The ďmyĒ in baby shower was a typo. Iím not pregnant. Iím 43 and in perimenopause, 8 bulging discs and a pacemaker so that will not happen for me again even though I do yearn for a 4th. Hambone will have to pacify me until one of my girls make me a grandma. Unfortunately, my 21 year old doesnít have an interest in a traditional family. Sheís young and may change her mind later. We shall see.

I do live on a small ranch in the country. We have almost 9 acres, 14 goats, a donkey, 10 chickens, and now a piglet. I also have a few fruit and nut trees and a decent sized fenced garden. Iím definitely an animal person. Each animal has a name and a personality. Iíve been living this life for 3 years now after growing up in the suburbs near SF. Iíve never been as happy and at peace as I am now. I get way more visitors than I did in the suburbs because our friends and family see our place as a vacation. Lovely Losers 2021- AWESOME in April!!

If anyone has ever considered taking a pig in as a pet and your zoning allows for it, I highly recommend it. Sheís was loud when crated the first night and has done great since. She has a litter box available, but Iíve been house training her like a dog. She hasnít had an accident yet and sheís so loving. Even as Iím writing, Hambone is cuddled up under my sweater under my arm. She placed herself there.

I think the biggest adjustment will be not drinking before or after, so the timing is my concern.
Yes, drops. I have never used injections. Have lost 90 pounds in a few rounds overall around 2013 (I think), came back once to do a round a few years ago, then now because, Covid gains.

I have maintained well over the years with keto which works great for me, though 150 never stuck. Kind of ended up at 160 which is fine too. Weíll see what happens this time!

This past P4 I tried adding carbs and well, itís problematic. I have no satiation when I eat them. So I am going to stick with keto now, allowing myself an occasional treat that has carbs when they are tied to an occasion.

Question for someone, Leez? I looked back on your thread about planned interruptions. I saw that Dr. S said after 14 days, have to reload, but I don't see any reference if ok to make PI a tad longer, or is it just then considered a new round?
A planned interruption cannot be longer than 14 days. Otherwise it's considered CYCLING which is not protocol. You would have to wait the number of weeks required between rounds based on which one you are on.

I think there is a bit of a grace period before you get into cycling mode. The manuscript says that if you go past 14 days, you have to load again which seems to indicate that you have that option. Dr. Simeons doesn't really say how far past 14 days you can go and still resume the rest of your 40 dose round, but what makes sense to me is that if you have completed a full P3, then your round is over.

I think you hit nail on head, about the carbs and unable to reach satia with them. That's my problem, if I have a peanut butter sandwich, I could eat 2 or three. They are "problematic" as you say. But at some point I would like to add them back in moderation and not gain, or lose control when I do. We'll see. But you certainly described how I feel about carbs, and including them mostly at celebrations. I'm really anxious to see how I do on the homeopathic pellets, you've certainly done great on the drops!

Thank you, Leez. Your article is very helpful. All of us together were getting close, but it is wonderful that you have that article up and ready! I still can't decide. I have two more days in my P3. Will decide on Saturday.

Thanks sdwis and Leez for response on the length of PI. I was just curious as to whether after more than 14 days of planned interruption you had to complete more than the remaining part of 40 days for at least a short round (like 23 dose days). Not sure I am making myself clear--but your responses answered my question. Thanks for feedback. And I really enjoyed your article about planned interruptions. Thanks for link.

Mrs.Strong, Glad to hear that you are connecting with your brother. It must be hard sometimes to be so far away. I have an old back injury from years ago, (Soft tissue, a bad collision I was hit by a drunk driver) but I do daily exercises for back strength and stretching. I rarely if ever have back pain because I do my quick routine in the morning and while watching the TV in the evening. So this has been a big shock for me and I am surprised how bad it has been. Today is better, no naprosyn and doing ok. I will probably take 2 epsom salt baths, walk and some stretches but no weights or lifting of anything like groceries, etc. Any advice on back pain or exercises is always welcome from fellow sufferers.

AFM:I need some virtual hand holding: I AM IN A 4 DAY PLATEAU!!!!! UGH!!!!! It is P2 day 12 and it seems too early to be in a plateau! I am stopping the Naprosyn, and going to try to drink more water. I have been completely POP so this is disappointing. We have company coming this weekend and I am trying to craft menus where I can just eat P2--Like shrimp kabobs and a plain one for me. My DH wants me to take a break but it is too soon for me and I think I can manage this since we will be eating all meals here (COVID) or take out and I can make my own stuff. Hopefully the woosh comes soon!

    Have a great Thursday everyone!

I am so sorry about that collision. How awful. Glad you can be on top of it most of the time. I wish I had advice. I am just a hip pro with my titanium hips!

Yes, it is nice, and it is hard! My parents are both vaccinated now so I feel a little more relieved and hopeful I will see them again. They are close to 80.

Dubbles, what should you leave under your pillow for the Whoosh Fairy to come?
A measuring tape? Grissini stick? old yoga pants? Ten dollar bill?

    TGIF!!!

The scale fairy visited and left me with a 1.4 drop! What a happy surprise. So now I only have 3 days and 2 non patch days to go. Eating on Wednesday!! Something to look forward to.
I love the thought of having a bunch of animals-we have two acres in the country so any additions will be after I retire maybe some chickens and a possible goat but with our current schedule it feels impossible. We also have a big veg garden which I love to work in the summer.
Well gotta get this day over hope everyone has a great weekend!

Tracy, JGD--looks like from Jeanette's l.4 lb drop all that was needed for whoosh from scale fairy was marching papers at my command! And Tracy, are you sure you haven't been enjoying too much eye candy? Maybe that's holdup if they didn't visit this morning? Ha! These things can be a trade-off ya know.

Great drop Jeanette! You may get a lot more before the next 5 days are over! Good luck!

Well, the scale fairy isn't visiting me either...1st day of p3 and up .2--but I did get up an hour earlier and weighed in earlier than normal. Stupid, grumpy, uncooperative, unflexible scale!. Hope all you gals have a good weekend, we will be leaving today to go out of town and I'm leaving the computer at home, so prob won't be back to post until Tuesday. I read posts on my phone, but don't do the tap a talk (or whatever it is on my phone) you prob wouldn't be able to comprehend the post if I did, my smart phone is always typing something other than what I tell it to, then I look like a dummy.

Tracy, that whoosh fairy is a very fickle fairy indeed. Looks like she visited Jeanette last night so maybe you’ll be next.

Dubbles, the Lovelies like to refer to the scale as TESS (the evil stupid scale). I believe Pearly may have been the one who came up with that years ago. No worries, I’m sure the .2 is from weighing earlier. Enjoy your P3.

I dropped the .4 gain from yesterday so I’m sitting right back at LDW today.

    TGIF!
