Just realized I put I was 3 lbs under LDW yesterday. That’s incorrect, I was 2 lbs under, not sure if I mistyped or if it was just wishful thinking, or Marie a little of both . I am up today from yesterday 1.8 lbs, which I expected to be up, so no worries. Still under LDW, so I’m happy. Super busy day today. Happy Friday everyone!

JGD, every day I am under or at LDW it is a successful day. I sometimes get dizzy trying to figure out oz gained or lost, before or after loading weight. It's crazy. Have a great Friday!

Good Morning Lovelies and Happy Friday!

Dubbles, I feel the same alot of days.

I am getting ready for a very busy day---Friday and wish I was on the weekend! I am in my second day of transitioning to P3. P3 always makes me nervous! I am almost 2 pounds under my goal, so I am calming myself down from the tree tops by saying, "RK, you have a cushion, don't stress"...Maybe that will help? I will review the P3 rules and food lists. It seems like it has been a loooooong time since P3!

Thinking of you all and wishing you a fun and successful weekend. Mom is not sure if she needs a root canal or not, she has a dull ache and not pain. This is driving her dentist son and his good friend (the root canal guy) a little batty. Welcome to my world boys giggle. Fingers crossed it resolves before the weekend!!!!!It will be a hard one without my Dad, he loved spring/summer outdoor holidays and holiday fun times. Fortunately we have many good memories and so it is time to make more good memories--

Have a fun and safe weekend!
    Fondly,
    RK

166, so not too bad. Hopefully not a second-day whip to come.

Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Such good news from everyone! Congratulations!

As so many are starting P3 , here is my observation:

In P2, I spent from 7-9 pm trying to think of one more thing I could eat without breaking protocol. I wasnít starving just restless, bored, munchie, deprived, etc.

In P3 ó exact opposite! Same time of day, but Iím 200 - 400
Calories short of my possibly minimum calories needed and around 7:00 pm Iím desperately trying to think of something appropriate to eat! But Iím so full!

I only made it to 1500 yesterday and Iím up another point 4. This is a lot harder than it looks! Starting week two of p3 yesterday, so will add a few more things and see if that helps!

    Happy memorial day Weeknd everybody!

I didnít weigh this morning. I had a good workout this morning and have been fasting today to clear my body of all the sugar.

Dubbs- I usually drink vodka/soda with lemon and a stevia based sweetener or tequila with limes, water and stevia, or like Tracy mentioned, Tequila with grapefruit, I usually use a grapefruit flavored no sugar soda and sweetener. Another favorite is a no sugar mojito. There are also a few flavored vodkas that have no sundar that you can get creative with. I used to be a bartender as well so I can get pretty creative with the adult beverages.

I donít know what got into me but I will tell you it involved complimentary creme brŻlťe and then key lime pie that a friend planned to bring over and weíll, I have some work to do starting tomorrow. My dad is taking me to dinner tonight. Heís not a big desert guy so thatís not a concern and I looked at the menu and itís clean and really doable. Iíll do fish. But man, give me freedom and an undisciplined mind set and Iím a beast.

I stopped by crumble today and got some cookies after Pilates and ate a giant Andes Mint cookie in the car. I never do that but I did. It was like a pound of cookie. I am admitting it here because itís something I would hide and if I voice it then itís out there and itís much like my old drinking but Iím sober now. This is mental for me and I need to tackle the underlying issue.

If I can tackle sobriety I can tackle this and might look at an OA group.

I will inject tomorrow and get back on for two weeks and then go into P3 with a plan. I canít do this again.

Pearly Mae, I wish I had that problem. I figure I just must be a big eater. I don't feel like I'm stuffing myself, but no problem getting my calories up. I do like a lot of foods, like tuna fish, slaw, with mayo, so that helps. I don't like eggs and I think a lot of people add that back in during p3, and feel like they have a treat. Eggs aren't high calorie. Maybe that is part of the problem. Will be starting P3 like you gals on Sunday, I'll figure it out then, I guess. Looking forward to sausage, and lettuce wrapped burger that is not ultra lean. Or maybe a cauliflower bun? One good thing, these p2 rounds I have learned I absolutely love grilled fish! But better with mayo/mustard dip. I get that Duke's mayo and it is sugar free. Just finished my dinner, tilapia for the 2nd meal of the day.

    Dubs,
You are so kind. Iíve added a little cheese and some good almond butter, the kind they grind right in the store fresh, as of today. So Iím thinking that will make a big difference. LOL.

Ps: later: nope. I barely got to 1200.

    Good grief!

I've been .2 over ldw window for 3(?) days now. I decided not to do a correction for this, I'm just going to increase my window by that stubborn .2.

Happy to announce that I purchased plantain chips and have enjoyed them to a fault ( .2 <--- could that be you?) I accidentally bought 2 orders and have enough to last me until end times. You will find me in my bunker with those 7 boxes of grissini, 6 bags of chips and 2 murder cats.

Charlie, if I missed your birthday, hope it was happy! My oldest sister would order dessert first when we'd go out to eat. She could eat anything and still stay trim. Luckily she inherited our dads genes there. Me not so much, I got his psoriasis and a bent for bourbon.

Gloomy weather here for the holiday weekend. Seeing family on Monday and as of 10am this morning, I am fully vaccinated. Can't wait to hug my nieces and nephews, their kids, my brothers, their wives, my favorite checkout lady at Giant, the UPS guy, all the veterans, the police who come to arrest my murder cats. The list goes on...

Charlie, I think you're injecting today? Hope it all goes well. Are you starting back on P2 today, or injecting 2 days, then back to p2 next week? I understand the cookie deal, Sweets are my biggest challenge, those and breads. You're right, if you got soberity under your belt, you can do this. But like I used to tell my husband, you don't need alcohol to live, but you do need food. It is such a mental game, and not always an easy one. Good luck on this return to p2, you can do whatever you make up your mind to do. Last night DH ordered pizza and ate the entire pizza (not a huge one) and ordered cheesy breadsticks. He didn't touch the order of breadsticks, I opened the box before putting in fridge, and omg, I wanted to eat the entire order. It was very difficult to resist, seriously difficult, but that kind of eating is what got me to where I needed to lose 45 lbs this year. It's not easy, I truly hope it gets easier. I hope dinner with your Dad went well last night!

Tracy, glad to hear you are fully vacinnated now! Enjoy lots of hugs and socialization with friends and family now. Even with your eye candy military fellows as this is the perfect weekend to hug or thank a vet! I have, should say had, several vets in my immediate family, my Dad (Navy) , my brother (army) and my uncle (he was actually in Navy at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked), but unfortunately they are all gone now--my brother way too soon. Thank you to all current and past military, we owe all of you a lot! And Tracy, as far as you LDW, I think you are smart, just making that extra few oz part of you LDW window. If it was a huge overage, that might be different, but it is your journey. I'm just not keen on correction days for .2 oz. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

I think I read about Pearly Mae on another thread, so will look there and respond to her there!

Everyone have a good Memorial Day weekend. Tracy, it is gloomy here, and like 50 degrees, which feels really cool after a week of 80s. Almost done with yard work, but do plan on planting a few more perrenials in yard today, some lavendar and going to add some catmint around my mailbox, it is so pretty. For me, this is last day of 500 cal. and day, and I have stayed POP, but went up .2 again this morning, so now .4 over LDW and haven't even started P3. I think it is because I'm getting up an hour earlier? Don't know, I just hate I never get wiggle room for P3. It is what it is.
