    Good morning gals!

Tracy happy for you that you can hug again!! And at least you will be set in that bunker for a while!!

Dubbs hopefully you will have a good loss from today that will give you some wiggle room.

AFM I am down .4 today so far 1.6 under LDW. Hopefully I will lose a little more at tomorrow's weigh in and have a bit more wiggle room. I got the itinerary for my future daughter in laws 2 day bachlorette bash...The first night is bring your favorite bottle of wine and smores by the fire... The next day is make your favorite dessert day with whatever appliance you pick out of a hat... that should be fun!! Sounds like it's gonna be a lot of food/wine/spirits and sweets!! It is what it is. I am not gonna stress out too much, I really hope I stabilize well and can go into that week with a little wiggle room!! And hopefully they will have a scale so I can keep track!!

    Happy Memorial Day Weekend y'all!

I imagine most are pretty busy celebrating, enjoying their 3 day weekend. Business as usual here, DH is out playing golf with his golf league, so I will be starting P3 here, by myself! Weight this a.m. is 163.4, and last dose weight is 163.6. Ha, it is all good. Family is 500 miles away, so no family celebration tomorrow--but we will do a cookout now that I am on P3. Wish it was a little warmer, but it so beautiful, despite being coolish. I'll do a little work in yard, a garden ALWAYS requires work whether planting, watering, feeding or weeding! We do have plans for family to come home and celebrate July 4th together. Kids have so many activities, hard for them to have breaks! So will look forward to next holiday.

Hope eveyone has a good weigh-in. And if not, a better one tomorrow. As long as someone is being mindful of what their choices are, we really can't complain much. Official 1st p3 meal breakfast, my usual 3 sausage patties and coffee with cream. It was yummy as always. This morning's weigh-in had me down .6 from yesterday's weigh-in. That only gives me .2 wiggle room from last dose weight, at least I didn't start P3 already over last dose weight. I believe last time I had less than a pound of wiggle room. and was able to maintain nicely. During transition days I guess I was in a stall. Stalls are not always bad...I feel like for me they aid in maintenance, so not so many correction days are needed. These last few days, transition days, I was not hungry, I was afraid I would be, but I wasn't. But it was so difficult mentally--I don't know if others get these feelings, but it's fear of wanting to go back to old habits and foods. I just couldn't get my mind settled. I counted hours, I went to bed early, never went off protocol, but never saw good drops, and that was even more unsettling. Knowing this morning transistion was over, I felt better and not rushed to have breakfast. But I'm afraid I have a lot of work to do, for mental stability. Everywhere you go there are temptations, restaurants, ads on t.v., just going to the grocery--junk food, sugary treats everywhere. I do not want to gain these 40+ lbs back. So I have to get in the game mentally. Hoping to maintain until middle of August, or 1st of September, when I plan to do one more shorter round to lose last 10-12 lbs. before football/tailgating season. Happy Sunday everyone!

Good Sunday morning! Just a real quick check in. I start P3 today with a 2.2 # wiggle room ( I made it to 20 pounds exactly today, though it's not my LDW so I know it isn't gonna last)! I actually had cream in my coffee an hour earlier then I should have *71 hours since last dose. Since having covid and now having parosmia, coffee just doesn't taste as good as it once did... in fact, many things don't. Which is a really big bummer, but pretty helpful when trying to watch what I eat I guess. I am not even a bit hungry but I am going to cook up some bacon and have some eggs and a little greek yogurt with blueberries... ahhhh, different food!!

I really hope you all have a blessed day today and are enjoying a Happy Memorial Day weekend!

I donít know what got into me but I will tell you it involved complimentary creme brŻlťe and then key lime pie that a friend planned to bring over and weíll, I have some work to do starting tomorrow. My dad is taking me to dinner tonight. Heís not a big desert guy so thatís not a concern and I looked at the menu and itís clean and really doable. Iíll do fish. But man, give me freedom and an undisciplined mind set and Iím a beast.

I stopped by crumble today and got some cookies after Pilates and ate a giant Andes Mint cookie in the car. I never do that but I did. It was like a pound of cookie. I am admitting it here because itís something I would hide and if I voice it then itís out there and itís much like my old drinking but Iím sober now. This is mental for me and I need to tackle the underlying issue.

If I can tackle sobriety I can tackle this and might look at an OA group.

I will inject tomorrow and get back on for two weeks and then go into P3 with a plan. I canít do this again.

Starbucks, my mom is an alcoholic, her brother is, their Dad is, so that gene runs strong and brings out the foodaholic in me. I struggle to control my eating so I can really relate to you and your posts.

Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Happy memorial day weekend Sunday! LOL. Good for everybody that they are having fun and even some posting here.

If someone asked me if Iím a big eater, I wouldíve said yes, of course. I canít eat a lot in one sitting, but I like the 4 - 5 meals a day thing. Iím a grazer!

But evidently I am not a big eater, and I have been dieting for way too long.

I was very hesitant to weigh in this morning. We had a big family steak dinner yesterday evening, and I cooked all morning for my part. I roasted bell peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, asparagus , and teeny little red potatoes ( and cauliflower but forgot it in the oven and it burned into charcoal! Woops) and sautťed caramelized onions and mushrooms, cut up tomatoes and strawberries, and took an angel food cake with chocolate syrup and Reddy Whip.

So of course my PLAN was to enjoy steak topped with onions and mushrooms, sliced tomatoes and roasted veggies. A small bowl of strawberries w whipped cream for dessert.

    Yeah. No!

Of COURSE I had a couple of bites of potato, a half of a half of some garlic bread... and angel food cake with all the trimmings.

