Over the years, the Lovelies are the ones I have found comfort from and you all did it again. Thank you.

My Mom passed away in her sleep yesterday morning. Everyone kept it from me, as I had a job interview at 1 pm and they wanted me to be able to go to it and not burst into tears half way through. It was a kindness, but who knows if I will get the job? I did fine on the interview, but it depends on what they want, and so far, I have had several interviews and no one has hired me lately. The right one will come along, but I was very touched by how my entire extended family - 60+ people - were keeping radio silence on Social media, etc. so I wouldn't know. My sister insisted I come to her house right after, making me think she wanted a recap of the interview, but it was so she could break the news in person.

So, no trip cross country, no taking the wee doggie anywhere. My Mom just wanted a memorial time at our next family reunion, which was postponed to this year sometime after the pandemic canceled it last year.

She was ready to go, and while it was sudden for us, it was also as painless and quiet as one can get, so I am glad she didn't suffer or have to be hooked up to machines, etc. We are Believers, and we know she is happily with my Dad, and her folks, etc.
May her memory be a blessing. I am so sorry for your loss, yet also feel it is such a blessing when someone comes to the end of their life here this way. I hope it can be somewhat of a comfort as does your faith.

Welcome back! Even if for a reason we all hope to avoid. I gained all my previous weight back in a short time so in the process of losing that now. Did a PI and finishing the last two weeks starting tomorrow.

    Good luck!

Tracy, hope you feel OK after your shot!

Dubbles, I miss MissM too! I hope she is spreading her wings and testing the waters and doing great.

FWIW, I remember when I was here before that it can mean that you need to adjust your dose if you are thinking about food all the time.
My breakfast is coffee and a fruit btw. It helps me too to have something.

You've also done so well losing. Maybe it is just a good time to take a break and enjoy healthy P3 eating. I think if you eat what is allowed and eat well, you will be just fine.

I hope you had a good weekend, Dubbles! ETA nice on the 1.4 drop!

JGD, doing great! Initially, you will gain some weight because you are just eating more food and have more bowels. That is why we don't look at those no drop/injection days. You are right on target.

Karbee, great losses! And so close to goal! Now what will you do? Just leave those pounds for what they are?
Hope it's a great P3. I always worry about those transition days but I end up being fine every time.

Tracy, yum that meal sounds delicious! Decadent P2 LOL Yay on the loss!

Hey Starbucks! Nice to see you, you got this! I know how you feel, my PI (although "unplanned") in Feb turned into a 7 week long pause... You can sit on the wagon right next to me!

Down another 1lb, average is exactly .5 a day and includes the 6 day stall. Week two is always a stall or lull, if I do this again, maybe I'll avoid the scale days 7-14. Might as well!

All you lucky birds moving into P3, your menus don't tempt me like they have in the past because everyone is eating so intentionally well. I'm using your experiences for information! All good stuff. Eat some butter on my behalf :-)

And thanks all for asking about the vaccine. I only had a sore arm for about 24 hours. Next shot is 5/15. The vax center was at the metro and staffed with all the gorgeous men and women of the armed services. Eye candy for us non candy imbibers. Mama takes what she can get these days. Hubba hubba

I went rogue yesterday and added some onions to my spinach sautee. With diced GF chicken. It was like a casserole. I cook my applesauce so it's like custard, Aunt Cleo's recipe. Although her recipe uses brown sugar. Nice to know I can enjoy in P3 with stevia when I get there.

It's my last week commuting to DC and I'm bittersweet. I enjoyed working in the city but the commute stole about 3 hours of my day on average. I'll be glad to get that time back!

Hope all y'all have the best day and off to a great week!

    Hey everyone

Pearly-so very sorry about your mom. Its so hard to put into words how a loss like that affects us. But it does and please allow yourself that.

Dubbles-I like your honesty about the relationship with food - its such a fickle bi*ch -one minute we are totally in control of our feelings and then images or past feelings about it make us
throw caution out the window. All I can say is one day at a time; if you slip its ok just get back on the horse. P3 is coming for me soon too and I always feel like I hope I can keep my head in the game. Maybe I'm so far gone with my relationship with food I'll just have to do a round once a year to keep it from slipping away. But really this pandemic has had a starring roll for alot of us in going down that rabbit hole.

    Starbux-welcome back!

Tracey-that ride into DC is brutal but bright side of one more week!

Good luck to all beginning the journey-you know what you need to do!

AFM-DH got the 2nd moderna shot and got super sick-temp of 104 so fussed around him all day Sunday but today hopefully feeling better. They need to come up with a name for the 2nd shot sickness. But I did manage to squeak out 1.5 over the weekend so alls good. My pants are super loose so not sure what size I actually need but thinking of going to the outlets around mothers day to see what I can fit into.

    Cheers & happy Monday!
    Jeanette

Good morning beauties! Beautiful day here is Kentucky, warming up nicely after that crazy April snow last week!

STARBUCKS, One day this past week I started to send a shout out to you! (In fact, DH asked if you were still on forum, as you know know, you've both experienced similar challenges in life), so very good to hear from you, tho like mrsstrong said, maybe for reasons we hope to avoid. But we are all human, and you are coming where you need to be for encouragement early, before much damage. That's smart! You still exercising like crazy? I'm sure you know most of the ladies active on forum right now, absolutely great group of people, all helpful and encouraging! Welcome back!

mrsstrong, Good morning! Hope your first day in p2 goes by quickly and with great results in the a.m. I think you are right about me--time for a break. Interesting to hear your take on planned interruption after a few days back in P2? I found a little challenging to get my head back in the game, but only real difficult a few days, so hang in there! I found a chart of a couple of rounds I did in 2010 and was surprised those 2 rounds were short rounds , about 23 dose days and during that first round lost 19.4 lbs and in second round lost 16.4 lbs. Not losing quite as much this 2nd round this year, but I am ok. I brought this up because you said maybe it is time for a break--seems like I wanted a break after about 3 weeks in all rounds! Good luck with the return to P2 after PI--you got this. You did great on that vacation/trip, really.

