Funny thing, I feel like I've lost the gain, no feelings of being bloated, feet/hands, no swelling but the scales are not co-operative. DH gained slightly more than me at meal and he said he has dropped back to normal, but he doesn't have hcg floating in his body! I was just thinking, tho--I had hair appmt yesterday and she put an all over gloss treatment on my hair. When there I honestly did not give it a second thought--but she puts it on, wraps it up and then you sit with it on for 45 minutes. Makes your hair super shiny, I love what it does. But omg, when I didn't lose but .4 this morning I started asking why, then I remembered the hair glossing! I've never worried about getting my hair done before while on hcg, and I use my usual shampoos, but this is a treatment I don't always get. Wonder if that is why I didn't drop more from dinner on Monday night. Oh well, too late to do anything about it. Will see what happens tomorrow. Hope everyone else has a happier weigh-in than I did!

Hang in there Dubbles. I know how frustrating gains can be, but think of your dinner out with friends as a really nice needed mental health date. The weight will come down after the water weight leaves. The important thing is that you really enjoyed yourself. Your dinner sounded absolutely scrumptious. I love sea bass and ate it quite frequently on other rounds, but Sams quit stocking it awhile back and I haven’t been able to find it frozen.

I also bought the NativePath Collagen and had my first serving in my coffee this am. No taste and no smell like you said. I’ll continue for several months to see if I can discern any noticeable difference.

I hope everyone has a rewarding losing day.

Thanks for your support Deb. About the collagen, I haven't been on a month yet, but when I went to get nails done Monday and they took gel off--I really believe my nails looked better. No quite so much like layers of paper. We'll see, I'm sure it will take several months to see a real difference. Fingers crossed for us!

JGD, I'll just have to be patient, I've read that it can take several days, too. It will come down, and frankly, I enjoyed so much it was worth it! Ha!

LINDERLOU, Enjoy the Vitamix--you're gonna love it. I would use a blender and the Vitamix is on a whole different level! Strawberries, ice, stevia berry flavoring and it taste like, looks like a shake! My blender never did the ice enough! Love it!

So much great advice and sharing on here! Thanks everyone for chiming in for me and others. I learn from all y'all about every little thing.

Linda, glad to see you're taking such good care of my retirement home :-)

AFM, still stuck on the water slide at Tracy's Carnival Emporium. Made my seafood soup finally yesterday and George ate two bowls! This child of mine! He put a little grated parmesan on it ( how I eat it in P3). I'll just make more.

Cupcake, if you are reading - I ordered the calcium d glucarate, started two weeks ago and just like you, I feel sunnier! Thanks for the rec. I know it doesn't replace vitamin d from sunlight but I can't get direct sun especially on my face as I have a history of skin cancer. I miss the benefit of soaking in the rays.

Wishing everyone a sunny day, too!

    Hi everyone!

Tracey-what is this calcium d glucarate of which you speak?

So today the scales the same as yesterday, the same as day before, same as before that. I think I need to take mag cit tonight before bed, as I may be stopped up. Kinda busy as work but everyone hang in there and believe in the process.

Good for you Savannah on 1 lb loss! Bet you have missed Mr. S. being gone that much. Is it easier for you to stay on protocol with him gone, or does it not matter much?

My first transition day was yesterday. Todayís weight .8 down. Looking forward to getting through today and eating P3 tomorrow.

Tracy, I starting taking calcium d-glucarate about 3 weeks ago. I do believe it is helping with my sleep. Supposedly, one of the things it does is helps to clear excess estrogen from your system. I read a lot of reviews on it and a lot of people swear by it. Itís great for your liver, so I figure itís a good supplement to add in.

Linderlou, glad to hear you are still stabilizing well. Let us know how you like your Vitamix. I think youíre gonna love it.

2manydays, hang in there! You WILL start losing again. I hope itís soon!

Heís doing a round too, so that helps. It is easier with him gone though, because he has a tendency to cheat and post bigger losses than I do when I donít cheat. Last weekend, I lost 0.8 total (thanks TOM) to his 4 lbs and I get frustrated and want to eat like him. It does take more mental strength to keep it up. Thankfully, the scale finally rewarded me the last two days.

I do miss him like crazy.

    Good Morning Lovelies,

How is everyone? I am behind at work but thinking of you guys.

I did not lose any weight yesterday but am down .8 today. So 6.4 pounds here on P2 D5...Gosh, I know this sounds greedy but I was hopeful of better losses week one!!!! Well, at least it's not a stall. I have those every round also.

Hope everyone has a great day.

    Fondly,

rk, I think if you don't have many lbs to lose, you aren't going to have as huge losses even the first week. Looks like you only wanted to lose 16 lbs., and you lost by day 5 almost 6 1/2--that's pretty good, I'm thinking. I think we all are a little greedy on our loss expectations on P2. You're not alone there. But looks like you are having a very successful 1st week. Only 10 lbs to go, that's awesome.
