before I have been under calorie like that, and that is why I tend to creep back up. As soon as I add things like sweet potatoes, nuts, cheese other than a tablespoon here and there, of course my calories increase and if I havenít set my metabolism at around that number, I think thatís why I regain so quickly.

So while counting calories is no fun and I havenít done it in the past, I am going to continue to try to get to 1800 cal a day and see how I do. I am only up .4 from yesterday and Iíve certainly had a point 4 Gain before that was just normal.

The diet tracker Iím using is no help. At 1500 calories it posted A warning that I would gain 4 pounds a month with that many calories. Oh thank you.

I had 49 g of carbs, and that was NET not original. After trying to keep under 30 that freaked me out a little. But none of it was starch, Or actual sugar or processed anything. Most of it was from legit vegetables, carbs in dairy and a little fruit. So we shall see.

Today I took my nephew to IHOP. I know I took my nephew to IHOP last week but this is a different nephew. Even their omelettes are 1000+ cal. And since there are eggs, cheese and some vegetables in them, what the heck is 1000 cal? Scary thought. So instead I ordered much like I did last week: 2 eggs over medium, three paper thin tomato slices, and this time a side of avocado which was three little slices for $3.59.

I really wanted to try their new steakhouse thick bacon.

    I canít recommend it.

First of all they pour maple syrup on it. You could ask for them to hold that, but basically you get something that looks like what pork rinds look like before they are pork rinds. I donít mind bacon fat, but this Had very little flavor after scraping off the maple syrup.

I like my bacon more crispy so I brought home leftovers and tried to fry them up for lunch. All I got was charred fat that didnít taste like bacon. At 270 cal per slice, itís a great way to add calories but just not worth it taste wise. I threw 2 slices away. Disappointing!

I have a T-bone thawing for supper so I will survive!

Good luck to everyone, Iím hearing you, thinking of you, and admiring you!

    Onward!
    P

Hi!! So, the thing about this dress for the wedding is that my future daughter n law asked her mom and I to both wear certain colors... I am wearing an aloe/sage color and her mom a blue. I really really wished I could have just went to Macy's and bought a dress and tried it on and have it fit.... BUT... that was not the case. I had to order swatches to make sure the color was good and ended up buying a size that wouldn't zip up. If it wasn't for having to order a dress on-line and have it come in smaller then expected, I never would have met any of you beautiful people!! (Or lost over 14 pounds in 20 days of dieting)!! I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT THE DRESS ZIPPED UP THIS MORNING!! Not with a bra on, but it zipped and if I have to go bra-less...well then that's ok because it has some built in padding! I am beyond happy!! It is still pretty snug.. I think I could probably hulk out of it, but it zipped!! I plan on taking it next week to the tailor to get it shortened and see what they think about the fit everywhere else. Thank you all so much for your support!!

I am thinking I wil plan on going into P3 starting Memorial Day. Like Dubbs, I will probably have my last dose be on th 27th, that way I will have at least a week to be in P3 before traveling to Nebraska for the wedding. Then, I plan on coming back with a loading day on July 4th and hopefully get closer to my 148# goal!
