Thread: Lovely Losers 2021- AWESOME in April!!

Tracy, Iím sorry youíre on another stall. They get frustrating. Youíre funny speaking of the weather and chalk. Haha!

Dubbles, enjoy that cream in your coffee. Sucks that you didnít get that wiggle room, but you lost a lot of weight this year. Steak days are great at correcting. Iím pretty sure that over 2 weeks and reloading is a new round.

TMDays, woohoo on another 0.8 pounds down.

So, Iím finally down all the weight I gained last weekend. Iím down 12 total from pre load. I had a long load this round and am 20 injections in. Iíve decided to stop injecting today for a PI (I know itís a little too early but Iím going a bit rogue). Iím making this decision because my entire weekend will be filled with road trips, baby shower, and visitors. I donít trust my strength to not eat low fat as I screwed up last weekend when my pregnant BFF and cousin (plus their husbands) spent the weekend with us and I donít want to grown immune to prescription hcg while I lose and gain the same 4 lbs week after week.

Hambone has captured all of our hearts and suddenly everyone wants to come out to the country and spend time with us. LoL

My husband is smoking a beer can chicken on Friday for a couple friends and Iím not clear of hcg until 3 am Saturday. My sister in law is bringing a keto lasagna up on Saturday and Iím making a veggie tray. Sunday we are traveling to SF Bay Area for my baby shower and getting
our rings cleaned and checked for our diamond warranty.

If Iím up over 2 lbs from 147.2 on Monday, it will be a steak day and I will continue to eat Ketoish until after Motherís Day. My goal was 145 and then 140. I still have 20 injection days to get there. I just need to be to P4 by mid June when my MIL comes for 3 weeks and cooks my husbandís favorite childhood dishes.

Tracy, just be happy your name isnít Richard. You could be Rick or Rich but not the other common nicknameó which I have seen censored on here before. Even tho, like you, it wasnít being used in that way. Must be an algorithm!

Dr. S called these pauses in losing Plateaus. Remember the graphic Christy used to post for it? After losing fat, fat cells fill up with water and hold on tight, as if holding a seat for the fat in case it comes back. Finally, woosh, they give up and let the water go and the scale catches up. So, just keep doing all the right things. Itís working.

So far, I kept yesterdayís unusual but welcome loss. Down another .6 today.

Although Iím half way through Week 3 of P3, I havenít added much in the way of carbs. No sweet potatoes. Few nuts, though I made almond flour English Muffins. No almond butter, and using dairy as a ďcondiment not an entree or snack.Ē So, that may be what is keeping me in keto.

I gave myself a way to make my PI decision: If I pop back up again by Saturday, Iíll do a PI. If I keep the losses from this week, Iíll stay the course on P3.

I need to read up on P4. I never seem to get there. I sort of eat P3 with cheats. As Ive had to do multiple rounds over the past NINE years, l probably need to refine that!

Have a great day, every buddy! Have FUN!

    Onward!

    Good Morning Lovelies,

Mrs.Strong, Glad to hear that you are connecting with your brother. It must be hard sometimes to be so far away. I have an old back injury from years ago, (Soft tissue, a bad collision I was hit by a drunk driver) but I do daily exercises for back strength and stretching. I rarely if ever have back pain because I do my quick routine in the morning and while watching the TV in the evening. So this has been a big shock for me and I am surprised how bad it has been. Today is better, no naprosyn and doing ok. I will probably take 2 epsom salt baths, walk and some stretches but no weights or lifting of anything like groceries, etc. Any advice on back pain or exercises is always welcome from fellow sufferers.

Savannah the piglet looks so cute! Thank you for sharing the picture! How big will Hambone get? Will this affect what the kids eat? Mine have gone vegetarian....It can make meals challenging, I didn't make it a big deal (My grandpa was a butcher, I have cut down the meat but we still have a lot of meat, chicken and fish) I noticed they ate chicken and shrimp last time they were all here...kids...right? Good Luck with the PI, it sounds like a good idea in your circumstances. Congrats on dropping that extra weight!

Pearly: I just sometimes need a mental vacation from the diet mid round. A few days/week off usually around an event or trip and then I give myself a motivational pep talk and I feel back and fresh. Motivational pep talk is the key, and I have great losses post PI like week 1. I have read here about other people not having a good experience if they don't do the minimum of 23 effective days before the PI. I hope that helps. I am waiting for the woosh Pearly! I like your PI maybe plan strategy. Good way to look at it.

Starbucks: Looking forward to hearing how you do on those pills.

Tracy, sorry you are on another stall. I too am stalled! Woosh fairy come soon please!

AFM:I need some virtual hand holding: I AM IN A 4 DAY PLATEAU!!!!! UGH!!!!! It is P2 day 12 and it seems too early to be in a plateau! I am stopping the Naprosyn, and going to try to drink more water. I have been completely POP so this is disappointing. We have company coming this weekend and I am trying to craft menus where I can just eat P2--Like shrimp kabobs and a plain one for me. My DH wants me to take a break but it is too soon for me and I think I can manage this since we will be eating all meals here (COVID) or take out and I can make my own stuff. Hopefully the woosh comes soon!

