Thread: Lovely Losers 2021- AWESOME in April!!

    P2 Day 20

    I guess week 3 is the week of stall/super slow losses. I am at 174.2 today, down .6 but was at 174.8 for at least 2 days if not 3 (didn't weigh yesterday). Interestingly, it may be because of the added grissini so I will not have them for a few days and see. I would then need to test again to be sure. It's only been a 1.4 loss this week even if still an average of 14.6 in 20 days. No complaints! My hope is to be at 170 by the end of this round so I am still not sure if the interruption will be the end or not but we'll see I guess. The suspense!

    P2 Day 18

    Day 18 of P2 and down 15.4 pounds overall! Feels great to crack 15 pounds. I had a 1.1 pound loss overnight, but nothing the night before so still averaging that .5 pounds per day.

    With the new month I get to back off my training schedule a bit which is nice as I just started a new job on Monday and have found myself a bit more tired of an evening than previous weeks.

    mrsstrong good luck with the grissini experiment. You're having a great round! Are you doing 23 days or 40?

    I've been lurking. It's good to see everyone plugging along!

    I'm on P4D21. I've decided to plan for a weekly steak day as a pre-emptive measure, since that's about how often I've needed one and they are effective. Maybe that will help me maintain better. Fingers crossed.

    Happy Easter every-bunny!

    P4D19 and staying nicely within my window. Had Chinese take-out yesterday and only up 0.6 this morning, so it was pretty well tolerated... I'll eat very clean and P3 for the next few days and let DH finish the leftovers and all should be good. Contemplating doing a 30 day round mid-April to try and whittle away at the last 15 lbs. Have not decided yet. Getting first vaccine tomorrow - finally... 2nd dose is due 3 or 4 weeks after, so my decision about another round may be based on how well I tolerate the vaccine.

    Hope everyone has a nice Easter weekend!

    Congrats! I just now realized we are at pretty much the same spot! I am doing a 40 day round with an interruption 4/13-4/22. But! If I am at goal for this round (170) I will probably stop there

    And you as well! Three of us at pretty much the same spot!

    Weekly steak day in P3? Considering I often intermittent fast at least once a week, it makes sense to me to do this. I would just make sure to get enough calories so as to not mess up metabolism. On those days I eat properly and get all my calories in within one eating window. It works really well for me. Well, when I do this anyway LOL

    Trying some lobster today, never had it in any of my rounds, because it's expensive lol. I'm tired of spinach and celery as veggies, ugh. I eat mostly chicken, some cod and some shrimp during rounds. I need to weigh myself, I've lost and am looking much better, but I do think injections I lose much better than drops, so next time it's injections. Plus when I start work again, remembering drops will be hard, I can remember 2x a day but 3x a day is difficult! I can't have asparagus (allergy and I love asparagus, although I should try it it's been years, maybe it was a false positive I dunno). I have lettice, tomato on hand and sometimes eat cucumber, but I hate raw tomato (I love sauce), I hate cucumber so I gag eating it lol. I have not experimented enough with zucchini yet to see if I lose on it, I'd eat zucchini the whole time. I love this diet, with weight loss and it puts my stomach condition in "remission", but in p4 I could never just eat chicken breast and spinach my whole life lol. I think I have reactions to onions (acid reflux) but I love onions, so I'd be roasting those. My veggie options suck. One day I should experiment on other protocols besides the OP so I can have more choices. lol. I'm about 21 days in on the Vlc part, so I got another week or more for my 30 days. I really want to push it to 40 just because, but 1. I don't know if I have enough drops, 2 I return to work then and It's very physical and I don't know if I can sustain 500 calories lol, let alone have time to take my drops or nibble on an apple during the day.

    I've been on leave since Oct. so I'm irritated to go back to work for 7 weeks, have a totally different job than what I signed up for. Luckily, I have a surgery in June so I can't work that month and I have summer off. Plus my pay will suck, because it will be prorated (work for school district). so I work 7 weeks, then they spread it out over end of May to end of Aug paychecks. Not only will I be working my arse off, I will be getting 1/3 of what i normally make, and I won't even get my first paycheck until 1.5 months later. The way they pay and do things, suck, I make more way more on leave and I wish I would have talked my doctor into keeping me on leave until June lol.

    I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

    Hello Everyone! So good to catch up with you all and congratulations on all successes. A loss of 3.2 lbs in the last few days, so a welcomed return to losing after a bouncy/slow week (due to TOM). Just 2.2 lbs from goal and still time to get there Nearing the end of this long round, so hoping the bouncing around really evens out for stabilization going into P3.     Congrats You will do fine with vax. I had Moderna second shot Some chills and aches second day. Took tylenol twice and good to go Sore arm is a given.

    My best loss days are when I have a large lobster tail for one meal, and beef for the other. I usually do that on Suindays in P2 and call it my surf & turf day!

    Hello everyone,

    It's been 10 years since I was here!
    Ten years ago I lost 102 pounds on 4 rounds of HCG. I immediately gained back 20 lbs as I just simply felt too skinny and bony, spent 5 years at that stable weight before facing a serious illness that laid me up for 6 months, gained weight during that time and slowly but surely afterward. I did a solo round about a year ago and got back to a happy place about 2 weeks before the pandemic, I have spent the last year very isolated and eating. I find myself back to the weight I started with 10 years ago !!
    So I am back and ready !!
    I find I need people to share this journey with and be accountable to as I go along, I did my first injection this morning and will spend Easter weekend loading. I want to do a 40 day round to start.
    Not sure what threads here are the active ones or the right ones to look for some diet travel friends, but figured this was a good place to start!!
    Wish I wasn't doing this again, but I know I am in the right place doing the right thing!!!

    Yes, that makes sense. I guess for me it will be a weekly intermittent fast day with steak and apple.