TRACY, love your posts, you are so funny! We all can use some humor. Your averages are much like mine, around .5 per day. The idea of weighing less often after week one makes so much sense to me, I just am so anxious to see losses, I don't know if I can control myself to stay off scales. Nice, getting vax from "eye candy". Too funny, me-not so lucky! I was thinking yesterday about how I had gone rogue too. Yep, I only had 1 fruit (strawberries) yesterday so when dinner came round, I grilled onions on my chicken and had cabbage (from crockpot) all in same meal! That is not POP, but I did it (still calories under 500) and I felt a little guilty! We are real REBELS! It was good, too!

Jeanette, Thanks for your wonderful encouragement and insight. Yes, one day at a time. Would love to get to place Leez seems to be, to not even be tempted by junk, or unhealthy eating. It'll take me a while to get there, and a conscious effort to stay there. A goal. Sorry to hear about DH's Moderna vaccine reaction. Seems quite a few people have reaction to 2nd shot of Moderna. Has he had Covid in past year. Seems I vaguely recall hearing those who've had covoid can experience harsher reactions to the vaccine. Hope he is much better today. Down 1.5 over the weekend? Good for you!I think you are doing a 30 day round, and will be on P3 by Mother's day--so you will be there soon! We are close as far as days on p2, I plan on being in P3 for Mother's day too, but will be going back to P2 soon after for completion of 40 day round, which will be another 2 weeks. But it is something to look forward to. Hope you have a great Monday, and DH feels much better today.

AFM: Last dose day before my planned interruption. 72 hours and then I will have on Thursday a.m. a cup of coffee with cream, and that first cup always tastes like a dessert to me! So from last dose day of last round, I've only lost 10.8 lbs over this 23 very low calorie day round (25 dose days), which would be a .469 loss per day over vlc days. If you included my load day gains, it would take stats to 14.8 loss and average of .64 loss per day over that round. So looking back it's pretty much on par for other rounds, maybe a little bit down. Though pounds might not be as great as 1st round, I see a huge difference in inches (much more than after 1st round) as far as clothes go. I don't exercise as much as many of you do, just a few stretching, floor exercise daily--but I plan on getting back into exercise more after I complete this round, by end of May. My last PI in
February went really well, hoping for the same--you never know, but I plan on eating P3 as much as possible--afraid I may be drinking /celebrating a tad more this PI. But will plan on being focused! A few more days of vlc--I don't usually lose too much during these 72 hours, I mean almost nothing, but we'll see. Have a great day everyone!

PearlyMae, still thinking of you--hope you are doing ok, keeping family and friends close. Hope you hear from interview soon! Hugs.

Dubbles, I do usually rebound a bit after good losses. Friday was 0.2 lbs, 2.4 more Saturday, and another 0.8 today. I知 glad you bounced back into losses. I had a day similar day Saturday and still tried injecting hcg a couple days. I mixed more and have fresh hcg today. I also drank quite a bit of alcohol that finished hitting me today with swelling. My knee and rib are extra sore and my eyes are puffy. I知 hoping it痴 not an entire week to get it back down.

JGD, happy eating in p3. Your menu sounds amazing.

Polly, I知 so sorry to hear of your mom. I知 glad you had good company and your favorite adult beverages. Fingers crossed that you don稚 rebound.

Karbee, congrats a such a great round. Amazing!

Tracy, good going in the pound drop. Your dinner sounds amazing.

Good morning! Having my coffee and wondering how my hunger will be today. I mean, no drops for 14 days and now just getting thrown into it is a bit weird feeling. Mentally I feel that maybe loading for even a day would have made me feel better. We'll see. I may need to have a little more protein today if I do get hungry.

I am not sure I understand your question, Dubbles?

Woohoo! Your average is exactly what is expected. Yay on the inches! Lovely feeling.
Wishing you a great PI. The no injection days don't count for weight anyway and they give the little cushion needed when we have more food in our bellies so think of it that way

mrsstrong, I was just saying, that I had a bit of difficulty getting back into game to complete my p2 after break--wondering if it was me, or if you'll experience the same. It just seemed a little harder to mentally eat so little after having great P3 food . Before when I started a round, I was really anxious to get going--unfortunately after PI I think I was more anxious to go back (into p3), portions seemed skimpier than ever. But after a few days it was ok. Oh, and I DID load again, it wasn't a terribly heavy load, but I know if you do over 14 days, they say to reload, and i did 14 days break and actually wanted to load. But it wasn't an extreme load, found I couldn't eat much, but did do for 2 days.

I didn't on ealier post, today is last dose weight--but I didn't lose anything yesterday, stayed exactly the same. The day before, at Sunday's weighin I dropped 1.4, I was expecting to pick up a little of that (often do) but it did hold. Don't expect to lose much with no dose days, rarely do. Though would love that little wiggle room.

Ah yes, I see! I did not have that problem. I was expecting it because it is what kept me from round two after last round but I am happy to have these two weeks. If PIs work well for me, I think I may do it next round. The break is a delight! And I know I will have all that food soon! Minus what made me gain!

Right, I was a bit confused what days count towards the PI days so I think I should have followed my gut on this, but I am fine today so far. Worked out, having lunch and it all seems just fine.

Wiggle room is nice for sure. Ah to have more control over it all LOL
