Thread: Lovely Losers 2021- MAKING IT in May!

    P2 Day 9

    Woot! 168!! I reached my goal for this round, and LDW of the previous round. My cheat day had no effect on losing. My PI was a wonderful break and while I gained 3.6lbs, it all came off and then some in 9 days. 5 days left and then I am in P3 so that is where we'll see what happens stabilizing-wise.

    I woke up with such a deep sense of well-being. A side effect I love about HCG. I don't feel it as deeply all the time, but overall I do feel more balanced which is nice. I have nothing planned today and tomorrow so that I can work in my yard. Looking forward to a summer with outdoor visiting and LOTS of it!

    Phoebe, yes, congrats on your son's wedding!

    Deanna, hope it is a good round for you! If you continue to have immunity issues, have you thought about homeopathic hcg? It works really well for me.

    Tracy, I am 53. I think I lost 25-30 the first round 8-9 years ago, but after that it's been around 20. I think. How much do you lose a round on average?

    Good Morning Lovelies,

    Just a quick post as wow what a day it is going to be! I goofed this weekend and ate bad things Saturday night. I was at what was suppose to be a very small outdoor dinner, but it was a very small Chinese banquet--only a few people and TONS of delicious home made Chinese food courtesy of an old friend, and everything was so good. I introduced my old friend's daughter to a lovely guy, and this was their engagement party. I did not weigh myself after because I knew I would NOT be happy. I was so stuffed I ate barely anything Sunday ha ha. I rarely cheat so this was a surprise. But Yesterday, Monday, I was down to my pre-cheat weight and to day I am down 1.6 pounds. I am very grateful for that.

    I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and I will hope to catch up and read back later today!

    PS: calling The Evil Scale TES was in use here long before I showed up. But I will take credit for the added S= Stoopid! The Evil Stoopid Scale. (as in Never let TESS balance your checkbookó she is terrible at math! Mine will display my current weight and then my last weight. I.e 140, 141.8 and sayI lost 1.6 pounds. If the numbers are reversed, sheíll say I gained 2.0!) Evil!

    Crazy how this can go! I do not want to be encouraged by my cheat causing nothing until I see how I do in P3 but it sure is tempting me to not be so strict LOL Not going there, not going there, not going there!

    I'm 5'9" and at 150-155, I look haggard and drawn. My sweet spot is living between 160-165.

    I'm chipping away, little by little, same weight today, 171. If I can manage another 5 pounds by May 25, hooray for me! Caveat, at age 58, my process is slower. I looked back at previous rounds (on average one every 18 months in 11 years) the stalls are more frequent and I lose at a turtle pace compared to you youngins'.

    They said to do 150iu so 15 of the B12 in the butt it hips 5x week. I believe itís the same for the lipo. I feel like starting the lipo next week when things start to slow down and I want more for P3. I also ordered the Perfect Aminos. Oh and I have some calcium pyruvate coming too.

    I just got an ad for Flavor Gods spices and am tempted to order. I love spicing up my meats and veggies. Anyone use them?
    Off to read more. I am so bad with personals so I have to go in chunks!

    .8 gain this morning! Gains last 3 days. Oh brother! Am now .2 over LDW so doing a steak day today. I actually welcome it. Feels nice to have a little fasting break today. I think I’ve just been eating too much. I get hungry late afternoon. I probably eat too much at dinner. Need to figure this out.

    I feel like I have heavy bones as I always weigh more Than I look (people are shocked when I tell them). My goal weight is 150 but I have to make it stick. I can pack on 10-15 lbs in a matter of weeks and I know a lot of that is food sensitivity. I want to do a food sensitivity test but am pretty sure I can figure it out on my own. Iím on day 2 of VLCD.     I'm the same body type as you except I'm more busty (even after a breast reduction) and a bit taller. People say the same thing about me that I don't look like I weigh as much as 150, but everyone's weight is distributed differently. I even still look thin at 160, since I have no hips, thin long legs, a flat tummy and small waist. When I regain weigh it's always in the arms, back, and thighs.

    I also can gain 10-15 lbs. quickly due to food sensitivity. I've had the both the blood test and the hair tests for food sensitivities, and both are pretty spot on about the foods that I had figured out were problematic for me, although I tend to disagree about corn being bad for me since my favorite food is popcorn.

    Coco.... so funny you say that... even at my heaviest people always could not believe it when I divulged my weight.... I always thought they were just polite... haha
    But on Sunday , we went for lunch (cheated a bit) sitting at 161 and my friend's husband said... you ant to lose more??
    I always attributed it to dressing for my body so it hides the sins.... My weight is mainly an Apple type distribution so my legs are thinner and so I wear fitting underneath and soft drapy on top.... (Not baggy though) hiding the weight
    but looking at Starbucks picture I must say, I do understand his question.... I do somehow feel I can be Ok with my current weight, but I do want to stabilize below 70kgs....

    Welcome home Dubbles! Sounds like your PI is going well. I noticed last P4 that most grains and potatoes didn't affect my LDW too much, especially if homemade. There is mindful delicious eating in P4 ahead (channeling DivineMsM here!)

    Mrsstrong, my average daily loss in the first couple rounds was between .5 and .6. Those were the days! Last couple rounds I land between .4 and .45. With a longer round this time, along with patience, I'm hopeful to get to 162. Then I get to keep my boobs and my butt.

    Nice 1.2 pound drop this morning. I'm so relieved that I'm not heading into another stall. Twenty days to go, yes I'm counting. But not counting down to P3, I'm looking at this as 20 more days of opportunity and to enjoy this process. I remember when Leez said to consider this as a prescription, not a diet, and that mindset has really helped me this round. Along with all the forum's posts and stories and support!

    Msstrong, I woke up today feeling the exact same sense of well-being. Full force! I'm so motivated I may even brave the grocery store.

    I have a ton of lump crab meat in the pantry and don't know what I feel like doing with it. Please share your recipes, my friends!

    Today's commute is down the stairs to the home office. I hope there's no traffic. Yesterday was a nightmare, two cats on the stairs waiting to merge and neither one of them waved thanks when I let them go in front of me! The nerve.

    Mrsstrong, only 5 days left on P2--wow, seems to me this is going by pretty quickly. Feel that way to you? And at goal!?! Awesome! We have a dinner to go to this Saturday nite, so am using Planned Interruption time for socializing, plan to eat on P3 then--except for alcohol. Plans are to go back to P2 proper on Sunday, May 16th, and will continue thru the end of Month, be on P3 by June 1st ? That's plan anyway. Hoping to do as well as you have done.
