    Not sure what threads here are the active ones or the right ones to look for some diet travel friends, but figured this was a good place to start!!
    Wish I wasn't doing this again, but I know I am in the right place doing the right thing!!!

    Welcome back, Emlyn! Good for you to grab the bull by the horns! You know it works and it sounds like you did great maintaining. When life gets tough, food can be such a comfort. I am glad you are healthy again!

    I totally overate when Covid hit and am here to lose those pounds. Did one round last fall after also maintaining my 90pound loss for years, lost 20, postponed the next round, gained 20, and now back it to get to goal.

    Getting ready to do another 26 day round. It's been about a year. I recently starting using Essential Aminos to protect lean muscle loss and help with building muscle from working out. I was wondering if anyone has used Essential Aminos or BCAA's during their HCG protocol?

    Agree! I was so pleased to see 139.4 the first time, but after bouncing between that and 138.8 Like Four times,... sigh. But, I wanted to lose 10 pounds and thats what I did so cant complain.

    Today should be my last P2 day, but I skipped one dose - accidentally - and I still have plenty of hcg Id like to just settle and stop bouncing before I transition. Besides, starting P3 mid-week is no fun! So will probably keep going a few more days.

    Then P3, P4 and Ill be back for another 10!

    Hi, it's me, StillStalled. Nice to meet you! LOL

    Week 3 saw one pound loss. Here is hoping for a better week4, without Grissini to be sure. I have a bad sunburn on my face and neck so that does not help. I had no idea the sun was so strong when directing traffic at a vaccine site. Today I will wear a cap and a shawl around my neck! I am not sure if there is any fat-free sunscreen

    Hello all,

    I know that in a few days or weeks I will look back at this moment and wish I was still in it. But right now in the last few hours of my second day of loading I am bloated, stuffed, sick to death of food and looking forward to not having to eat !!

    P2 Day 21

    Hang in there mrsstrong! Would a 100% mineral sunscreen like zinc work?

    I'm in a 'nothing one day, big loss the next' pattern which I suspect is driven by my workout schedule. Fine, so long as the losses show up eventually

    Day 21 of P2 and I'm down 17.1 pounds. I'm planning on going to at least 30 dose days, will see where I'm at then to decide if I keep going to 40. I just became vaccine eligible so part of me wants to wrap things up so I can do that as soon as possible, but I've also never done an interruption and just want to plough through to P3. Vaccine sites are (right now) only making appointments for same and next day so that also makes it hard to plan.

    Okay,,,here I go !!

    First day of the first round, mentally prepared, need to run to the store!!

    I'm nervous! I need to really hang in there with this and get my "self" back. I went to get dressed yesterday and wanted to wear something besides yoga pants for Easter and I couldn't !! Even stretchy skirts didn't work ! So, yeah, I am Longgg past due for this, I just didn't feel comfortable getting started till I had both vaccine doses and that just happened last week,,,,,keeping my eye on the goal..to have my wardrobe back and feel comfortable in my own body!!

    Okay,,,here I go!!

    Karbee: I used a mineral one, yeah. Some of them are still oily but I think the one I got from Mychelle was not. Who cares about white face!

    Okay, I was NOT a good bunny. I got really lost hopping down the bunny trail. EEEk.

    Well, Here I am, broken Easter eggs and trampled baskets and all. I was convinced to go to my sister's in-laws for a big deal Easter dinner in their new house. Very nice people, but ya know, it is just not the same as your own family. Even your OWN in-laws are better ---tho I don't have any anymore.

    First, we were an hour and a half late because my sister's family's three dogs disappeared about 10 minutes before we were to leave. FINALLY found them --an old lady dog with arthritis who we couldn't imagine walking more than a block, the family Crazy Dog who was probably the instigator, and a 4 month old puppy---they were over a mile away at a park. We spread out in all directions in cars and ATV's and on foot (they live in the country) and finally narrowed it down that the only direction we hadn't gone was where the park was, and made my sister stay home in case someone read their tags and called, and we all sort of converged at once, and there they were. Someone HAD called, but my sister couldn't get through to us as the cell service is spotty out there. Well, we were all on the same page and f0und them, so happy ending. We got to the in-laws place --super fancy, the sister-in-law is an interior designer--and their OTHER guests weren't there yet. They had a sick dog and were Two hours late.

    Yes, by then I was starved out of my mind, though I did eat an early breakfast. But that is no excuse for me having ham and scalloped potatoes. I COVERED my plate with lettuce salad, but it had been pre-dressed with something that looked and tasted like just olive oil. Like I needed that! The roasted carrots were fabulous, but candied. Ugh. By the time I had sinned that much, what's a teeny slice of chocolate Bundt cake and a dab of lemon tart gonna do?

    Up .8. So far. Sometimes stuff like that wallops me the SECOND day, sort of like bruises and stiff muscles.

    So good thing I already decided to go a few more days! I need to wear off this extravagant CHEAT and catch my breath!

    Hi PearlyMae glad all the doggies are okay, they are the best but too often themselves in a pickle. All will be well in the days to come as you get back on track.

    So Wed is VLCD 26, day 28. I was thinking of stopping the drops then, so Friday night then I could have an almond milk cocoa with stevia, I miss something creamy so bad! I also am looking really good, so wanted to go 38 days at least, but, my issue is I'm starting to get hungry, I constantly forget to take my drops (1x a day) so I either end up not taking them or taking them hours late. I start work again next week which is very exhausting/running around so if I'm weak now from hunger, that is not going to work for me. Hmmm choices. If I go to Friday, 28 vlcdays then I would eat normal by Sunday night or Monday morning (when I start work). But my stomach has been doing so good from this diet (I have a stomach condition), that I like how I go into a remission type mode with it. I just wonder if I can squeeze out another week and half or just stop Wed, so I can eat normal by Saturday morning (low carb) and then I start work Monday and I won't feel hungry or forget to take drops at work.

    I'll be doing another round anyway at end of June or end of August or something. with Injections next time. I want to be my normal skinny self. I look good, but not to my lowest weight yet. I'll weigh in Wed.

    I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!
