Not sure what happened but I dropped 1.8# overnight! This all remains such a mystery! So I have options. I am now at 170.4. Goal is 150. I have a feeling these last 20# will be hard because I have not been down there in a while now and the closest you get the harder, so I think I will finish this round when I get back, and plan my last round to go until goal. Anything I can shave off a 6 weeks round will be great. LOL That or I do a short interruption again after 4 weeks. It is really helping me mentally.

Anyway, today's weight is LDW and this is my goal when I get back without being able to weigh. I never weigh on the 2 no-drop days, no point weighing the first day of P3 and so I have no opportunity to weigh till I get back. It will be an experiment to eat what I know works for me and just trust!

Hope everyone has a great day!
Nice drop! Good luck on your interruption. I decided to do the interruption instead of ending my round so I am now back to P2 VLCD 1. Have fun on your trip!

Ground beef taco salad (make your taco seasoning). Tuna salad. Salads with full fat dressings that I make from scratch with grilled chicken. Chicken swarma. Beef ragu served over zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash. Chicken tenders coated in pork rinds/parm cheese. Cheeseburger in lettuce bun. Steaks with sautéed mushrooms. Look up keto recipes...I like Carolyn Ketchum, Maria Emmerich and Kydra Holley. Once you find recipes you like, bookmark them. I also find printing some out helpful.
Yummy, all of those suggestions! So you are back on P2 after a PI? I'm in P2 also. I have to say I do miss P3. I had no trouble stablizing at all, but I'm not sure I added enough foods, I added foods but not a lot of diversity--loved adding fats, like mayo and salad dressings, sausage and bacon. I added yogurt and cream cheese a couple of times, but not a lot of cheese. Absolutely no nuts were added. Next P3, which will last prob a long time, I will add more things. Thanks for all your suggestions, I'm going to copy your post, so I can go and look at some of those receipes! Good luck this part of P2, how long do you plan on being in this part of the round?

I wear a size 3/5 when I weigh 155 lbs, which according to the charts is quite over my correct bmi. At 130 bs I am a 2 with clothes hanging off of me and looking like I have a terminal illness, according to charts I could still lose a few!!

The last time I got down to where others where telling me I should be I hated it, Yes, I was skinny as could be, at the low end of my bmi, had reached my goal weight and I was miserable, both physically and mentally. My family finally broke down and told me how awful I looked and I finally broke down and told them how awful I felt!! I gained back 20 lbs right away and felt 100 times better. My Dr adamantly disagreed, he took the bmi charts as gospel and I had climbed back up to the yellow area, when I told him I intended to gain back another 20 lbs and live my life in the 170's where both my body and spirit align and I relax into who I am and feel comfortable in my own skin, he was appalled,,,,he is no longer my doctor!!

At 220 lbs I wear a size 13 jeans, at 170 I wear a size 7 ( I have to wear juniors jeans because I have no hips ), I am comfortable in the 170s,,,,my best friend weighs 100lb and wears a size 1,,,that is her "right place" to be, weighing 170 and wearing a size 7 is my "right place" to be!

I have to remember going forward that while HCG may allow me to be a size 3 that is not my happy place!!

About todays weigh in,,,,I Lost Zero !! and so it begins,,,every 10 pounds the big goose egg !! so still at 10.2 , I'm not complaining and I know my bodies pattern, but I hate the stalls!!

    Y'all have a good Sunday,
    Peace Out !

I never go by BMI chart! It's awfully wrong! Glad he is no longer your doctor! Just to add to how different we are: At 220 I wore a size 18 (245 was my highest and I wore a size 22). At 170 I wear 10-12. At 150 a 10 comfortably. I could fit 8 but I don't like it as it is still generally too tight in the boobs.

I have been around 160 for years and it seems to be my normal place but we'll see

Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope everyone was happy at weigh-in, if they did weigh in. Happy with their past week? I think a lot of people have moved on to p3, but I'm still on a short round of P2. Today was my 10th day of injections, and actual vlc day #8. So after 7 full days of vlc eating, I lost 10 lbs, but find myself 6 lbs lower than last dose weight at end of Round 1. I'm very happy with that, wasn't sure exactly how this would go, but it seems to be doing about as usual. Friday I started taking a scoop of collagen supplement, and it has 70 calories--whew, I was shocked so many calories, so I am eliminating one fruit daily. Afraid I am going to really miss that apple, but I am curious to see how the collagen makes me feel, some say it helps joints, hair, skin, nails. We'll see, always wonder if these things are just "fads". Have to say, tho, I was delighted that you really couldn't taste it in black coffee. I have resisted so long because I thought it might taste ycky, but it has NO taste.

Am fixing today a roast that isn't so much like a meat, carrots, potatoes roast--but more like a beef bourguignon than the typical Sunday roast! I love it, but I won't be having, except I may scoop a little of the tomato mixture as my vegetable as I eat my leftover chicken for dinner. Making it at DH's request. If I were in P3, I could eat some, but plan on staying POP. Sigh. I'm committed to getting this done, and hopefully not doing another p2 for quite a while. It's all good. Hope everyone has a great Sunday, whatever phase they are in currently!

Em--I am so with you and mrsstrong--I don't agree with most of those weight charts docs have! That goes for people and pets, ha! If I went by them I'd be so thin, I would look sickly too. I know exactly what you mean. And my dogs are the same way--just mentioning them as I had my Boston Terrier at vet yesterday, and he is 30 lb., which is over what the standard weights are but he looks wonderful. Id have to starve him to keep him on the charts, and I refuse to do that to my dogs so they meet some charted weights! Same goes for me! I would have to semi-starve to stay at 135-140, and it isn't going to happen. Frankly I wouldn't look better either. You know what you feel best at, and that's what you should go for. So listen to yourself, and good luck with your losses.

That seems high. For comparison sake, the normal serving contains about 11 grams. I use a 1-1/2 T. scoop. And its 40 calories. That amount is sufficient to get the benefits. I use custom collagen brand. Maybe your scoop is bigger?

Amen, Pearly Mae and Emlyn! We are all built differently and knowing when we're at our healthiest is so powerful, liberating, and imho the key to long-term success.

After my first HCG round in 2010 I was back at my "best" weight of 150 pounds, wearing a size 9 (Emlyn, go team hipless!), and looking trim. 6 years later I was 170 pounds but the same size, maybe even a little leaner. Say what? I'd initially done the protocol not just for fat loss but to learn if there was a dietary cause to my joint issues. Discovered gluten and I don't vibe, eliminated that, then promptly started all kinds of muscle-building physical activity I'd never been able to do because of joint pain! I would never have thought that my body composition would change like that, but the proof is in the pants. Dr. Simeon titled his manuscript Pounds and Inches for a reason…something I'm reminding myself of as I persevere through a 3 day stall after 18.9 pounds lost. >_<

I like collagen and I think it makes a small difference

You can do this! I know how hard it is to feed the rest of the family when on P2!

The Vital collagen I use is 70 for two scoops/1 serving. I usually just use one scoop.

Leez, I thought it was high too! If I knew how to attach I'd take a pic of label, but since I don't--it's Native Path brand, Grass fed Collagen Peptides. Per scoop is 70 calories, with 18 grams of Protein. It says 1 scoop is 70 calories and it is 20 g. This is my first experience with collagen--do you think it is a real deal, or just a fad? Would love your feedback. Thanks.

Thanks mrsstrong, I can, you can--we can all do what we make up our minds to do. But I must say, I am wanting to eat more, and that is worrisome to me.