Tracy, sorry about your stall... I guess you missed the round that I and a few others did in February where we experienced Ground Hog Day for a solid week. Very frustrating, so hang in there! Oh, and as for being a potty mouth, try posting something about those nocturnal critters who look like they're wearing a mask .... that gets blocked too

Darling pig pictures, Savannah! Sounds like you guys have some busy weeks ahead!

Dubbles, yay for P3! Enjoy your expanded menu. With the PIs you've done over the last few months, I know you've got this!

Pearly, hope a PI works out for you. Sounds like a lot of the Lovelies have been having great success with it. With you being so close to goal, it may just give you that nudge to get down that little bit more. I'm going to keep a PI in mind when I plan out my round for in the fall too.

Ok, now I've lost track of everyone else... sorry... guess my brain is already full this morning. But congrats on losses and stabilizing all of you!

AFM: Not much news as usual. I'm really Loving all of the support and encouragement on this forum as well. Thanks everyone.

I guess technically I am done with P4, but still eating mostly P3. I did get my Vitamix, but haven't used it yet. P2 Day 4

Don't have much time so before anything else: Down 0.8. Very exciting! Changed things up and had an orange for breakfast. *mind blown* LOL
    ETA DOWN 1.2! Can't do math! 172.2 to 171.

I was naughty yesterday though and had a T of P3 BBQ sauce. Maybe it will bite me tomorrow so we'll see. It has erythritol and arrowroot in it that are not P2. I got too hungry in between meals (too much time) and it didn't smell good to me but I was not going to throw it out so... BBQ sauce helped and made it really good. Not going to make a habit out of it. for sure. You just never know down the road. I just have on serving left of said meat so not sure what I will do. I hate throwing things out. I may hide it in my family's ground beef and make burgers for them tonight.

Not yet. Weíve had cows and the girls still throw down on burgers. They were angus cattle for eating too. We have chickens and they will eat chicken and eggs. I donít have meat birds though. They free range in the daytime and locked up at night for their safety. We donít particularly love goats meat so no issues there. lol

They also love bacon. My little one doesnít really care for other forms of pork, but my 17 year old loves ribs and carnitas I make.

She isnít supposed to get over 100 lbs. Iíve heard stories of people selling pigs as Miniatures when they grow to 300 lbs. Mommy and Daddy are pretty petite, so Iím hoping all goes well. IF she does get too big for the house, we will just build her a pen next to the goats shed and let her hang with them. We definitely have the space. Now Mr. S joked about the butcher, but heís in love with her so...

Weíve only had her since Tuesday, but I

I’m making this decision because my entire weekend will be filled with road trips, baby shower, and visitors. I don’t trust my strength to not eat low fat as I screwed up last weekend when my pregnant BFF and cousin (plus their husbands) spent the weekend with us and I don’t want to grown immune to prescription hcg while I lose and gain the same 4 lbs week after week.

Hambone has captured all of our hearts and suddenly everyone wants to come out to the country and spend time with us. LoL

My husband is smoking a beer can chicken on Friday for a couple friends and I’m not clear of hcg until 3 am Saturday. My sister in law is bringing a keto lasagna up on Saturday and I’m making a veggie tray. Sunday we are traveling to SF Bay Area for my baby shower and getting
our rings cleaned and checked for our diamond warranty.

If I’m up over 2 lbs from 147.2 on Monday, it will be a steak day and I will continue to eat Ketoish until after Mother’s Day. My goal was 145 and then 140. Savannah, I'm not clear, you mention your baby shower--are you pregnant? Or am I misunderstanding? Missing something? Maybe recently pregnant? I think with all your social engagements, going to a PI is a great idea. So much easier to eat on P3, almost impossible on P2 with a lot of engagements. And seems with 20 days of injections to do after PI, you should be fine, and have time for some good losses then, tho you may not have that much more to lose. The food sounds really good, am curious about the keto lasagna your sister in law is bringing. Last night my DH ordered a pizza for himself from Jet's Pizza--and I looked and saw they actually make a pizza with cauliflower crust. I know you can purchase them frozen, but it is a different thing altogether to order one freshly made with cauliflower crust. On P3 at some point I am going to order one! He really likes their regular crust pizza. I've never tasted any of their pizza, but something now to try. Have a great weekend, enjoy your PI.

rk, am sending out full commands for a a visit from Woosh Fairy to come both your way and Tracy's way--and to anyone else who has reached plateau/stall. They are so frustrating, have to keep thinking it evens out. Maybe even allows for better stablization in P3? Good luck at managing your company on P2.

Hi LinderLou, I think mostly P3 with occassional treats or cheats (however you want to call it) of higher carbs during p4 is probably the way I'll need to go, too. If I ever get to P4. If you don't like smoothies that much, remains to be seen how much you will use your Vitamix--but you have it if you need it. I use mine all the time. I do want to someday do that egg pudding that was posted here.

Great loss mrsstrong, over a lb, WOW!. Looking at your ticker, you do homeopathic hcg? Drops, I'm thinking? After my planned interruption, I am going to do remaining P2 on pellets from Intermountain. Hope it goes well. Have you ever done the injections? Or you a strictly homeopathic girl? I think the biggest adjustment will be not drinking before or after, so the timing is my concern.

Savannah, so you have a farm? With goats, cows, chickens? I LOVE that. I can binge watch Dr. Pol and all the vet shows. But I especially love farm animals. How cool!