I figured Iíd be up .... 15 pounds... and also sure Iíd had 2000 calories at least.

Iím not very good at estimating. I was down .2, and when I got everything in the tracker, I only had 1245cal for the day. And I put everything down! No wait! I forgot the Tuaca! Thats another 150 calories. So 1395.

What Iím learning is I have a skewed idea on how much food is a lot!

    Huh. Who knew?
    Onward.

Charlie, good luck with your first day back on Protocol! I total faith that you will be successful. Sounds like your dinner with dad and birthday celebration with BF was fun, and tasty, I hope.

I'm sure lots of people have cook-outs, big plans today for the holiday--ENJOY!. Looks to be absolutely beautiful here in KY. Hope the same for you all. And here's thanks to all the veterans , whether alive or not. So many sacrifices by them and by their families while they serve. My dad was actually serving in the Military/Navy, in Korea when I was born, and he is buried in a beautiful national cemetery--not Arlington, but Zachary Taylor cemetery.

On another note, this is day 2 of P3 for me. I was concerned because I really upped calories immediately yesterday--I was ready to eat something, so we had burgers for dinner with wedge salads with bleu cheese crumbles and bacon bits and regular Ranch Dressing. Of course I didn't have my burger with bread, but did the onion, tomato, mayo as open faced burger and just as satisfying. It was good, but my tummy was not settled all night. Lot to digest right away. I was worried about weigh in this morning, but down slightly, by .4 to 163--now gives me wiggle room of .6 for P3! Ha! I think Phoebe has over 2 lbs of wiggle room, I'm jealous. DH and I will cook-out today, was thinking I wanted steak, but I love the grilled chicken that is marinated in olive oil, worcestershire sauce, spices. And we can grill enough for several meals during the week. So that, with roasted asparagus will be dinner tonite I do love P3.

I have a question, do most people have fruits on P3? And more than 1 fruit a day? I'm thinking about doing some strawberries or blueberries and making homemade whipped cream for dessert once in a while. But I often have strawberries in my protein drink (had that for lunch yesterday) and wasn't sure if it would be too much to have as a dessert after dinner as well. I like my fage yogurt for dessert, but I like to wait a few days before adding that. Wish I had more options for a treat for both DH and myself. Will check later, have a GREAT MEMORIAL DAY everyone!

Quick check in from my phone this am. I am up 1.1# but still 1.1#'s under LDW. I got in 1663 calories but what did me in, I am pretty certain, is movie theater popcorn that my daughter brought home with her last night. I ate probably 3 cups between 9:30 and 10:30 while my husband and I were watching Yellowstone. I also had a small glass of wine with my neighbor yesterday afternoon. Today we have a BBQ at my neighbor's house to go to and I am going try real hard to be good. 😬

Happy Memorial Day to everyone. I hope everyone had a successful weigh-in. 🇺🇸

You are under Phoebe, that is good. I love Yellowstone! Gorgeous scenery, a bingeworthy show! Have fun at your barbeque today. You had lots of wiggle room!

Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

Welcome to P3 all you Lovelies!

We still have some P2ers on here, and some P4s that check in now and again.

P2ers, chime in and tell me to cool it if describing P3 food is too hard on you!

Quieter day yesterday. But today I have 2 little soldiers down. Penny is huffing and coughing and pouting. Pearl wont put weight on her front paw and stayed in her bed all day yesterday and likely will today. I put some cream in a little bowl as she did not eat at all yesterday and she is considering it. I will have to wash her face later!

Im not sure if either of them have actual injuries or just hurt feelings. My 26 yr old niece brought her year old pup with her. Part Pitty, part Great Dane. Think Pit Bull on stilts with a square jaw and a bark like Darth Vader.

And a terrier personality. Beautiful dog, sweet and funny, but SO BIG and gallumpy.

My elderly sweethearts are not amused.

Rain, rain, rain here. Yesterday it hailed, pea-sized here but golf-balls elsewhere. The constant rain has prevented me from planting all the flowers, ground covers and strawberry plants I bought Friday. Good thing!

Fruit? Dubs, the P2.0 says no fruit but thatís the one thing I think it is wrong on. I can have so many carbs and I feel some fruits, in moderation, are part of healthy eating. So I just count them in carbs. I stick to the same P2 fruits, berries. -- adore them this time of year!! ó small apples, and oranges... I forget about grapefruit but itís on the list.

I do try to keep fruit separate from meals, leaving an hour or two on either side. A lot of P2 and P3 rounds I have cut out the fruits in the past, but adding them back like this last P2 and now in P3 has not slowed my losses or my stability. If I go over my carb count, its because of dairy ó or angel food cake ó not fruit.

Guilty little secret weapon: Reddy Whip. Not low fat kind or almond milk kindó real thing: on berries. Hey, itís 90% air.

    Your mileage may vary.

I seem to go up a little, down a littleó but so far only .8 over LDW at the most since correction day last Tuesday.

    Onward!!

PearlyMae, thanks for response on fruits in P3. I hear you on the Reddi Whip, feels so decadent, but mostly air.! Strawberries and whipped cream sound like a great dessert I actually purchased a couple of keto friendly mug cake things a few minutes ago Not sure when I will work up to making, I guess when I am dying for something different. Better that than a blizzard from Dairy Queen.

Hope both of the ladies get to feeling better today. The only time I never minded my girl Sophie feeling bad was when she was a puppy, and as she lay quietly in my arms, I told my Hubbs that I guess I really wanted a sick puppy--she was as wild as a March Hare when she was a puppy, and that brief period was so laid back and calm! Get better wishes being sent their way!

Keep it up, foodwise, sounds like you are in great shape. Enjoy your day, even if raining.
