I wouldn't lose 3.8 lbs on any other protocol in less than a week, so I'm happy. For some reason I am feeling like the food is much more boring this P2, wish my mindset was a little more settled, content. Oh well, it's ok as it won't be a really long 40 day round--more like another 18 days--whoops, more like 20 days with transition days. Time goes by pretty quickly, I want to be done with P2 and enjoy summer with p3! I can do this.
I think I am preferring shorter rounds. If I stabilize well I may just stick to shorter or with an interruption to hold me over a longer one.

I don’t know if you can have eggs or yogurt but it breaks the boredom nicely for me. Also, cocoa powder! Dutch cocoa is allalized and tastes really good with some milk and stevia!

I decided to stop, I'm getting hungrier, and my job starting Monday and being physical, I'll prob forget my drops and be very hungry, etc. So for now, 17 lb loss in 26 days of VLC is great. Until next time, I will have a similiar goal of 17 lbs : ) and should be my skinny self again. I'll be in p3 by Saturday night. I may have a burger for dinner that night (burger patty) and I really would love my almond milk cocoa. I really wish I wasn't starting work next week, I would have probably squeezed out another 8 or 10 days of my drops, probably only 2 more lbs lol. I will say I stay to the OP, but I caved about 5 different days with diet soda, and lost fine.

My surgery is beg of June, so my plan is to do a round (end of June), or I could wait until August. Hmm, the months are passing by so fast! If my surgery weren't in the way, I'd do the diet again in 8 weeks.

I'm glad to have seen the same results as injections. Keeping it off, we will see for sure! I have a grocery list of all low carb food ready to go (roasts, burger patties, lots of turkey patties from Trader Joe's (I'll eat with green beans most likely), I got alot of turkey meat to make a lot of taco salads (I can never find taco seasoning that is Keto), eggs with avocado/salsa, and I can make meatballs (but I usually use egg and almond flour with that), I have miracle rice, or can try riced cauliflower on the side once in awhile. I also have my egg protein powder for almond milks fruity shakes.
and I'll stay away from nuts, olives and pepperonies for a couple/few weeks (hard to do when you are dairy/gluten free and need other low carb options!).

    -80 pounds!

I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

What are some of your favorite things to eat in P3? Fav meals/ideas/recipes?

I bought the turkey burgers from Trader Joe's, I plan on eating 2 patties with green beans for lunch everyday at work lol. Easy to grill up and be done for my busy job. With mustard, relish probably.

I never do bacon on low carb, I can never find any without sugar, they all add sugar, so it's off the list for me (even turkey bacon has sugar). I wish I could find breakfast sausage, turkey breakfast sausage or bacon without sugar lol. But I'm not really a huge bacon fan (crazy, I know), my weakness is more pepperoni.

I am looking forward to doing roast in the crockpot with beef broth and seasoning. Of course I can't do potatoes, or carrots like my family, but I can add celery and zucchini for myself I suppose.

Have you tried Smithfield bacon? That’s what I use. No sugar. I find mine at Publix. I too love a good pot roast on P3. I also do a lot of lamb steaks (shoulder chops). Ribeye steak with a side of guacamole or cauliflower mash. I also make chicken thighs with a cream curry sauce (just a tablespoon of butter in pan sauté some sliced onions, add 1cup heavy cream and reduce. Add 2-3 tablespoons of curry powder depending on your preference. Pour over cooked chicken thighs. So yummy!
Not sure if you enjoy sushi, put I do a couple poke bowls on p3. I get raw salmon on a bed of salad instead of the traditional rice. Add all the veggies you like!

Ooh also - if you like spicy food. Jalepeno poppers! Stuff a jalepeno with cream cheese, wrap in bacon slice and back at 400° F for about 18 mins or until bacon is crispy. Assuming you find a bacon you find acceptable! Great snack and actually very filling.

Kirkland Low Sodium Bacon does not list sugar on the ingredient list. It is a staple of mine in P3/P4.

Other favorites - avocado, mayonnaise, egg dishes (deviled eggs especially). A good rib eye steak, chicken thighs with skin, burger patties made with 80/20 beef, topped with cheese, bacon and avocado - yum... You could skip the cheese, of course. Pork tenderloin steaks. Just a few ideas.

I use Kirkland too, but the sugar in other bacon has never bothered me in the past.

I love anything eggs, avocado, tuna salad with mayo. I make a lot of roasted veggies (broccoli, peppers, cauliflower), salmon, no bean chicken or beef chili (with cheese, sour cream), avocado, and pico, fritatta, RIBS in the IP! I found a great P3 rub recipe and bought a P3 BBQ sauce. I mean, P3 is awesome LOL Can't wait!

So far 16.4 but one more drop day. This is an average of .6 so not too bad. I know I always want more but this is what it is! I think I will finish the two weeks when I get back, do P3 and P4 and then back for another round till goal which will probably be 4 weeks.

    This is the BBQ sauce:

    2 T Tomato puree
    1/3 water
    1 T Swerve
    1/2 tsp of allspice
    1/4 tsp of nutmeg
    1/2 tsp dry mustard
Couple of dashes of rice vinegar or ACV
    Dash of garlic powder
    Dash of onion powder
Couple of dashes of smoked paprika
    1/2 tsp liquid smoke
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4-1/2 tsp pepper

I warmed it all up so the Swerve would melt and the ingredients would mix better. This is enough for one rack of ribs.

I will dig up the rub!
PS: I think the rub is just any recipe you like but replace the sugar with Swerve.
