Phoebe, wooo hooo! A 3 pound loss is a fun day! Yeah, sometimes after that big of a loss, we pop back up a bit the next day, but you will hold most of it! And most of it is still awesome.

I finally made it up to 1800 calories yesterday. I ate ALL DAY LONG. Good heavens. I had no idea I didn't eat that much. I am up 1.8, but still below the 2 pound edge of the cliff. I will not judge yet, so I will continue to try to get that many calories in. But I'm still full from yesterday! I think all that food is still in my tum.
Love this time of year. Spring at last. Mowed the lawn, moved the big swing out of storage, moved a cast iron set to my front porch and it looks great. I can't wait to start planting flowers. Our spring starts so late, I am impatient to get started. We only get a few weeks, sometimes days, of spring before it gets HOT and turns into summer! Last year, I sat on the couch and read books I don't even remember as I was sick, and the year before I moved to this house mid-June and that was too late to plant because it was SO HOT by then. So, this is my year!

Yes, I do Hamburger on a steak day and it really works well.
Also, I have had a big loss and then popped up the next day. Water weight I think? The evil scale is such a tease.

AFM: My Back continues it's attack, but I am armed with Naprosyn (cut my dose so yay) and epsom salt baths. I had an accidental cheat this weekend, but I am close to my happy weight. I am trying to get 2 pounds under my goal this time, as I have found in previous rounds, I gain 2 pounds and then go on a steak day yo yo. So I would lilke a 2 pound cushion before I leave P2.
I also had it where I was down and bounced back up today! UGH. Also, I am quite cold. I think that is a side effect of the diet? Just checking as for me it also could be thyroid related....

Yoohoo on this morning's weigh in Phoebe! That is awesome I would agree, you are having a great round. good for you. The trip sounds like a lot of fun. If you just try and eat reasonably on p3, if you gain a few lbs you will be able to get it off pretty quickly when you go back to p2 for a few days! You got this! Wow, that water sure did the trick!
Tracy I have tried a all protein day, just to avoid a steak day. Lost only about a 1lb on that tho. Years ago I remember doing a full fat fage day too. And it would bring me down a lb or two. Maybe someone else will weigh in on the hamburger. Eating wise, I love chopped steak, which is basically hamburger. Good luck, let us know what you decide, how it goes. I just fixed my lunch of tilapia loin and cabbage I made in crock pot yesterday. Cabbage is one of my staple veggies in p2. Will be curious how tomorrow goes for me, now. Yours sounded delicious with the parm and mozarella on it.
